Date Visited: 03/05 - Bad
Don't. Just don't. I have lived in the area before but nothing could prepare me for this. I had to move in quick and they had a move in special. I should have known that with a move in special in LV with the current apt climate this was bad news. After I signed the lease I went in. Yes, bad, I know. The surfaces are pure crap, the oven and fridge are missing pieces and I won't even use that dish washer it's so bad. They show in the pamphlet that phase II has much larger bedrooms than phase I. EH! WRONG! Not to scale people. Now I'm stuck in a disgusting apartment that isn't nearly big enough with sickening appliances and surfaces. My window has been broken out, my car has been rear ended (no notes, just me paying for the damage) and The maintenance is spotty at best. I do not blame the immediate manager or the ONE maintenence guy, who are both hard working individuals. From what I understand this place was purchased by some f*(KT@%D who didn't do his homework and now can't afford to fix crap. My second story apt flooded bad, it took them 2 days to fix it! And the carpet is still pulled up, the linoleum still needs to be fixed, and it still smells like @$$ a week later. I had a neighbor who had a vicious dog he didn't restrain who weighed about 75 lbs, and the max is 25. The dog lunged at me. They told me they would get rid of him on a nusiance complaint, but eventually evicted him. About 5 weeks after I freaked out because the dog had come at me ready to attack multiple times. Did I mention it did the same to kids? The washers and dryers are always half busted. They put some new ones in, but the inputs or outputs or something puts don't work, so only 2 of the four work. My white (and varying color) trash neighbors will pull your damp stuff out and put it on the floor. Did I mention the sewage backs up and your whole apartment will smell like someone's taco $#!t when it rains? Yeah. This place is also known as La Rochelle Apartments, and if I knew them what I know now I would have stayed homeless. Stay away. Please. For the Love OF GOD!

Several times - We have asked Management fix things but they totaly ignore the request or give one excuse after another - only when we tretened to sue them did they do some of it (still not enough). we lived in the appartment for over a month without the airconditioning beeing fixed and when complaining about the MOLD they just told us to move in to another apartment or move out. It is not yet SLUM but are heading in that direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS! YES we are still living there but we will be moving out, as soon as we can.
