Great show....one you don't want to miss. Though it is out of the way compared to the shows on the strip, it well worth the extra effort it takes to get there. Another plus are the blackjack tables while you wait for the show.....more friendly than on the strip too!

I have to scratch my head about this. There are many factors that make a good show. So lets get started.
The Greek Isles was the former Debbie Reynolds casino/hotel/museum. I guess after some hard times it was sold. Isn't everything in Vegas!
This property is on the low end of condo sales pitch I guess. This is now a strange place. The showroom is intimate and gives one a moment to pause what it was like when she was trying to make it a go. Damn if the theater/dinner show type of tables and chairs are uncomfortable for a 1 1/2 hour show. My butt was asleep. The people that seat you are silver hair Tux Mafia look alikes. Too proud to be greeters at Wal-Mart. Some fun there though.
There is a photographer that wants to take your picture like it is a high school prom night and sell them for $15+. I guess thats ok when you are in love and young.......but I'm 53 and was one of the youngest there. Some folks bought them though.
To get to the theater you must go to the box office to exchange your tix that you bought for 1/2 price on the strip. This amounts to about $30 with fees/person. Don't pay more!!! Don't fall for the dinner package. Read other reviews on that. Don't fall for the VIP BS!!
Do not be alarmed about the funny/sad/drunk karaoke in the sad/dirty lobby casino. They are harmless and a bit of a show that I wish I would have filmed for U-TUBE.
Do not be put off by the screaming kids and parents that are being let out of the showroom from the magic show that has been scheduled too close. Got to make a living--right!
Now the show:
Frank-6.5 Sharp voice without the whisky smooth-ok though.
Joey-4.5 This was a stand in for Hackett on 3/22/07
Sammy-3.5 This had to be a stand in as his picture didn't match the poster and the spot was previously rated highly. NOT THAT NIGHT!!
Dino-8.5 I could turn my head and think-WOW!!
Marilyn-7.5 I'd hit it like a Kennedy!!
Summary-go see the show. Don't pay too much, and have a good time. Pass on the $8 drinks. You know what to do before you show up!

Went to the Greek Isles to see the Rat Pack revival show. One commenter was right...the casino (a bunch of slots) was seedy as was the entire lobby area. The showroom was old Vegas and decent. Printed out free meal coupons on line for Yanni's and, surprisingly, the food was palatable and the wait staff nice. The show was OK...not great...but OK. The guy who played Dino had the moves down and a reasonable facimile of his voice. The Sinatra impersonator was fair and didn't do a whole lot to make himself look more like Frank or copy his moves. Could have thrown in a couple of dubie dubie doos and a Joisey accent. The Sammy Davis impersonator was the best, had a decent voice and some good dance moves, but could have used more of a nasal sound and twist his mouth to the side to more closely simulate Sammy. The Joey Bishop character was Sandy Hackett (Buddy's son) and although he didn't look anything or sound anything like Hackett or Bishop he was relatively funny but looked like he was going through the motions. Then again I never saw the entire Rat Pack show live when they were alive so maybe this was an accurate rendition of their "schtick". Not bad for the money. The ushers were old timers who seemed like they had their jockey shorts on too tight. Angry grimaces on their faces and a willing hand out for a tip to get a better seat but, honestly, any seat in that venue is a good one as it isn't too big. Next time I go to see the magic show that proceeded the Rat Pack show...kids are free too.

