I think this show can be summed up by the statement "We kept checking our watches every 15 minutes to see when it might be over". It certainly is not the worst show we have seen in Vegas but it's a long way from the best. It moves way to slow and becomes boring quickly. The best part of the show was before the show, which featured some pretty funny stuff. The tickets were comped so the price was right but we would have been pretty upset if we had paid for them.

Very good show, hard to describe in words, but very entertaining to see and hear. Good ticket prices with the SMARTER40 code online.

You have to have a certain sense of humor to enjoy the antics of BMG, but if you do, this is a great show to go to, for both adults and kids. There is sort of an innocent/visitor from another planet vibe that the guys give off that is hilarious. There's a lot of noise, mess, color and a fair share of audience participation, so you need to be prepared for it. This is something you won't see in Des Moines (maybe because no one there might go to it) but for anyone looking to step out and see something different, this would be a great option.

I have seen this show twice and enjoy it everytime. Is it a it a little pricey? Yes but so is Vegas, and getting worse... Its a show for your senses, enjoy it for what it is.

I love Blue Man Group. This is one of the best shows on the strip but it isn't for everyone. It's a show I'll never get tired of and I LOVE going every time. There is a lot of loud drumming and that's why I wouldn't suggest it for young children but teens would love it! It's a very different show so people that aren't very open minded may not enjoy it. It's hard to describe but totally worth seeing!!

It had some great parts and the big screens helped with balcony seating.

"The BLAH-Man Group" - That's the real name: We just kept waiting for the part that was supposed to be so amazing... and then the show suddenly ended!

My wife and I LOVED this show. Very funny and excellent band and music overall. Two weeks later and we are still talking about it. Beautiful visually, perfectly timed, and wonderful audience participation. Everyone that we talked to after the show loved it too, and there were hundreds of people waiting for autographs later (recommended!). I have to wonder who would give them a bad review?!?

Clean entertainment. Fun, loud, inventive, but two of the three of us liked it, one found it annoying. It's quite expensive in Las Vegas, but probably worth going to. How's that for a mediocre review?

This Show Was Outstanding. Unfortunately for those rating this show below mine are more than likely in their 50s plus. Yes the music is loud... What would you expect from a Rock Concert. They tell you when you come in the door that loud music, and bright lights and strobes will be used. This was the best show We attended this trip. Also the show is ten times better if you get pulled on stage as i did!!!

My family and I attended this show in Dallas on 10/14/06. I have to completely agree with what the person said below me. I was completely bored with the show and the guy singer was so depressing. It felt to me like it should have been called, "Bad band no one has ever heard of featuring a little of the blue man group." I looked around and saw so many familys with children at the show and felt sorry for them because it was my impression that the blue man group was supposed to be a suitable for children group, but I wouldn't put any children through that show, ever. The only time I found the show to be entertaining was when they weren't playing music which was about 5 minutes out of the 2 hours I stayed. This show was definitely not worth the money and I hope people that read this do not waste their money on this show. I had to walk out of the show early and noticed that I was surrounded by people who left early and were just as dissapointed as I was.

Saw the Blue Man group show in Dallas on 10/14/06 and what a disappointment it was. The videos were depressing and not for children and the show was BORING!!! We tried to stick it out because we paid alot for the tickets but we finally just got up and walked-out. On the way out I asked an attendant if I could get my money back because it was the worst show I had seen in many years and she shook her head "no" but then smiled and nodded in agreement. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOW!!!!

Oh my dear lord, this a a HORRIBLE band that uses three blue guys as a gimmick to push their mediocre
music using distractions such as text messaging and basically 3rd rate karaoke screens. The jokes you
may laugh at are on you, the audience. This may be the first show I would sue to get my money back. We
walked out shaking our heads with so many others. DO NOT SEE THIS SHOW, if you ignore this review, you
deserve to be had.

Boring show. Definitely not worth the money. I'll have to admit I didn't think it would be very good but it was much worse than I thought. Not at all funny. The only person laughing was a drunk.

