We had the same impression of the Cabana Club as did the previous revewer until we moved into the place. It is ALL STYLE AND NO SUBSTANCE! The leasing representative was very pleasant until the lease was signed whereupon her attitude immediately changed as if she had snagged a couple of suckers. The place is nearly 20 years old, so don't expected the apartments to look like the model units, which have never been lived in.
What don't we like? Sign said "Beautiful Pool" but no heat. Kitchen has old, dilapidated appliances and latex paint on the cupboards that don't have knobs. Imagine after a year, the grease stains that won't come off. And don't expect anything to get fixed without a real fight. It is ALL TALK AND NO ACTION. We had to threaten a lawsuit after going through the month of January, 2005 with NO HEAT. Management sent maintainance FIVE TIMES to fix the problem, but after we threated court action, they hired an outside heating contractor who fixed it in one hour. (Just trying to save $$$$$) And could it be that, when Cabana Club was built, the contractor forgot to put insulation in the walls? Its cold in the Winter and Hot, Hot, Hot in the Summer with sky high electric bills. We feel trapped by the lease, and rent goes up every six months. We can hardly wait to say "bye bye."

This place ranks up there high on my list. My husband and I went there to check them out in June of this year and absolutely LOVE the place. For us, we both work within 5 minutes of the apartment complex so looks like we are moving there in Feb when are lease expires at our other place. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment.
