It was $380/mo when I lived there, good location (across from UNLV & 2 1/2 miles from strip), I found it to be fairly safe - albeit a bit noisy - place to live . . . biggest upside location & price, worst - small size (quad studio of about 380 ft, the size of most apt's living rooms, your bedroom and your living room will be the same area). Also you will have to share kitchen w/ three people, share bathroom w/ a stranger on the other side of the BR). The bathrooms lock from the inside so you can ensure the guy next to you won't walk in, however this can be a real pain if the guy forgets to unlock the door connecting your side, you will be locked out & unable to get in, you can knock on his door but he may not be there & the office may be closed). If you like luxury & little conveniences, this is not for you. If you are into no-frills monastic self-denial, like to live by yourself, and like a value, it might be . . . but overall you're probably better off finding a roommate and splitting a 2 BR apt, it would cost the same. In retrospect, I can't believe I lived here as long as I did, I can't recommend per se but I guess you can kind of get used to it.

Beware if you choose to move in for the low value price of $380.00 includes water/electricity as of 9/2003. With every shower like in a house if someone flushes or runs water in same unit you get fluctuating water temp. I am not sure of this or if this just randomly happens during the shower. From just right to cold to very very scorching hot water! PS: Must share kitchen in all units. Other units you must share the bathroom/shower/bathtub! You do get your own private sink in your room.