I've wanted to see this show for years but have been put off by the price - on our visit this year we decided to see it as we might not go back to Vegas for a few years - it was worth every cent! It was a fantastic show and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We were laughing right from the start, so much that our faces hurt. The music was excellent and we were tapping our feet throughout. We would go back and see this again.

I dont understand how so many people can think this is such a wonderful show. I thought it was Trash
and a complete waste of time and money.

Suitable for children? I didnt think this show was suitable for anyone. I saw the 7:30 show on 8/5.
While watching this I kept looking and my watch and realized that I could be better spending my time
doing something else. I did something I've never done at a live performance before, I got out of my
seat and walked out. In my opinion it was just a bunch of stupid, adolescent foolishness with no
redeeming or entertainment value. I've found dancing monkeys more entertaining. Funny? I chuckled
once in half of an hour. Maybe missing the pre-show made all the difference but if a performer NEEDS
the audience "warmed up" in order for their audience to be entertained just how creative and
entertaining can they be??? I have seen several stage shows in Vegas over the years and there are many
better shows for a lot cheaper price.
Also, I tried to get a refund on the tickets and was refused. FIgures! Save your money and go see
another show like Splash, the Volcano at TI, or the Hoover Dam.

Best show around! Bar none.

We love this show! Great music with lots of percussion. Fun comedy bits. It's amazing what stories and emotions the 3 Blue Men can convey with just their eyes and body language.
This show is for people who like a rock-ier style of music and can appreciate performance art. Go with an open mind and have fun.

If you have a problem with the volume level then grab a pair of the (free) earplugs that are in the big bins at each theatre entrance.

Just a reminder - bring a camera as the band and Blue Men appear in the lobby for a meet-and-greet at the end of the show.

My husband and I went to this show because someone he knew recommended it, but we didn't care for it at all. It was mildly entertaining, but absolutely not worth the ticket price. The music is extremely loud, enough to feel it in your chest. There is some humor, but it's not nearly as funny as any of the other shows we saw (Vinnie Favorito, Mac King, Improv, Second City). I don't understand what people find so appealing about this show. We're in our 40's--maybe young people enjoy it more. I could not recommend this show to anyone though.

I am "Over 50" and I can tell you we loved this show. It was such a good time. We had front row seats and yes it was alittle pricey for 6 adults, but we were all glad that we were able to see it. We would definitely see it again in the future at Vegas.
We did also go to their show in St. Louis Missouri, but as expected, it was definitely not the same atmosphere or effect as Vegas. If you go, make sure you see the "Blue Man Group" in Vegas.
We are taking another trip to Vegas in April and are going to see the Circa Soleil Mystere production because we have heard raves about it. If it is as good as "Ble Man Group" we will be more than satisfied! A+++++++++++++++++

We loved this show. We thought it was one of the best shows in Vegas. We have talked about it to all of our friends. In fact they are coming to atlanta georgia and we are buying tickets for our whole family to go. This is a must see show in Vegas.

Saw them on Memorial Day 2006. What a GREAT show!!! High tech, low tech and everything in between. Laugh out loud funny one minute, rockin' out loud the next.

It isn't a cheap show, my orch. seat was $126, but the production quality make this "The Show To See in Vegas" and a real value, in my opinion.

Almost the same as when at luxor. A few new bits. Very loud, but entertaining. If you have seen blue men, you don't need to go back because you already know what is going to happen, and it takes the fun out of it. If you have never been, go!!!!!!!

Good show but not a great show it can get pretty loud in the theater so if you don't like loud noises look somewhere else.

Without a doubt the best show in vegas. Having seen both o and celine dion, both of which i highly recommend, this show tops the lot. Was unsure when we got the tickets what to expect but had heard nothing but great reports so decided to give it a try. So glad we listened, the show is fantastic. Its incredibly funny and incredibly unique. I would agree that it doesnt appeal to everyones taste but if you like the wacky and unusual spend your casino winnings on this show you certainly wont regret it.

I cannot believe some of the comments on the Blue Man group - Our family is a good cross section of Ages - 44, 15, 14 and 9 and we all (ALL) loved this show - great music, great interaction and a great visual feast. My 9 year old Son was giggling so loud, my stroppy teenage kids were wowwed - My wife and I thought it was great - The only thing I have seen which is better in Vegas is Mystere.
If you like good music, visual comedy and a feeling off being alive see this.

