Date Seen: 03/07 - Undecided I saw this show twice on earlier visits, but I was dissapointed this time. Some of the performers lacked some of the irony and humour from earlier shows. Rod Stewart was a dissapointment, while Marilyn and Elton John were awesome and Elvis was pretty good. The show is overpriced now, in my opinion, too. <henrymsc -at- yahoo.com> - USA - Added 03/27/07 - [168.254.226.***] 7599 Date Seen: 02/06 - Good Show Had fun at a solid Vegas show. All the impersonators were very good but the Elvis was tops.Dancers were all hot. <citylife -at- optonline.net> - Bay Shore NY USA - Added 02/10/06 - [69.117.100.***] 6486 Date Seen: 11/05 - Bad Show I had heard so much about this show that I couldn't wait to see it. I am a huge Prince fan and hoped that the show would be great. It was awful! The Prince singer looked like he lifts weights for a living. Prince with muscles? He was a weak singer and "Purple Rain" was hard to listen to. If you like Prince, catch "Purple Reign" instead at Monte Carlo Brew Pub or Mandalay Bay. The rest of the singers were OK. Nothing outstanding. Shania Twain was decent. The Rolling Stones were good but it got old after awhile. Elvis was definitely the high point. The best I have ever seen. Great way to end the show. All in all, not worth it. If you get a great deal (cheap), may be worth the chance to see for yourself. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I wouldn't go again even if I had a free ticket. <ginawestsprenger2002 -at- yahoo.com> - Twinsburg OH USA - Added 04/11/06 - [69.165.39.***] 6636 Date Seen: 09/05 Great Show. <rhorn -at- tricityport.com> - USA - Added 09/20/05 - [68.75.149.***] 5888 Date Seen: 03/05 - Bad Show There was obviously a whole act taken out without explanation so the show only ran about 60 minutes. Three of the five performers were only fair. The wait staff pushed drinks. The casino is a dump considering its location. I could have done a lot better for less money. A major disappointment. <bogey_jim -at- cox.net> - USA - Added 05/23/05 - [68.9.175.***] 5333 Date Seen: 10/04 - Good Show Without a doubt, this is the greatest show of impersonators we've seen -- ESPECIALLY the Elvis impersonator! (Matt Lewis). I saw the real Elvis and Matt Lewis sounds just like the real Elvis! The show was so great, we will definitely be going back to see it next time we are in Vegas! When I take my friends to Matt Lewis' website at www.thekingonline.com they cannot believe what they hear and see! Truly unbelievable! I know I am probably sounding partial here but the entire show was really awesome! Ya gotta go see it!!! <deborah_audrius -at- yahoo.com> - Newburyport MA USA - Added 07/02/05 - [24.34.147.***] 5451 Date Seen: 10/04 Wasn't expecting much for £$30, showroom is a bit tatty/retro, but it was good fun, Elvis clowning thru Viva Las Vegas was cool. <jason -at- autosurelimited.com> - London UK - Added 04/25/05 - [84.67.234***] 5217 Date Seen: 10/04 - Good Show I did not have high expectations for this show, but I was pleasantly surprised. We saw Elton John, Barry White, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley. Everyone, maybe with the exception of Aretha and Barry, looked a lot like the real thing. They all sang very well and the backup singers and dancers were excellent. The show is a good value, and the ticket price includes a drink. I would recommend seeing this show. <sardonv -at- basf.com> - Mt. Laurel NJ USA - Added 11/16/04 - [144.29.1***] 4705 Date Seen: 10/04 - Good Show If I didn't know, I would have thought they were the originals. Elton John fantastic, The Blues brother got the place rockin. The amazing Aretha Franklin a show all buy her self. The price is a bargain for 39.00. We will go again. <stevez49 -at- dr.com> - Milford NH USA - Added 10/17/04 - [207.69.137.