I have lived here a year and have had no bad experiences as far as violence or unfair treatment. I don't agree with the rent increase and feel as a senior citizen that I should get a discount. I am still working but it takes 2 paychecks to pay the rent. We have waited a long time for the second pool and now can't even go in yet.I think that they should let you be able to get into the gym area in the pm. I am unable to use it because I work and it is only open during the day when management is there. It does take awhile to get maintance done but in talking with the crew there seems to be a lack of personnel. I wish the gates would lock and you could access from other areas in the complex. The grounds are very well kept up. The girls in the office are not very good at giving messages and were alot nicer before moving in. I have not heard anything about them being made into condos. I think there should be a children's play area and a box for outgoing mail.

It will be 4 years this summer that we have lived here. We are on the 3rd or 4th different management company. When we first moved in there was a children’s playground, a basketball court and two pools. There was a maintenance man that would stop by just to make sure all was well. We have all the schools and all the shopping and resturants close by. But....with every new management company, more and more goes down hill. Now they are raising our rent every six months and moving in worse and worse tenants. We have had bikes, car radios and children toys stolen. We have seen crack houses quarantined and new residents moved in with weeks. We have had to remove the content of our kitchen and bathroom several times to fog for bugs that will not go away. We have heard gunfire and been attacked by neighbors that management will not evict all though we get notices for noise because the children are playing outside at 6pm. Now they have locked all the back gates so you cannot conveniently leave, yet the front gates do not close.....so anyone can enter!!! We have only been here this long because the rent stayed the same for the first three and years. Now we will have to change our lives to afford higher rent because we will not be staying here any longer. If we have to pay higher rent we definitely will expect higher standards.

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SHIT HOLE. I'VE ONLY BEEN HERE 8 MONTHS AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO BE UP. THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE ARE VERY NICE UNTIL YOU MOVE IN THEN THEY TURN INTO COMPLETE BITCHES AND WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT OUR REPEATED COMPLAINTS ABOUT LOUD NEIGHBORS, ETC. AND WHY SHOULD THEY? THE PLACE IS GETTING READY TO BE CONVERTED TO CONDOS. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THOSE PHONY C***S IN THE OFFICE!!!

It will be 2 years this summer that I have lived there. There are some good things about this complex and there are a lot of bad things too. Here’s the good. There are a ton of restaurants and retail stores near by. You are close to gas stations, grocery stores, Walgreens for prescriptions, Walmart, and if you chose a few of the locals casinos without going near the crazy strip. The complex is looking nicer with trees and flowers. They have even repainted all the buildings and fences. We have new gates, new pool with waterfall, new gym and new offices. The landscaping crew comes weekly during summer. Most of the complex is kept clean and there is decent parking. It may not be near your building, but you are given one covered spot. And the best part, they accept large dogs because they go by breed not size.
Now, having said the good, let’s be fair and say the parts that I don’t like. Now, I know that no complex is perfect and there are always going to be things that don’t go your way. But some of this bad is too bad to accept. The new gates don’t work. So anyone can come in as they please. That doesn’t make me feel very secure. And there used to be patrol every night. Then it went to occasionally a guy sitting at the front watching the gates. Now we don’t have any security. And when the gates did close, anyone can tail gate in after someone punches the code. There is a new pool, but they haven’t given anyone amenities keys to the new gates to get in the pool. We have a new gym and new tv room, etc. but they are all in the office building which closes at 5pm. So how can anyone who has a job use the amenities we are paying for? We should have a back door that we can go in with a key at night to work out or use tanning beds or whatever. And they tend to close the office up earlier than 5pm. One time I rushed home from work early to get to the office before 5pm for something important and at 4:45pm it was already closed up. Other bad things, are items such as maintenance and office workers. I can’t count on my hands how many times I have called and left messages with no one returning my calls. I repeatedly call and will leave a message. I have started documenting all calls and times, dates, etc. to record how I can’t get any help. When you do go into the office, they are not very helpful and 8 out of 10 times will get an attitude with you really quick. And forget going above them to the manager because apparently she is not to be bothered by us lowly residents. You can’t go to the manager unless you go through her crabby ladies. Also, their rules and policies change all the time. Such as, how they regulate and charge for water and sewer. And every time you renew it’s something different tacked on to the price and it goes up all the time. They don’t care to keep good residents that pay on time and never have complaints or problems and want to renew at the same price. No, they would rather raise the rent and let trouble residents move in. now we all know this complex is going to condos. It’s obvious by their upgrades. So why don’t they just admit it and work with us on it.
Now let’s get to the really bad stuff: BUGS! I have had to fog 4 times, gone through 3 gallons of bug spray. I have had to remove the content of my kitchen and bathroom several times to fog. The office wouldn’t do anything. They said all they could do was let maintenance know. Well they never did anything so I finally called the health department on them for an investigation. It was unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. Finally after the health department contacted them, they finally hired an exterminator and sprayed each building in every apartment. The bugs then were finally gone. Now, if you have other issues such as a broken toilet, plugged A/C in the dead of summer, etc. you can prepare to wait at least 4 days before they come out, if they do at all. They need to higher more staff. The office won’t accept or hold any packages for you, but they are quick to give out the key to your apartment for carpet cleaners you call to come in during the day while you are at work. Interesting don’t you think? Also, there is not outgoing mail box on premises. You can receive mail but have to go to post office or box to pay those bills they love to give you. And lastly, lets discuss the police activity I have seen. I haven’t witnessed any shootings, thank God, but on a regular basis a police chopper circles the complex shining their spotlight into your patio door looking for someone. Just last week, they hovered over one of the buildings with their light using a loud speaker yelling “stop right there, don’t move”. Wow, I feel safe now!
I know owning property is a lot of upkeep and nothing is perfect. But some of the things I have mentioned can easily be rectified. This is all just one resident’s opinion.