While planning our trip to Vegas my hubby & I were undecided as to what show we would see. I wanted to see Celine Dion but hubby didn't like the price of the tickets. So we settled on the Blue Man Group (my choice). We thought it would be artsy and high-brow or something only people in their 20s could enjoy. What a nice surprise! I read some negative comments but my opinion is GO SEE THE SHOW! Even my husband complimented me on picking a great show (he's not one for shows). I don't recommend it to young kids, just teenagers and above. It's worth the money!

ever see Blue Man on Leno? SAME AS THE VEGAS SHOW, but still really fun

Loved it! Loved the music and the guys were so funny without ever saying one word. Will go back the next time we visit Las Vegas.

The show was a very enjoyable experience. While the humor was very juvenile and not very sophisticated but it nevertheless left me in times with tears in my eyes. The show lasted almost two hours but seemed to be over very quickly. This is a great show to take the kids to (which would be easier to do if the tickets were a bit cheaper).

Outstanding! This was the best show we saw during our trip to Las Vegas (outside of the Grand Canyon).

We saw this show in 2001 at the Luxor. This is about as different a show as you can get. The Blue Men do not talk but their body mannerisms are all you need to get the routines. They are masters at percussion and their accompaniment band was excellent. The end of the show has a strange twist of audience participation. You have to be there to understand. It is a very modern production. We enjoyed it very much.

Probably the greatest tourist ripoff on the strip. Three no talented guys wearing blue rubber masks performing acts that could only appeal to someone totally strung out on crack. I have to congratulate the promoters of this show for actually get the tublic to believe this show is worth seeing. Believe me, it truely sucks.

Worth every penny and we will return to see them again!

I was taken as a surprise by my husband of 20 years. He knew I wanted to go but he was not interested. It was very fun and he enjooyed it as well. I love percussion and this show delivered. I didn't realize they actually played recognizable songs on PVC. The Blue Men's faces were very animated. I liked the audience participation and when the Blue Men ventured into the audience. We were on the 6th row but the back of the auditorium received special attention too. Being covered in crepe paper at the ending was fun. I can't wait to take my kids.

Lots of fun, great time. Honestly, no point in seeing it again.

Great show. Highly recommend it. Word of caution: don't sit in the front thre rows. The stage is fairly high and you won't get a good view of everything. This show ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a pretty good show, although I think it was a bit overpriced compared to what else is out there. So many people told me the show was awesome I was expecting to be blown away; I was a bit disappointed, but still came away feeling like it was worth my time.

This show does not live up to all of its hype. I kept waiting for the really good stuff, and it never happened. There are a few laughs to be had and the guys are fairly tallented, but let's get real here this show is worth $40 tops. I had bad runs at the gaming tables that didn't leave me feeling as empty as this show did.

If you like to laugh and poke fun at a group of funny guys, you will love this show. I have been going to Vegas twice a year for the last twelve years and have seen hundreds of shows. I am not a gambler, and my sole purpose of going to Vegas is for the non-gambling entertainment. I heard kids laughing all the way through this show, so I would not hesistate to bring mine next time I go to Vegas with my family. Also, something you do not see too often after a Vegas show, is that the Blue Men provided the audiences with autograph and picture taking sessions! I will certainly see this show again!

The show repeats itself gazillion times (drums, drums, drums, ok....drums with different lights, drums with different liquids, drums with different heights, drums with different size, drums with a different light angle, drums gallore.....) I had (as well as my wife and parents) to had my ears plugged with my fingers to minimize the NOISE but that did not help with the resounding pounding vibrations on my chest wall..) The show is completely uninspired....looks like some punk was beating the drums in New York side streets, somehow was painted blue, and threw up on his drum....and still somehow made to Vegas...ouch....ouch...I have seen most of the shows in Vegas (10 year resident of Las Vegas) this is the only that I wanted MY MONEY BACK....... DO NOT SEE THIS GARBAGE......

