I've lived here for almost 2 years and in the last year it has gotten to be a terrible place to live, once my lease is up I'm out of here.
Management is a complete joke. They are rude, lazy, ignorant, and unprofessional. Good luck trying to get something fixed!
Management is just passing time waiting for Harrah's to implode it to make way for a parking garage.
Crime is out of control with break-ins, car thefts, disturbances, etc... The security gate is always left open and there is never any security guards to be found.
The only thing that is good about the place is its location. Other than that the complex itself is a total dump its old and falling apart.
I strongly advise you NOT to move into Desert Clubs or you will be sorry.

The management here is horrible! I decided to end my lease with Desert Club because the management at the complex is completely imcopetent. IT might be close to the strip and other amenities but it is just not worth it. The staff will disregard all requests and lose your rent! They lost mine and had the nerve to send me an eviction notice!! When talking to the corporate office it was easy to see why the complex staff sucks, they are exactly the same way where they do not care about their residents. All they want is money. If you want to be invisible to your landlord and want to take a gamble on whether your rent check will post to your account go ahead and sign a lease.

I've been here about a year (due to a lease). Since I've been here the rear gate has been broken and left open 24/7. So much for the security of a gated community. I've set up three seperate appointments due to broken appliances and they failed to appear all three times. When I first moved in the neighbor right above me was living in a one bedroom with three other people (Against even the rules of Desert Club). After countless complaints due too banging around (which became progresevly worse as I filed complaints) I had to move in to a new apartment. Since then three other people have moved out from under this jerk and he still lives there in lease violation! The main pool is shut down and the staff is changed out about every three months.

Ill have to say that when i came to visit Desert Club, my roommate and I both loved it! It was close to UNLV, had a nice lay out and everyone seemed friendly...but now that I live here, I completely regret signing that stupid 12-month lease! In the past 4 months of living here, I have seen 3 new managers, all of which have ignored all of my maintenance requests. Once you move in, the complex hasnt a care in the world about their tenants and they prove so by lying when they say "theyll be in tomorrow to fix it". My recommendation: dont listen to their smiley faces and disregard the "lovely" surroundings...its quite the facade!
