I love this place! They have an amazing Sanctuary!! Go and enjoy yourself!!!

I took my parents from Chicago here and they loved it. I am so happy to see that among the glitz and glamour of Vegas, there is still good natured places to take parents and children. There are over 2,000 birds and a great goat petting zoo. You can also see cows, camels, and more. Take the family or go with your significant other. This is a good date place for a change from the typical dinner/movie. As an outgoing young female, I would be impressed if a guy took me here. You can talk and get to know eachother.

I was over run by birds that had hatched and not having the facilities to care for them properly, I was in search of a santuary for them. I found Gilcrease in the phone book. I was very apprechensive about leaving them there until I arrived and saw what a great service this is the public and to the well being of the animals there. I ended up leaving my 2 diamond doves, 3 budgies, and 12 lovebirds. The entire family felt they were better off and would be great for them socially. The amount of animals there is amazing. They have over 1000 animals in santuary. That sure doesn't say much for society most of them have been abandoned or abused, siezed in drug raids etc. This is a wonderful organization and just as dedicated to their survival. I applaud Gilcrease for what it is doing for the animals. We are returning very shortly with building supplies, dry food, and cages. They need all the volunteers and donations they can get. They dont charge for entry, they only have a can by the door for your kindness to fill. A great experience for the entire family.