***] 4632 Date Seen: 09/04 - Undecided We saw "Elton John," "Barry White," "Faith Hill," "Tim McGraw," "Aretha Franklin," and of course "Elvis." The backup dancers really made the show palatable in my estimation - full of energy & smiles. They looked like they were enjoying themselves while they danced their hearts out for 90 minutes. As for the impersonators, Elton John & Elvis were terrific - Elvis didn't take himself so deadly seriously, and was a real hoot. The other acts left me cold. I'm not into country, so Faith & Tim didn't move me at all. Barry was OK, and Aretha was excellent, except....everybody must like the way she drags songs out with a lot of woa-woa-woa's and iye-iye-iye's except me. To me it's screamin' & hollerin' and I really wearied of it the 2nd time she did it. But that's just me. I wouldn't go see this show again. <lwimmer3389 -at- hotmail.com> - Roanoke VA USA - Added 10/03/04 - [24.254.142***] 4587 Date Seen: 09/04 - Undecided Not sure about this while the artist were excellent Shania, Prince, Elvis,Tom Jones and the show stopping Aretha Franklin what a voice (Blues Brothers we are bored with them now)It lacks sparkle they come on do there bit for 15mins & thats it, Dancers are ok but in need of a good choregrapher. One tip the seating is terrible so be prepared in be sitting on someone's lap. <timsy64 -at- hotmail.com> - Brighton UK - Added 09/13/04 - [194.201.99.***] 4509 Date Seen: 08/04 - Good Show When you have a variety show made up of entertainment impersonators, the strength of the show must be two-fold, the live band and the dancers. Without this infrastructure, this type of show doesn't have a chance. The band is good and the dancers are very good at giving this show a serious dose of energy. The lineup varies from month to month, but August had a very good lineup. Unfortunately the leadoff act, the Shania Twain impersonator, I have no clue how good she may have been since I am not a country music fan. The second act got the energy going in the Legends Showroom, and the Blues Brothers did the Blues. My favorite song was the Ray Charles song from the movie, Shake It. The dancers did a great job doing the many dances in this song, and during the Blues Brothers set it looked like the band really enjoyed the music. Next out was another great act, the Prince impersonator. The music was great, and the impersonator was a pretty good singer. Fourth up was a Tom Jones impersonator. To me he didn't look anything like Tom Jones, and he didn't talk like Tom JOnes, but he was a fairly good singer. The next act was the show stopper, the Arethan Franklin impersonator. She could sing, and sing some more, just like the real Aretha Franklin. She could really improvise, and hold some notes, as the band would shake their heads in amazement at the singer's talent. I don't know if this impersonator looks much like Aretha Franklin at a younger age, but she is extremely talented, better I would say than even Gladys Knight at her show at the Flamingo. Unfortunately, the show got anticlimatic for its final act, the Elvis Impersonator. Well, this is Vegas so I suppose Elvis has to close the show. But he just was only fourth or fifth best in the show in my opinion. If I were restructuring the show, Elvis would open it up, the Blues Brothers would be second, Shania would be third, Prince would be fourth, Tom Jones fifth, and Arethan would close. It is a pretty good August lineup, with each month varying. If you get a chance to see the Aretha impersonator, or the Blues Brothers act, get on over to the Legends and check them out. <pkarnold -at- swbell.net> - Austin TX USA - Added 08/25/04 - [204.65.3.***] 4490 Date Seen: 07/04 - Good Show I go to "Legends" every year when I visit Vegas from Glasgow, Scotland, UK. It has been different every time. Absolutely excellent. Matt Lewis as Elvis is the highlight of the show. Booked again for late June '05 but unfortunately Matt is not playing then. I'm sure the alternative will be just as gool. Highly recommend this for everyone! <jbrown1873 -at- yahoo.com> - USA - Added 06/09/05 - [82.70.48***] 5378 Date Seen: 07/04 - Good Show HAVE SEEN THIS SHOW AROUND 30 TIMES AND ITS STILL A GREAT SHOW. WE GO EVERY TIME WE GO TO LAS VEGAS. TRY IT . YOU WILL LIKE IT. <rcgabby -at- cox.net> - Gilbert AZ USA - Added 02/27/05 - [68.104.179.