West of Beatty, NV near Rhyolite, NV 702-870-9946 The Goldwell Open Air Museum is a 7.8 acre outdoor sculpture park approximately 5 miles west of the town of Beatty and 120 miles north of Las Vegas. It is a free admission facility, open year-round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It began as a project of Belgian artist Albert Szukalski in 1984 with the installation of his major sculpture, "The Last Supper," which he created in cooperation with several Beatty residents |
