I've just returned from Vegas, and attended the Big Elvis show, every day that I was there. This is my fourth trip in two years, and I make sure to schedule each day so that I can see one of his shows. Pete puts on a fantastic show, and really connects with his many fans, that come back to see him year after year. The show is free, and every seat is filled at each of his three daily performances. Most of his fans would be happy to pay to hear him sing, he has such a dynamic voice. He is a sweet and humble entertainer, and you can't help but fall in love with him. His knowledge of Elvis facts, and the voice that sounds so similiar, makes for an unbelievable performance. He is to be commended on his recent weight loss, as his fans know what a struggle it must be for him. I am wishing him well, with the future pounds that he wants to lose. Hopefully with his weight gone, and his health back, we will have many many more years to be entertained by this sweet and talented man. He also does an impersonation of Louie Armstrong's "It's a Wonderful World", that is one of my favorites. Request it, and you will be amazed, and think you are listening to the original. Anyone going to Vegas that doesn't catch a Big Elvis show while they are there, is really missing out on something special. I purchased a couple of his CD's this time, and now I am able to get the Big Elvis experience at home. I can't wait to return once again though, to see this great performer.

Seeing Pete's show is the highlight of every trip to Las Vegas, it brings pure JOY to hear him sing Elvis' music and he could not be a nicer guy. He is so sincere and knowledgeable about Elvis and the music, it is amazing that he can sing anything requests and do such a great job. I have purchased all of Pete's CDs and love them all. In 2008 I saw the shows in May, September and in between Christmas and New Years - each time you could tell he has lost more weight and sounded better and better each time. Can't wait to come back again!

We were in Vegas on business for several days staying at Wild Bill's. We enjoyed Pete Vallee so much we sat thru 4 shows. He obviously loves singing and the people who hear his wonderful voice love listening. I would recommend his show to anyone visiting Vegas and will always be sure to attend when I am back in town.

You have to close your eyes and listen. You will not enjoy it looking at him singing. He must be 400lbs and actually thinks he's Don Juan. He has a good voice, I wish he'd just put out CDs. :)

If you just listen...it's Elvis..The heart and soul of Elvis comes through with every note Pete sings..Have been going to vegas for years I had avoided this show thinking it was a spoof of Elvis. How wrong I was.. A must see again on our next trip..Excellant presentation of Elvis' work...Congratulations to Pete for losing so much weight...Good luck to you..Also really enjoyed performer who did tribute to Conway Twitty..Again an excellant presentation...Could go on and on...have been going to Vegas since '82...We used to enjoy irish Showband at Barbery Coast..big Elvis much more enjoyable...Have seen lots and this is one of the best..especially since it is free..

Remarkable! I try to get to one of Pete's shows whenever I am in Las Vegas. It is always "refreshing" to listen to songs I grew up hearing on the radio. He is a true talent.

My husband and I visit Las Vegas three times per year, and we never miss seeing Big Elvis. His voice is truly amazing. He is warm, funny, and knows how to connect with his audience. Pete Vallee is a great entertainer. It's the best free show in Vegas! I'd definitly pay to see him!

Pete Vallee is a very enjoyable entertainer. (I cannot believe that this show is free. I would definitely pay to see him.) I’ve been a fan of his for a few years now. I love the way that he phrases his music, and puts his own personal touch on Elvis’ music. His versions of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and “Just Pretend” are a few of my favorites. His voice is very rich and makes Elvis’ music sound fresh and new. He is one of a kind. I have danced up on stage with him during his show many times as an “Elvette” and had a lot of fun! (As far as I’m concerned, once an Elvette, always an Elvette.) His sense of humor also comes out in his show, which makes it even more personable and makes you feel closer to him. He always wants to make sure that everyone has a good time. His fans are across the board. I’ve watched as they flock to him in various ways during the show. I’ve seen grown men as “Little Elvis” shake his hand during a performance and thank him for what he’s doing. I’ve seen women hug him and tell him that they love him. (Or, in the middle of a song, someone will go up and dance next to him for a while.) He even lets fans take their picture with him during the show, which is nice too. He is so nice on so many levels and has got some serious “Audio Mojo” to boot. (The casino New York, New York may have the ESPN Zone, but with Big Elvis, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and Casino has the “Mojo Zone”.) Other entertainers who honor Elvis work to look and sound like Elvis, but there was more to Elvis than met the eye. It’s great that they honor Elvis, but with Pete, part of Elvis lives on in a very unique way that I’ve never seen before. His is a decidedly different approach that is both refreshing and a loving tribute. Yes, I believe that he is Elvis’ son. (If not, then he’s the best case of “Elvis osmosis” that I’ve ever seen.) Quite honestly, it doesn’t matter to me whether he is Elvis’ son or not. I will be his fan regardless. I feel very fortunate to have found him and seen him perform (“in lounge” if you will). Fans are shy but once the music gets started and people go up on stage or dance to the music, the show becomes unique each and every time. No two shows are quite alike. He is definitely a high priority on my list of things to do in Vegas. Every song that Elvis ever sang (as well as other artists I enjoy) are on my list of requests for him. He is a very special person and the fans love him right back for it.