Do not rent at this place. As soon as you sign the lease the managment don't want to hear from you. Try and get one of them to call you back, everythings just to much of an effort for them. I tried to call them the other day and it took me 90 min for them to pick up the phone but when i went over to the office three of them were sitting around chatting. This is typical. Maintenance staff are polite, its just the office staff think there too good to talk or listen. DO NOT RENT!!!!

This place sucks I have lived here for three yrs and I have seen a lot of shit. The only reason i still live here is for my children to continue to go to the same school but trust me i am looking elsewhere for a house.

I got sucked into this apartment on a 15 month lease... I would not recomend this apartment complex to any one. Stay clear, they practically rob you. They never take care of any thing. They just recently bolted all the exits but the front one, hope there isn't a fire!!! I am about to move out and now they are telling me they lost my walk through paper with all the existing damages to the apartment and I will have to pay for the damages. They said it was my fault I didn't make a copy of it!?!?!? WHAT??? DO NOT LIVE THERE!!! Oh yeah and I just went through my first witness to a shooting there, don't believe me check out the papers for this month, a guy chasing and shooting at her wife in the middle of the complex.

I lived there just under a year...and broke my lease due to an increase in gang activity,and, of course, Metro (PD) activity. After personally witinessing TWO shootings on the property...I moved the 'heck outta dodge,' as they say. The management lied to me when I first moved in there..they said that they have NO gang activity and virtually no police activity on the property, other than for the 'normal' patrol activities.
They have had many problems in the pool(s)...the one behind the main office and even more in the pool in the back section of the complex. The Clark County health department has closed both pools due to unsanitary conditions...as idiots allow their diapered children to enter the pool, then...when the diaper falls off..well..you get the picture.
I have seen ADULTS urinating in the pool in the rear of the complex..and when I notified the office...they say, "We'll make a note of it...thanks..." and that it. That is when I called the Health Department myself, and what do you know...they closed it! Gee...sucks to be them, huh?
There is a high school across the street from the complex, and as you can imagine...the morning foot traffic of students through and around the complex tends to get a bit hairy...and its TEN TIMES worse after school..especially on Friday after school...and God forbid the occasional football game...THAT is when we had the two shootings at Kings Crossing. Gang area, for sure, my friends...so unless you like the idea of hearing gun shots and worrying about your children playing innocently outside your complex...I would NOT reccommend this place to anyone. Sorry, but its the truth.
