My husband and I are living at Coral Garden now since the beginning of February and we had problems from the beginning. When we had a look at the complex and the apartment we told them that we had an RV and the young woman said that this wouldn't be a problem and they also told us we could rent extra storage space. When we signed the lease on the day we moved in (we live at the RV Park for a couple of days) we found out that we weren't allowed to park our RV anywhere and all the extra storage space was rented, but they would put us on the waiting list. I wonder if we are still on that list! It was winter so that was no problem that the swimming pools (5) were closed, but when it got hot in April and I saw that the swimming pool was open at the office I asked about our (between apartment block 3 and 5, and they told us they would open after Memorial Day. Whey one was open and the rest closed she didn't tell, even after I asked.
Memorial Day is two weeks ago and 3 out of 5 pools are still closed. They won't tell you the truth, because you here all sorts of reasons and one is, that the whole management changed in the last couple of months and the pool company doesn't work for Coral Garden anymore!!!! One pool is empty and the management say that they have to be cleaned and put in new equipment, but you don't see any pool company working on it.
The apartments are not to bad, yes pretty old I guess, and there is very little storage space in the kitchen and the A/C are not working to good and are very loud.....
I am glad when we can move out here and I won't recommend Coral Garden to anyone, especially because the people in the office are not to good either, they are either poorly trained or pretty lazy, I am not sure. I am an office clerk from profession (in Germany) so I know what I am talking about. But we have a labrador puppy and the dog park is only 10-15 min. walk away and that is great and we have WalMart Supercenter down the road.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Some of the management staff at Coral Gardens are not the sharpest of people. They have a tendency to lose your paperwork...which concerns me since it contains sensitive information. You are required to provide information of bank statements, credit card numbers, and automatic payment checks to make sure you are qualified to live there -- but when they lose this information --- it scares me! Also, be wary when they ask to see $10K in the bank. The place is suspect! The place is busy and who knows if someone has lifted this information from their desks. The management also feel justified to treat you like dirt after you jump hoops to provide the information. I live here...trust me, you are not living in Beverly Hills...but the management staff acts like you have to go through some major screening process. It is a prison! BE very WARY of moving here. It looks great on the outside--- but they will screw you in some way when you live there.

Now, as 1 knows, when living in a community such as Coral Gardens, there are many units, This place has 5 pools, 4 laundry areas that I have noticed, 2 playgrounds, Storage units*at additional costs*....This is LAS VEGAS, Many come here for 3, 6 , 12 mo. positions, why on earth would you want to pay over your means? Now to respond to the rasputin_regret@yahoo.com, Have you EVER thought to talk to your neighbors SIR?, instead of picking out the daily lives of the people in which you choose to live?. When I came here they escorted me around the complex in a lil golf cart type car, I got to see the GOOD, and the not so nice areas, im sure you saw those as well. These apts have good maintenace, calls answered within a couple hrs, The grounds are basically a desert lancscape which i detest. Basically, IT IS a safe, mid-class place to call home, that is convient to the Strip and all shopping from what I know. Been here 6 yrs now, my only complaint is that there is no *playground* on the side of buildings 7-8.

The whole place should be torn down.
It's a live version of sandford and son if you walk about. One women has a dineing room table covered plants and plastic chairs in the bushes at building 7. Enouth knick nacks for everyone in the window sill. Another person has 8 bikes chained outside there first story apt. and more people then should be there.
This place charges to much and has a lack of privacy. Other places like this charge almost 200$. less. I hear the people call kids, dogs and cats all day long with the windows closed. I also get subjected to loud music on weekends. Rap and country. I don't have to open the window to hear the outside at all. The apt. set up reminds me of a Days Inn from the 1970's. The front door has no privacy at all. The model they showed me looks nothing like the apt. they gave me. There is no C.A.C..
You can get C. air and dishwasher for the same price elsewhere. Don't waste your time here. They have used car salesman type tactics here in the office.
The model had a dishwasher in the model and online. It also has a bar in it I did not get. I got a railing instead of a bar in the middle of my home like you see in frount of someones home. What the hell do you do with a railing? The kitchen has little space for dishes and food. In fact they did not finish mine they just left a gap where a dishwasher was to go. This place is not built up to fire codes and does not come with something to put out a fire out with. I have lost water and power for not reason here hours at a time. They charge for water and gas also that can grow bigger at any time. They are also the only apt. complex I know that charges for covered parking. CAN WE SAY CHEAP?
This apt. complex is also a fire hazard waiting to happen. It has party walls like a hotel. As of late we have several dumpster fires and someone tried to burn down the laundry room. We also have people who BBQ on second floor breeze ways. This place has 30 years of cheap press dry wood that could go up. My mail box looks like it has not been painted years and many apts and some side walks are not handicaped friendly. The kids here out of control "Even at night" between buildings 7-8 because the parents are to lazy to take them to the playground. Security is a joke. If you are living here and you resign there idea for you to resign is basket of popcorn and coke and they clean your rugs. LOL Other places give you half off rent. First chance I get I am out of here. The landscape is nice but you can't live in flowers and trees.
I don't recomend this place at all.

very good place to live. I loved living there. i would have contuned to live there but the rent got to high.the management is friendly and responds to concerns very fast. A+