Original date 7-18-05. Ok, I've read the comments here. First, the Greek Isles casino is a dump even though I won about $50 on the (what else?) Sinatra slot. On the other hand, the showroom is very nice. In seeing a show, people have to keep in mind that they are seeing a tribute show! There is no way anyone could be as great as the real Sam, Dean and Chairman of the Board! The performer's goal is to have an entertaining show that "recreates" what a rat pack show in the 60's was like to the best of their abilities. I have actual rat pack DVD's and CD's and the tribute show was very true to the original rat pack, even to the point I knew what the performers were likely to say next in some cases. I found "Frank" to have great voice even if he didn't look exactly like the original. "Sammy" did an excelent job and his Mr. Bojangles was the best part of his show. Very talented. "Dean" was a little disapointing in the fact that he could have sang more, like "Volare" and "An evening in Roma" and he used the S--- Profanity more that he had to but he had the voice down pretty good. "Joey"? well, he was always, to use his own words from his autobiography, the mouse in the rat pack. Some of his stuff was silly but what else can you do when you are 4th banana to superstars like Frank Dean and Sam? I will say the show could lose the "Marilyn Monroe" charecter. I know she was playing it up for laughs with an elderly man from the audience but she made Marilyn a total bimbo with a room tempreture IQ (on a cold day!). It was a bit of an insult to Marilyn. At least tone down the dumb blond sterio type a little and act like she had a brain! A highlight was after the show when all the stars shook hands with you out in the lobby and thanked you for coming. I've been wanting to see this show for the past 3 years and I was not disapointed! If your not a fan of the rat pack, stay home. If you are a fan, you will enjoy this show keeping in mind you can never replace superstars like Frank Dean and Sam. A great show and a reasonable price!
9-26-05 update. Went back to Vegas with my brother who manages a golf shop for the PGA Convention. Decided to see the Rat Pack again and WOW! They did some new songs but the biggest change was Henry Prago as Frank Sinatra was not performing that night. Don't know the reason but the guy who replaced him was scary! I mean he was letter perfect in his voice and style! I can believe that the real Frank Sinatra was cloned and this is the guy! Wow! I was totally blown away by this Frank! He has to be the 100% best Frank Sinatra impersonator in the world with that voice! As good as the show was in July, I felt it was even better this time. Take my advice, get 1/2 price same day tickets next to the Coke place on the strip and see this show! By the way, after the show it's only a short walk to the Convention Center monorail station if your heading up or down the strip and much better than waiting for a non existant taxi. Buy a $10 all day monorail pass or $25 3 day pass as we did. Much cheaper than cabs all the time.

This is to good of a show to be in a dump hotel like the Greek Isles. The show has some very talented people and was very entertaining. The cast came out and shook hands with everyone after the show and were very friendly. My only complaint was regarding the place it is at. When we left the show there was not a cab in site. We had to walk from the Greek Isles to the strip. That doesn't sound so bad but we were on a very dark street with a few shady characters walking behind us. I was never so happy to see the Stardust Hotel in my life. We should of had the desk clerk call us a cab instead of walking. This show should be at Harrahs, Tropicana or some place on the strip. The talent is definetly there.

if you want to waste your time and your money and go to a dive of a casino then this is the perfect place to go. the once upon a time hotel/casino is now called the greek ilses is a joint. i think its held together by string, the so called rat pack show, well it was so bad that the reaction from the audience was more out of sympathy. not one of the so called enetertainers had a clue of who they were portraying. well, thats not fair the sammy jr. was very good. you could tell he's worked at his craft but the others are not even worth mentioning.
the only person still living thats portrayed in the show is joey bishop and for joey bishops sake i hope he never finds out about this fiasco. better yet for the guy portraying joey bishop he better hope joey bishop does'nt see the show.
last but not least the food was horrible.
we only sat trhough the whole show because we were hoping the desert would brighten things up. guess what. don't eat the desert.
i could go on but it's really a waste of my time to go on how bad this show is.

I really enjoyed this show. We got tickets through a half price outlet and had read good reviews. The Greek Isles has seen better days but the showroom is ok and the staff was friendly. All the preformers were good, and very, very funny, esp. Dean M. and Joey Bishop. The lady doing Marilyn was lovely and did a great skit involving an elderly gentleman audience member that had us rolling in laughter. I think for us baby boomers who did not have the chance to see what the real Rat Pack was like, this is the next best thing. The band was wonderful and even got in on several of the acts! I would recommend this show to anyone who longs for old Vegas and is a fan of the Rat Pack!!

This is a great show . The door man George is awesome with his stories and the show in general is much as it was from the Sands but of course nothing compares to the orginal King 's of Cool . If you have the time go to this show !!!!! It's worth it and this is as close as it get's !!!!

Don't let the location discourage you. The Greek Isles Hotel could use some help, but the Showroom was fine and the show was entertaining and funny. The woman doing the Marilyn Monroe part spent a lot of time "interacting" with an elderly fellow in the audience. Both he and the audience will remember that for a long time! The singing was very good and the full orcheatra sounded great! This is a fun show to see, even if you don't remember the Rat Pack days.

