Date Seen: 02/07 - Bad Show
This is the worst show ever. I am entering a comment here only to help others avoid this trap. If paying 40-50$ to get yourself to forcefully participate and cheer John XXX is your sense of fun, please go ahead. Some volunteers, who didnt play along with the hypnotist were sent back. Other volunteers, who liked to follow the hypnotist's instructions and keep the act going until the end, were allowed to sit on the stage until the end. Some of these volunteers seemed to have fun being in the spotlight, but i saw some volunteers who survived the entire show filled with resentment and humiliation. I read about hypnosis when i was a 15yrs old and it reminded me that nothing has changed since then. if you act according to the hypnotist, you are hypnotised and a good candidate for hypnosis. if you are waiting for the magic to happen on you, and it doesnt, and you reveal that it doesnt seem to working, then you arent a good candidate for hypnosis. There is a reason there were only 3-4 rows of people with 10 people in each row. I was shocked when i entered this venue. The place looked half as small as dance clubs in freakin Minneapolis. It was full of out of town scapegoats like me. And if you are a sane guy, who doesnt use the f-word in every sentence, then you wont find anything funny about this John guy.

Date Seen: 05/06 - Good Show
this was the first hypnosis show that I have attended...Michael Johns is the performer and he does a terrific job getting the entire audience involved...I was nervous about being singled out or "picked" to be a part of the show, but that is not the case at all - he only asks for volunteers, never selecting anyone...Michael is a very personable gentleman and was nice enough to give us VIP seating(it puts you in the front 4 or 5 rows of the lounge)...I definitely recommend this show to everyone(except for the kids due to content & language)...I understand that they are knocking down the Stardust sometime in the near future so keep track of where this show goes and do yourself a favor & check it out!
