(Sorted by date of seeing Elton John, latest date first.) If you have seen Elton John, please ADD your own comment. Date Seen: 04/07 - Good Show I have liked Sir Elton John since I was a kid in the 70's. I think that "Crocodile Rock" was one of the first 45's I ever bought. Anyway, on to the show. When I bought my tickets they mentioned "adult material". I scratched my head wondering just what kind of "adult material" would they have. I was very surprised to see still pictures and movie footage of topless women as well as some inflatable objects I had never seen before. It is his show, so he can do what he wants to. I'm certainly no prude or anything, but I wasn't expecting to see that. I still liked seeing him play his piano and sing the songs I loved since childhood, and he did make a few Celine Dion jokes. It's a good show if you are an Elton John fan but I guess take the stuff on the video screens and the inflatable objects with a grain of salt. <fuhr_fan -at- yahoo.com> - USA - Added 04/10/07 - [12.74.142.***] 7613 Date Seen: 12/06 - Good Show Okay, it's Elton John and he's brilliant. I'll admit that the show reminded me of how much I'd enjoyed his music, but, if you love him still, save your money and buy a few albums. He did (or with that wildly distracting and overblown backdrop, I should say "over-did") maybe a dozen songs. The piano is red. I began to realize that the color reflects the mood and intent of the evening: one endless, overblown valentine to EJ, signed by you, designed to seperate the fan from $175 for bleacher seats (bring a LARGE telescope). How lovable is this guy? Don't bother to ask, he spends more of the night telling you how much than he does singing the songs that might give you reasons to believe him. You have 350 bucks for a night's entertainment? Don't waste it here. <whatmechip -at- hotmail.com> - IN USA - Added 03/20/07 - [67.176.209.***] 7590 Date Seen: 10/06 - Bad Show One word: DISTURBING If you closed your eyes & just listen to the music is would have been OK. I hope Elton's head is in a better place than the production portrayed. If not, too bad for him! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone... <vkinahan -at- aol.com> - Aurora CO USA - Added 10/16/06 - [207.200.116.***] 6967 Date Seen: 04/06 - Bad Show Don't waste your money. Bad show. Don't know how they figured out some of the props for certain songs though. Glad to see a legend in person. Kudos to TicketMaster as I messed up on the ticket order and they straightened it out for me over the phone. Got better seats in the end anyway. The only complaint is the seating arrangement. If you are a tall person or have bad knees, the distance between the rows of seats is very small so you might want to request an isle seat. <jksports1 -at- verizon.net> - WA USA - Added 04/20/06 - [134.121.86.***] 6656 Date Seen: 03/06 - Good Show Good show. Elton seems a little bored, but gave a good show.. do not bring children. lots of boobs and sexual things going on. He played a little over and hour and a half. All good songs. Not one bad one. Pricey. <cranberrysunset -at- hotmail.com> - Atlantic City NJ USA - Added 04/03/06 - [66.37.54.***] 6625 Date Seen: 02/06 - Good Show Elton knows how to entertain and that was what he did.He played for 2 hours, didn't skip a beat and delivered exactly what every one wanted. There is not a bad song in the set and even if you are not a big fan it is worth a visit. His singing style has changed and the high notes are not there, but he clearly knows his vocal limitations and the songs still sound great. His piano playing is just flawless, vibrant and exciting. The band are very good too. The audience even got on stage for one number. If you want to participate get a seat downstairs,If you want to see the show without people dancing about in front of you get a balcony seat The show elements, videos and inflatables were for me not important. The music was just the best.Well done Elton.Go and see it!! A word of caution on the Colleseum as a venue, water is $5.00 for a small 10 cent bottle and the other drinks were equally expensive, naughty pricing indeed.Water should be free in a concert where you are paying $200 plus for a ticket. <anonyimouse -at- aol.com> - London UK - Added 02/04/06 - [195.93.21***] 6481 Date Seen: 09/05 - Bad Show Previous comment made in error.... <robgabor -at- cox.net> - Las Vegas NV USA - Added 09/11/05 - [68.227.41.***] 5828 Date Seen: 07/05 - Good Show One of the best f-ing concerts I've ever seen. He may not have the voice for the high notes, but he can still play the F out of the piano. The songs, props, LED screen, neon, everything was just magical and great. I say kick out Celine and make him permanant instead. <curtishart -at- charter.net> - Fort Worth TX USA - Added 08/05/05 - [68.184.185.***] 5575 Date Seen: 07/05 - Good Show I saw Elton on July 27th. It was the most AMAZING concert I have ever seen, well worth the $250 we paid per person. I would and probably will see him again. The music/sound was the perfect level. I had been warned that it was very loud. It wasn't. The videos behind Elton were Extraordinary. I have never seen anything like it. The video that went with "Daniel" was especially emotional. I will never be able to listen to that song the same way again. I highly recommend this concert. You will not regret one moment. <kwieman -at- hotmail.com> - North Muskegon MI USA - Added 08/04/05 - [67.167.168.***] 5559 Date Seen: 02/05 My dream was to see Elton and my dream finally came through in Feb, 2005. Much to my surprise, I hated the show. This show was disgusting. I know that the show was in Vegas but there was no need for the filthy nude movie clippings along with the blow ups. There was no need for such filth. Elton is a great piano player and singer and this concert could have had "class". I know that Elton is different but this was uncalled for. For being knighted "Sir" he sure has no "class". This is definitely a show for adults only and no children. For what I paid for tickets I could have gone down the street a little further, saw the same filth and got all of that much cheaper. Will never attend another Elton John concert and I will also let other people know the same. Why waste your money on such filth. I would rather throw the money in slot machines. I would have had more fun. <KATHLEEN.M.SMITH -at- BOEING.COM> - Glen Mills PA USA - Added 04/26/05 - [130.76.96***] 5220 Date Seen: 02/05 - Good Show What a great show. We saw Elton on Sunday, 2/20/05. He definitely gave us our money's worth. Although we had the "nosebleed" seats, we had a great view of the stage. The entire production was well designed and executed, including video and props. <billy_j843 -at- hotmail.com> - USA - Added 02/27/05 - [65.24.145.***] 5103 Date Seen: 10/04 - Good Show I saw Elton John from the second balcony. I thought the show was very entertaining, although Elton has clearly lost a step from his prime. The videos that accompanied the show were okay, but unnecessary. But, I guess stars are entitled to do some complaining about how hard their lives are. Although the videos did contain adult themes, they were far from offensive. Overall, I thought the show was worth the price, as you are in Las Vegas and the cost of other entertainment is on the same price level. All in all, a pretty good show. <cn.abelson -at- verizon.net> - Salem MA USA - Added 07/08/05 - [151.203.112***] 5479 Date Seen: 08/04 - Good Show I believe this show is the best on the strip. In my opinion the ticket price was worth every penny. The show, props and videos to the song selection were awesome. I wanted to see the show when I visited in 2005, but it was dark I hope the show is still running for my visit in 2006. <dessaup -at- uc.edu> - West Harrison IN USA - Added 04/04/05 - [129.137.239.***] 5173 Date Seen: 03/04 - Good Show Superb, an absolute legend on top form.