The Greek Island Casino really put me off this show when I went to pick up the tickets. It is way past its best and , although we had got half price tickets, I was prepared to be disappointed. Shouldn't have worried.
The theatre is fine, small, comfortable and intimate and the show is fine. The artistes soon build a rapport with the audience that re-creates the days of the real Rat Pack. They play their parts brilliantly especially the Joey Bishop actor who is genuinely funny.
I've seen the Rat Pack show running in London, UK, and this is at least as good. The Sinatra in London is better - but everyone else in Vegas outshines the Brits!
Recommended highly, especially if you can get half price tickets

first of all, when you can buy a show ticket for half price or 2for1, i should have known something was wrong when i bought them. even at half price it wasn't worth it. the portrayels of the rat pack were fair at best and the guy playing joey bishop should find a day job. on top of it all it's in a hotel called the greek isle and the cab driver couln't even find the dump

Our friends own a timeshare here in Vegas and called us about this show that was promoted at some sort of breakfast at the timeshare property. They thought it sounded great and the tickets were reasonably priced. We were a little hesistant because it's at the Greek Isle; but decided to join them. Don't let the location make you change your mind - you will miss a great show! The showroom was beautiful and we felt we were back in a showroom in Vegas in the '50's. The food was good and the show was absolutely worth every dime. The singing is great, the cast is extremely funny and, as happens when you are truly enjoying something, the time flew by and it was over before we knew it. We will bring any visiting family and friends to this show from now on. The value is super for Las Vegas and you really feel like they want you to walk away happy. Also, as we were leaving we saw another line up and asked if there was "another showing" and found out that after that show is "The World's Greatest Magic Show". We decided to grab tickets for that and go back in - what a pleasant surprise! You don't watch one magician for the duration, but many and one guy even made it snow! Don't miss either of these shows when you visit Vegas.

Funny reading everybody's comments... very, very true! My girlfriend and I booked the dinner show from our room at the Paris, not knowing what the Greek Isles was or what we were in for. We showed up and the place was such a dump, we desperately tried to get our money back before the show to no avail. I was miserable and angry, nonetheless out the dough, so decided to gamble to kill time. Right up until the bank of slot machines I was playing SHUT OFF mid pull! We sat down to dinner, which was HORRIBLE. I mean HORRIBLE. DO NOT get the dinner tickets. But then the show started, and so did one of the best nights we've had together. The show was great. Maybe not dead on for the entire cast, but extremely entertaining and a great night. In fact, I found this message board while looking for tickets for our next trip next month!!
GO SEE IT - but skip the terrible, terrible dinner and slot machines.

Hello,
My friend and I attended the show on Thursday May 6th, 2004. They guys who played Frank, Dean, and Joey were very good. You could have led me to believe that it was actually Frank on stage and Dean and Frank had a great relationship with each other on stage just like the actuall Frank and Dean would have had. The guy playing Dean was very comical and had an awesome voice (just like Dean Martin!) The actor playing Joey had a bit of a cold but nontheless was very funny. The person who played Sammy was good with the tap dancing and manuerisms of Sammy. However, when he sang, he just didn't sound like Sammy to me. The woman who played Marilyn was good but she just wasn't breathy enough when she was singing. It was also hard to hear her at times. Again the people who played Frank, Dean, and Joey were fantastic and really have the part down. Great show overall. Great job to the actors playing Frank, Dean, and Joey!!!

I attended the show on May 6, 2004 with a friend of mine. We both enjoyed the show. I especially enjoyed the gentelmen who played Dean Martin. To me he was Dean, suave and very good looking. He had a great voice and acted the part very well. I also enjoyed Frank and Joey. The portrayers of Sammy and Marilyn had a lot to be desired. I did not find their impersonations very convincing. Sammy did not sound at all like the original and although the person portraying Marilyn looked alot like her, she didn't have the "little girl" image that Marilyn projected. All in all the show was great and the actors protraying Dean and Frank made me feel like I was back in the days of "The Rat Pack".
