It would have been a good experience except the projector wasnt working and we were told we had to evacuate. I wish they would have just put on another show, the dinosaurs, the fish...I would have been happy but no, we had to evacuate. Sucked actually. But if it has worked I would have gave a thumbs up and a 10 rating.

This thing has tremendous potential, but some of it's movies don't fully illustrate this.
We enjoyed the "undersea" movie, narrated by Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.
But we really wanted to see "Fighter Pilot," and probably would have enjoyed that one much more.
But, we had show tickets elsewhere and couldn't wait around for the other movies.
However, it was still worth the money.

If you’ve never seen a 3-D IMAX, this is a must-do. The “Sharks” one was particularly good; I felt like I was swimming underwater the whole time. We liked it so much, we came back for "Wild Safari"-- which was good, but not as immersive. 3-D technology has come a long way!

Definitely the best 3D movie I have ever seen. Very immersive, but it will take you a little time to get used to the glasses. We saw the Safari 3D and it really felt like you were there with the people in the movie. Definitely worth the price. For adults and children alike this is a great and wonderful movie and learning experience. If you don't have kids with you and you want to experience this, just pay for the IMAX movie and save your money on the motion simulator rides. Those are mostly for the kiddies. The Tut Museum unless you can get in for free can probably be missed as well as it is very short.

I went to see the haunted house 3D and thought it was really well done,It was scarey but was extremely well done.The visuals where great and was wel worth going to.I'd recommend it to anyone.There was ten of us there and everyone enjoyed it.

Last year we (2 of us) saw the Nascar 3-D show here. It was fantastic. This year we brought 4 friends and saw Jungle Safari 3-D. Well....4 out of 6 got sick to our stomachs at the beginning and had to close our eyes during the whole thing. Not sure what was different this time, I think it was because it simulated floating over the continent and then that darn jumpy jeep ride....
can't recommend this one.

You'll enjoy this theatre. Though the story line was a little corny we really felt like we were "IN" this film (moreso than when we visited other 3-D movies). It was truly an awesome experience. It felt like it ended too soon (as we were having so much fun and wished it could have lasted a little longer for the price).

While I was in Vegas at the the Luxor I saw three IMAX Ridefilms which are shown in 3-D and also include a motion simulator. Overall they were very good. The ones I saw where ReBoot, Dracula 3-D (Haunted Castle), and Search for the Oblesik. The best one was ReBoot and I thought that would be childish and it turned out to be the best one with picture quality, sound, and motion. Next was Search for The Oblesik which was not to bad it had a good story to it but just wasn't as good as ReBoot. On the other hand the haunted castle was short and boring and there was nothing special about it. It was supposed to be scary but it turned out to be just a tour of Dracula's castle. They are probably worth seeing if you like 3-D and motion simulator rides. The best part is that you can see all three movies in a package for 12.95$ per person.

While staying in Las Vegas, or just passing through town on a limited time schedule;
the Luxor is a hotel should you certainly visit for it's architecture alone. Housed in it's enormous pyramid is a great technological innovation called the Imax Movie expeience. "The Grand Canyon" movie subject is awesome! This movie technology takes you into a world few people are able to explore and gives a glimpse of one of this world's greatest wonders! A perfect antidote to all the hectic, transitory action that surrounds you in Las Vegas. This presentatin is short enough to not interfere with your vactation and stunning enough to make your next vacation a week-long Colorado River trip.

We saw the "Haunted Castle" film. I felt that the story was a bit boring and corny, but the effects were really beautiful and impressive, you feel as though you are really there. Be forewarned however, this film uses a lot of first-person views, which may causes diziness for some people, my girlfriend got a little nauseated after the film, but I was OK. Other than that, a really impressive 3D feature and IMAX theater.

Well actually, it wasn't the experience that was bad, it was the movie. Don't EVER see Haunted House or something like that. It was one of the worse movies I had ever seen. I fell asleep, YES, asleep on it. The effects were really spectacular and you felt as though you were in the movie but with that feature it wasn't a good thing. I liked the simulator rides though across the hall. They were fun.
