If you want to understand a complex, watch all the move outs each month, this place has HIGH turn over, and for a reson! the first problem is management. kendra and her staff will be real nice, until you sign the lease. once they have your signature, they dont care what happens to you. the next problem is location. it looks good, but do not be fooled. it is on sahara ave, one of the top three most DANGEROUS streets in america according to accedent records. it is so bad that 60 minutes did story on it! as for security in the complex, it sems that everyone under the sun knows the security acess code for the front gate, which is only closed at night. as a result, there have been stolen cars, vandalized cars and the latest issue has been gas tanks cyphened dry! then there are issues with the unsupervised children that cause damages to the cars. management knows about it, but has done nothing. health is another issue. the complex had ducks living in the pool, and at the last i saw, the problem was not solved. they handeld this by jacking up the chimicals in the pool (i hope you bolnds like green hair!). with the potential issues of duck dropings in the pool, and the possible health issues, i dont think they thought about the danger to the comunity. they should have trapped the ducks and had them relocated. when there were problms with noise at the pool, there solution, they closed it at night in the middle of summer! so st this point, forget the utility of the pool. there have also been issues with the Gym being vandalized and being unavailable. as for resedince, management will say that they screen everyone, i question this! there has been activity at one appartment which indicates that the occupants are dealing drugs. at another appartment there was, what was clearly, a brothel that ran for months. you could tell by all the traffic coming into the appartments, the honking horns and people standing in the parking areas drinking and talking about what was going on. the brothel seems to have moved, but it was running for months, and i never saw anything that indicated that management was doing anything about it. there have also been some assalts. if management would change and clean this place up, it would be great. the place had a great floor plan and the potential of being one of the great places to live in LV. however, the lack of concern and action by management has allowed this place to fall into the dumps. If you are looking for a place in LV, just keep looking!. <awake_the_sleeping_giant -at- yahoo.com> - Las Vegas NV USA - Added 08/21/05 - [71.49.194.***] 197 Date Visited: 07/05 - Bad The location is key. Easy access to my job on Valley View and 10 minutes to the Strip with mild traffic. We've been here since February and the rains were awful. This place must be old, because the ceiling in our bedroom fell onto our floor. These things happen, I suppose, but we were sleeping in our living room on a blow-up mattress for a couple of weeks. When they finally fixed it, they didn't insulate the ceiling and it was extrememly hot during the coming summer months. We ended up burning a lot of money to keep it comfortable. I will say that after I wrote a letter to the management (kendra), she gave me a 1/2 month free. What pissed me off most was that when we would inquire as to the length of time that we would be sleeping on the ground (or whatever), she didn't even know who I was... even when I mentioned which apartment I lived in. The whole thing sucked. Great location, bad management. <gibbsy1023 -at- yahoo.com> - Las Vegas NV USA - Added 07/08/05 - [207.230.140.***] 184 Date Visited: 12/03 - Good I lived there in 1998 and can't wait to return some day soon. The place is absolutely incredible! There is no way I can tell you about all the positive aspects of this complex and its management in just one paragraph. The only thing they needed to change back then was to assure that the carpets looked new when the tenants moved in. The only way for you to possibly comprehend how incredible the place is, is to go see for yourself. I lived in Vegas for four years and other places for 15yrs, and dream of returning to the Enclaves soon. I am busier than you can imagine at this moment, but just had to take 5 minutes to get a login ID and write this comment. Thanks to everyone who managed the place in 1998. You were all wonderful. <mikeharshberger -at- libero.it> - Salt Lake City UT USA - Added 04/18/04 - [24.2.100.***] 37 You must judge the truthfulness of any comment and accept responsibility for your use of this information.
