I am only speaking the truth. I am trying to warn buyers about this place. I have lived here for 4 years and have seen this place go through a lot of changes and property managements. And as the sign says out front "Starting from the mid 100's" This place is a nice place to rent, but NOT to own. Why would a person want to spend over $150,000 when you can hear every single thing from the person above you, below you and behind you? You hear sneezing, coughing, opening and shutting of closet doors, toilet flushing, bath water running! That is what is called "Apartment Living" If you are going to spend over a $150,000 on a place to call "HOME", you should NOT be able to hear every single thing the person does above, below or behind you. Until they can better soundproof these buildings, I will continue to give negative comments about the Carlise at Summerlin. These people that are going to be buying here, need to know that once you buy, you are stuck with what you got. THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT THESE BUILDING ARE NOT INSULATED and you can hear every single thing going on with your neighbors. You seem like a smart person, so you tell me, would you want to spend over a $150,000 on a place to call home when you can hear your neighbors everyday routine? Like I said, that is what is called "Apartment Living" Now they are being turned into Condos, so they should make some adjustments and soundproof these buildings, so you are not spending over $150,000 for Apartment Living!! <addatudee -at- aol.com> - Las Vegas NV USA - Added 11/07/04 - [68.229.2***] 94 Date Visited: 11/04 - Good I have lived here in the Carlisle for a year now and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, the landscaping and overall, I enjoy the PEACE and quiet I have always experienced here. The neighbors are very nice and sociable..unlike many other places in Vegas where your neighbors dont make eye contact, and if you DO make eye contact with them, they scurry away like the cockroaches they probably are. I THOROUGHLY enjoy the fact that we have had Metro (Local PD) out here two times and that was merely for a Mountain lion (cougar) which was found on property. I let my children (ages 8 and 5 yrs) play outside with NO hesitation, whereas on other properties...it would never happen. Yes, The Carlisle has been sold, and is being turned into Condos...and the construction does not add to the overall surroundings obviously, but that is only temporary. As for the prices..I have been in the 'sales' office, and those ladies STILL dont have a solid idea as to what the prices are gonna be. THAT, to me, is very disturbing, as I am very interested in buying ...using my VA benefits. There are so many rumours flying around this place...so I really would not know who to believe around here, and give thier opinions little value especially when I find they are a disgruntled tenant. Regardless...this place..as Ive compared (and lived) is absolutely one of the better neighborhoods Ive lived, and feel very comfortable in recommending this complex to anyone interested. <ed_terrell -at- yahoo.com> - Las Vegas NV USA - Added 11/07/04 - [68.229.0.***] 95 You must judge the truthfulness of any comment and accept responsibility for your use of this information.