My mother and I absolutely loved this show...so much that we stayed for both performances, even though the cigarette smoke was starting to irritate us. Pete is the ultimate entertainer, and his voice sends chills down my spine and brings tears to my eyes. I couldn't imagine a trip to Vegas without at least one set of Big Elvis!

You must see this show while in Las Vegas. A wonderful throw-back lounge with all the cheese you'd expect. At first you'll laugh, then you'll get pulled into the excellent vocals that Pete has. I dunno about you, but I believe him. I'll be there again 8/07.

Peter Vallee, aka 'Big Elvis' couldn't get any better! Every time I see his show, he just gets better and better! There is so much more to Peter's shows then the Elvis personality he portrays. If you want to hear some really GOOD country music sang by one of the best voices around, you got to check out Big Elvis.
He plays at the Barbarry Coast Mon-Thur at 3 & 5pm. No shows Fri-Sun.

Ten of our group attended the big Elvis show and we were all pleased that we attended. Big Elvis is one big "hunk of love". We definitely would attend his performance again when we return to Las Vegas. He definitely sounded like Elvis and it brought back many memories. While at the Blackjack table we heard Elvis music coming from the speaker system. It was so Elvis I had to ask the dealer, "is this canned Elvis music or is someone singing?". She informed my wife & I that it was in fact, "Big Elvis" singing in the lounge. We immediately left the game and attended the show. Pete Vallee's voice was a perfect match of the real Elvis. We will surely see him again when we return in 2006.

Pete Vallee is an awesome entertainer as he has audience participation throughout his shows. The audiences love him. His voice is the awe-inspiring profound of the Elvis of the '70's. Just Excellent!!! Seen his show 3-4 times. It's that good. Seen other Elvis' in Vegas, none as reflective as Petes.

my wife and myself were told about big elvis by freinds who had watched him the previous afternoon so we decided to pay him a visit....and was not dissapointed!
on entering barbary coast.we could here piped music by elvis and only once or twice i was thinking is that the king or aint it.we made or way to the smallish corner or the casino and he came on stage soon after.the first thing that you notice about pete is his incredible size,let me exlaini am around 220 pounds 5.11 tall with 48 inch chest well the top of this guys legs are wider than my shoulders FACT!.i thought i must see this.
when pete starts singing his elvis songs he grabs your attention full on boy this bolke can sing for fun.bearing in mind this is a free show i highly recomend spending and hour listening to big elvis do his stuff.
my only negative observations were he doesnt move about much just leans up against the front of the stage (but so would i if i carried that weight) and also he sings a variety of songs other than sticking just with elvis.good to compare and listen to but i'm a big elvis fan.all in all glad i saw pete vallee's show and i will certainley be seeing the guy again when i return in june 06

I absolutely LOVED Big Elvis. I read about him on the web and went to his show 10/28 to check it out. I had to go back Fri (my last day) with my camera. I'm going back to Vegas in March and will attend his show every day I can. I swear, I closed my eyes, and I was with Elvis. While the comment from another rater about song content is valid, he bases his song selections on audience requests taken just before the show starts. So best be there early to request your favorite!
His audience participation is great. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. In this day in time, we certainly should take advantage of every opportunity to make us laugh and be happy. Big Elvis does a wonderful job of providing such an opportunity. You can tell from his show how much he loves what he does and you can tell from this rating, how much I loved Big Elvis. Long live the King's son, Pete Vallee.

Tried to see the Big Elvis show a few months ago, but missed it because he was sick, so I made a point to see him this time. I thought his voice was fantastic -- big, booming and in tune (something sorely missing in many Elvii.) Unfortunately, I was in no way prepared for how big he was, and how much it would limit any kind of stage show. He essentially satat the edge of the stage for the 5 or 6 songs that I watched. While the songs were sung well, there were only 2 that I recognized and one wasn't even an Elvis song (Dire Straits' "Walk of Life"?!?) I think Pete Vallee's voice was great but otherwise the show was lacking. The lighting was so bad and dark that it was hard to make him out from the back of the lounge area near the bar -- about 40 feet away. I'll probably stop by and see him again the next time in town, hoping to hear some of the more "classic" Elvis songs.

I love Big Elvis and look him up every time I'm in Vegas. I wouldn't miss his show. It is the best show on the strip and it is free. I would gladly pay to see him. It is pleasant at the Barbary Coast and fun to sit and watch Big Elvis in the lounge. He has the most beautiful voice and is such a sweet wonderful person. I recommend his show to everyone. His merchandise is all very high quality too. Miss Pauline is so very nice and accommodating. Big Elvis does all your requests and sounds so much like Elvis. I come to Vegas from Michigan twice a year and always look him up on the internet and make sure he is still there. I also send all my friends to see him and they all thank me for sending them, saying it was such a wonderful show. Make sure you see him. It is just a wonderful show.

Loved Pete! Big Elvis has a great voice and show. He's a crowd-pleaser and gets everyone involved. Check the show times when you get there (someone who may know the schedule will be sitting by the merchandise counter).
When I went last week, he had played from 3 to a little after 4 p.m. then took a break until 5. I got there at 4:20 and no one in the crowd seemed to know what was happening. Get there early because the seats fill up, but they don't exactly "service" the area. If you want a drink before the show, you need to get it yourself. It's a true Lounge Act.
