Absolutely a great visit! I printed out the coupon for a free admission so it cost me nothing but even had I paid the $5, it would be worth it. I think you can find that on their web-site.

Most of the cars are for sale and there is a museum area off to the side with other cars that are just for display. They also have a nice gift shop for the car enthusiast with a wide selection of car books. Other stuff in the gift shop has nothing to do with cars but it was all neat and different things from any other gift shop on the strip that I saw.

They allow pictures of the cars. Plus, this showcase was not crowded, smokey, or noisy so it was a nice retreat.

Getting to the auto collection from the strip is a bit of a maze but well worth it. The elevator was extremely slow in coming and no air on there! Maybe they are working on that part!

Many classic cars in mint condition, and nearly all for sale! Some have only a few original miles, and are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Most cars in the collection were not celebrity-owned. They do have a Nicholas Cage car, and the car Johnny Carson drove to the prom-- with an interesting video commentary by Johnny.

Check Vegas coupon sites for free admission coupons. Print one for every member of your party; it’s not a 2-for-1 but a real freebie. Would not be worth paying full price IMO.

This auto collection has changed 100% from my visit several years ago. It also seems like almost all of the cars are for sale. There was even A sign that said the car collection was no longer A museum. All the cars from World War 2 are now gone! It seems like it is more of A collectors show room with most being for sale. I was told by A employee that cars are always coming and going. Free tip, if you belong to AAA or CAA, show your membership card for free admission.(as of 10/04 at least. It was this way for years though)

Just a pointer for folks who never been here but are considering it: It's NOT free admission to get in! You can however get a FREE PASS to get in (ONE per person, NOT per group!!). These passes are not hard to get but they're NOT distributed at the collection cashier box! You need to get them in the casino, or perhaps through other sources BEFOREHAND! I've been here many times and admit it's great, but always see sad family faces when they are informed it's going to cost them a lot of $$ to enter without passes.

The coupons which are readily available in magazines or on the street make this attraction free. If you are even remotely interested in cars, this is the place to go. We spent 2 hours here. It's wonderful

The Imperial Palace Hotel has a great collection of vehicles. As you are walking along the strip, be sure to stop by. It's a free exhibit, and you can't beat that!

Very interesting. We have seen it several times. I highly recommend it, especially if you can get a free coupon along the strip.

The freebee is easy. Just look for it outside the casino. The casino is looking to get you into their establishment with the free coupon. Also check with customer service as you enter for coupon book.

Great display of many old cars owned by celebrities and not.

Went here during Super Bowl week 1/03.Took advantage of free admission tickets.Great for the gearheads.Plus the cars are for sale too, win and buy a car!!

If you've got a car fetish, bring some tissue. Most of the cars are for sale, and some run over a million bucks. Lots of Duesenbergs--apparently one of the greatest cars ever. Lots of extremely rare, pampered models from all eras.
There is also an ancient bar (closed when we were there)--no slots to be seen. I think the whole place is set up in an old parkade. Interesting respite from the glitz outside.
