We took the dinner cruise, and had a great time. The food was very good, and the service was decent (a little slow, could have been better, but not bad).
I preferred the lunch cruise that I took last year, as during the dinner cruise it gets dark before returning, and the lake is VERY dark and dont get the beautiful scenery. But it was still a good time.

We took the dinner cruise on 6/9/04. The boat is spotless and the crew very helpful. The food was delicious! It was a memorable event and one I recommend to all. If you go to the area and miss the dinner cruise then you are missing a large chunk of your vacation. My brother-in-law got to steer the boat after dinner on the way back to the pier!

Nice cruise but the narration couldn't be heard if you were standing outside on the deck. The sound system needs to be up-graded. It was a cloudy day so everything looked dismal.That's not their fault, of course. At the boarding pier, there was a terrible odor of sewage!

I actually did this cruise back in 1997 (lol) but if nothing has changed, then its well worth the trip. Sit atop the boat if you can and sit back, relax and try and take in the sites around you. Its spectacular, as much of this area is. You won't regret it at all.

Great relaxing 90 minute ride around Lake Mead to Hoover Dam and back on top level with awesome views. Could not really hear the history over the loudspeaker but that didn't detract really from the experience. People were very nice and the bartender provided great service. Very enjoyable- would go again.

Very comfortable boat takes you on a 90 minute tour to as close to the dam as you can get and includes a canned commentary of what you are looking at. The information and geology is quite interesting. The boat has a snack and regular bar and the restrooms are the unusually large and clean. A very positive activity.
