I used to like going to this park only for one reason. Bonzai Bonzai!!! You pick your own plastic sled and shoot down the ramp and hold on for life. Me and my kids loved racing on this. Well we didn't go to Vegas in the past 3 years and went last week just to find out Bonzai Bonzai sled ride is gone and replaced with the evermost dull Dragons Den ride that we could of rode at Raging Waters back in Los Angeles (which oddly had the bonzai sled ride taken out there about 12 years ago!). We found ourselves trying to find something fun but just the average water slides and wave pools you can now find anywhere in the world. If you go on Wet N Wild website you will see there is an "Extreme Slides" and a "Fun for Everyone" section just to let you know that most of the attractions there aren't for adults or kids... it's for freaks! Thanks Six Flags Theme parks for ruining that. If your looking for a water park that your kids will love you forever for taking them to then try an indoor one in the middle of the winter! Fly,drive or walk to one if you must. I took my whole family to Splash Lagoon in Pennsylvania and it was waaaay better than any outdoor one. No sunburn, no 4pm chills, free tubes and plenty of water all year! But if your stuck in Vegas save your money and go to a better hotel with a nice pool to cool off. If you are teen and looking for dates then Wet N' Wild will be great for you!

Wet n' Wild Las Vegas was a extremely nice break from the monotony of Vegas life. I plan to continue returning for many years as I understand thay have a new ten year land lease and will be building a new ride in place of the Bonzai Bonzai. The lifeguards were on task and very polite. My 8 year old was disoriented coming out of the royal flush and the lifeguard jumped in and rescued him with great speed and accuraccy. As a former red cross instructor, I recognize a much more effective method. When my child was hurt a female lead with a cute little cowboy hat helped take him to wet'n'wild's well stocked first aid. The management went out of their way to make the lines shorter and answered any questions we had in a nice way. We felt extremely welcome at this family-friendly waterpark. The food was slightly expensive but delighted our tastebuds and a variety of rides made it hard to leave. Despite complaints I've heard, Wet'n'Wild seems to be one of the better waterparks that palace entertainment has to offer. I would reccomend it to locals and tourists alike.

Wet'n'Wild is a lovely water park. I moved to las vegas early this year and bought my children season passes. They went nearly every day and loved the environment. I myself tried to go once a week. I found the service to be great, though the lifeguards didn't smile much. I thought the food was expensive, but with a hand stamp I went out to eat instead. The season passes are a great price 65.00 for the entire season as opposed to 30.00 a day. I was very pleased with the rides and I understand they may build a new ride as well. With the acception of the bonzai bonzai, I give this waterpark a big thumbs up!

Wet N wild las vegas is the number one place to go, if u have visited it recently u would have seen that the banzai banzai is in the middle of being removed, yes wey n wild has brand new plans for 3 new water slides to replace the spot, but most of all i lvoe wet n wild, this year they have took a few more things into consideration, like keeping it more clean, adding more tubes, working to keep the ground cooler, these are things i love to see, and i cant wait fro there new ride to open. I was just here on May 11, 2003. My god, I didn't stop smiling until I fell asleep that night. The staff needs some work but we did have a few encounters with very helpful people. The rides are amazingly fun. There really weren't too many people there since it's not too warm yet, but there was hardly a line to any ride. The wave pool was relaxing and very entertaining. The slides were extremely thrilling and soaking. I can't complain about this place. I don't get what the other people were thinking. Maybe they're just uptight. I'm going to WnW again this Sunday (5/18) and I'll post a newer review. It's a fun place! Go!

As a former employee of Wet 'n wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, North Carolina, I must say that the Wet 'n Wild LV was a disappointment. After coming from a park with ample presentation, customer dedication and fun, Wet 'n Wild LV was a sad view to see. The park is small, and at many points lacks employee appearence and cander. I will say that if you are looking a place to have your kids spend a few hours (I main two or three, more than that is too much), Wet 'n Wild LV would be good for that. The park is secure and well located on the Strip near the Rivera. But as for in comparison to other parks in the chain, don't allow this park to be the basis of your opinion. Wet 'n Wild EP in North Carolina is worth its ticket price, where as Wet 'n Wild LV really needs coupons because like all things in Las Vegas, it is over priced.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME...or money for that matter. This water park is the absolute worst water park I have ever went to. It is dirty and very unorganized. To go on any of the "good" waterslides you need a blue tube. You cannot rent these...do not let the workers there fool you...like they did us. To acquire a blue tube you have to wait in a very long line and hope that when someone gets off the slide they will hand you one. HA! Fat chance. There are a limited number of these tubes and kids take their tubes from one slide to another...without handing them off. Do the workers there say anything? Nope. Not a word. So basically you wait in line for nothing. You can rent tubes...that are clear but OF COURSE those aren't allowed...except on the lazy river and the wave pool. They had some kind of bike show going on right near the entrance which blocked access to lockers. The place was really dirty and looked old. From what I've heard from everyone that lives there that it will be closing soon...who figured that one???? Save your money and swim in your hotel pool....chances are its a lot more fun.

If you go after 3:00pm it's only 13.50 to get in and all you really need is a couple of hours to get on all the rides. I have been there many times and the lines are always pretty reasonable. The lazy river is great for relaxing and the water park is right on the strip. Nice break from casinos.

This was about the 3rd or 4th visit to Wet N Wild in Las Vegas. I was so dissapointed this time. First of all, the sign out front read June 7 - June 30 10am - 8pm. So when my husband and I went on June 6th around 1pm, we dedided we would wait and come back the next day, June 7th since they were open until 8pm that night. We had a $5 off coupon that you can print off their website for the all day pass which is $26.95, so it would have made it $21.95 per person. However, we also had the entertainment book coupon that was good for half price after 3pm. That seemed like a better deal to us. If we came back on the next day, the 7th we could go for 5 hours for just $26.95 for the both oof us since we would get 1/2 off each ticket after 3pm. We came back on Friday, the 7th and there was a big old sign that said "we will be closing at 6pm today" I asked the lady at the ticket window which it was 8pm like the big sing above or 6pm like the sign posted that day. She said 6pm, it would start the 8pm closing time on Saturday, June 8th. I told her her sign above was wrong but she didn't care. There was no manager to be seen or heard of either. After much argument we decided to go in, only because it would have still cost us more the day before if we had gone, though we would have gotten more time. Once we got there we found out how badly crowded with teenagers it was. The lines were the longest I had ever seen at this park. The wave pool was a disappointment, the waves were nothing more than we could make ourselves. It was jam packed with people and I can just imagine the little ones peeing in it. We were further disappointed to find out that we had to take our aqua shoes off for ever single water slide. We first were told it would scuff the tubes, then we rode the plastic sled ride which had nothing that could be scuffed by our shoes, it looked like it had seen better days, and we still were told to remove our shoes. I didn't trust the walking in my bare feet anywhere in that park. We had heard that the the people/person who owns the new Turnberry place condos next door, bought wet n wild and is going to tear it done after this year because he doesn't want it to be an eyesore for his tenants. After going there and seeing what has happeneded to the place, I can understand why now. Half the teens had tatoos, piercing and many wore their shorts lower than their underwear, which was supposed to be against dresscode policies. What a big difference from 4 years ago when my husband and I had gone there during our honeymoon and had most of the wave pool to ourselves, and never waited in line for a single waterslide ride.