***] 5109 Date Seen: 06/04 - Good Show This is a pretty good show and the performers are really good at playing their parts. My wife and I were comped the show, therefore, we "really" enjoyed it. As for paying full price, I would not do so, but we prefer a lot more skin in our viewing pleasures, but if you can get discounts then this worth the time and money. <tntowen -at- zianet.com> - USA - Added 06/10/04 - [216.31.14.***] 3368 Date Seen: 05/04 - Good Show As one of the few remaining pre-Mirage-era shows on the Strip - it was the only show we saw where we had to tip the maitre'd for a good seat - "Legends in Concert" more than holds its own. The lineup the night we were there was Donna Summer, Tom Jones, Prince, the Beatles, Aretha Franklin, and Elvis. The impersonators all did fantastic jobs, and the backup dancers, singers, and band were also excellent. If you are interested in an unpretentious old-school Vegas show, this can't be beat. I should point out that the ticket price is a value at about $40 with 1 drink, and you can get a buffet dinner as well for an extra $5 if you purchase a special ticket at the hotel (it was good too). Since half-price tickets are also available through the brokers, and there are children's discounts too, this show can be an even better bargain that what we got. <tomdoctress -at- yahoo.com> - USA - Added 05/30/04 - [204.42.2***] 3124 Date Seen: 04/04 - Good Show Very enjoyable show. We saw Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, the Beatles, Reba, Tina Turner and the show-closer, Elvis. Each performed about 3-4 songs, and what really made she show swing was the supporting cast of dancers which put a lot of energy into the songs. We got our tix at a place called "Tickets4Tonight" which was located in a nondescript little cluster of stores just south of the Aladdin, and paid about $55 for two tix and 2 drinks. <kingfishx -at- yahoo.com> - Harper Woods MI USA - Added 04/15/04 - [68.43.3.***] 2845 Date Seen: 02/04 - Good Show Great show. I saw Legends about 10 years ago and decided to revisit it. I was not disappointed. This time we got to see Aretha Franklin(awesome), Ray Charles(my favorite of the night), The Beatles,Neil Diamond, Reba, and ,of course Elvis. My friend and I got tickets at Tickets 4 Tonight, so it was nice to attend on a half price rate. We didn't even have to tip the Maitre D' for a comfortable booth seating!!! <vegas04861 -at- yahoo.com> - Thomaston ME USA - Added 02/21/04 - [69.39.98.***] 2550 Date Seen: 02/04 Still a fun show, not as good as the old days but nonetheless a well paced show. Good Production. Good value. <scratchgolfg -at- aol.com> - Phoenix USA - Added 02/13/04 - [205.188.208***] 2524 Date Seen: 01/04 - Good Show This is a fun show with excellent performances from the whole cast. It is very up-beat, moves along well and before you know it it is over. The man that did Garth Brooks was his clone except a little shorter ! Everyone was extremely talented. <dgreen15 -at- cfl.rr.com> - Kissimmee FL USA - Added 01/20/04 - [24.165.249***] 2476 Date Seen: 12/03 - Good Show I've seen it 14 times and it is still great. The performers are really good. It has never been the same show twice. This time we saw Garth Brooks, Tina Turner (the least talented of all), Donna Summers, Liberace, Four Tops, and of course Elvis. I slipped them a 20 and we got a booth on the second level, just right of center stage. The best seats we have ever had. We had told his mother about it all summer and she didn't seem impressed at all. For that matter, she wasn't too thrilled about Las Vegas. Oh well, her loss. This definately a show to see. I had $5 per person so the tickets came to $104 plus the 20 for three people. No many shows are that great of a value. <jlc314 -at- comcast.net> - Latrobe PA USA - Added 01/11/04 - [67.165.62.***] 2443 Comment Disclaimer: No attempt has been made to verify or assure the accuracy of the above comments.