A show for the eyes and ears! Sensational! Entertaining! Go with an open mind; plan on seeing something oh-so-different and enjoy it. Well worth the $100/ticket. Musicians were great and their black light painting visually stimulating.

Art will find its own audience. Blue Man Group is a musical, artistic and comedic work of art. Some (see other posts) will find it loud, strange and not worth the money. Others (like us) will find it a wonderfully creative and innovative show whose fresh approach to entertainment is worth the cost. BMG is a very audience involving presentation and does not stop for intermssion during its hour and 45 minute running time. You never know what is coming next. My wife and I are both 60 and we thought this show was top-notch. I put it in my top five list of Las Vegas shows: "O", Mystere, Blue Man Group, Celine Dion, with "We Will Rock You" and Clint Holmes tied for fifth. Just below this shows are: George Wallace, Ronn Lucas, Mac King and Danny Gans.

The price point positioning is absurd; it's hardly on a par with the other top of the line
production shows such as "O" or even the 'in one' Danny Gans. Blue Man Group would
be a decent $45.00 to $55.00 ticket value, although at that, the show is very uneven.
Slow or dull pieces detract from the inspired. In my estimation, the production would be
much better served in a much smaller venue. Expectations were high, but we left feeling
cheated. At close to $100.00 a seat it is vastly overpriced.

I agree with the others.
1) At $100.00 per ticket, it was WAY overpriced. 2) We are in our late 40's and although I loved the loud percussion I noticed that the younger crowd were the ones who truly enjoyed the show. 3)Show d-r-a-g-g-e-d on...
4) Most importantly, if you are older like us, you need to sit pretty close to the stage. The Blue Man Group are mimes and communicate with facial gestures etc. If you can't see the gestures, then certain parts of the show you will jsut miss out on. Some of it was funny & cool, but for the most part I don't think I would recommend it.

This was a very entertaining show and I would recommend it highly. My wife and I had 2nd row center seats, and the seats were great, but would not pay the extra again. You would be better off for visual purposes to set back a little more to take in the whole stage.

I fell asleep....enough said. It was boring and stupid. I have no idea why anyone would find this enjoyable. The best part was the end, where sheets of toilet paper was thrown over your head! Don't waste your time, or your money on this show!

Blue Man Group is definately different and fun. I personally think it's the best show in Las Vegas. I am not much of a fan for typical cheesy vegas shows with topless showgirls, lame comedians, caged animals, and aging singers, so this is the only show I would like in vegas. Blue man is hip and artistic. I've seen it twice and both times were great,the second time was even better because I got them to announce my bf's birthday on the led monitors pre-show and it was a big suprise for him. I don't know what the person is talking about when they mention vomit??? I must have missed that. lol. It utilizes almost all your senses and leaves you with a feeling of wonder and elation. The music, visuals, comedy are all fantastic.
If you are looking for something more classic cheesy vegas than this might not be the show for you, but if you love music, art, and feeling good...than you must go.

*I am in my 20's so that might be part of my interest in the show, but my bf is closer to 50 and he loved it also. He says it was the best show of his life.

Here's a refreshing change of pace. It's a bit lengthy for Vegas at 1 hour and 45 minutes, but the time seems to fly by. "Performance art" is indeed the best way to describe it, yet it's not pretentious or inscrutable. It's loud - they have complimentary earplugs available in the lobby for a reason - but for those looking for something uproariously funny and upbeat, it's a must. Great showroom too.

Hard show to describe. Percussion-based...kinda...lol!! Excellent time!! Especially for the younger crowd (10-35). The fact that it is interactive to some extent is what makes it one of my favorites. Seats good all around. Nice audience involvement, wonderful ending. Recommend to all. Run and see

I thought this show was GREAT one of the best I have seen (and I have seen alot of good ones! ) Sat in the 4th row centre in the "poncho" seating great view, my 5 year old had a great time watching. I thought is was awsome, and I wish/hope that they come to Canada one day! Amanda

This show is suitable for anyone. The greatest thing about this show is that the men do not speak so it is a different kind of comedic show that even a deaf person or people who don't speak the same language would enjoy. The music gets really loud at times but it a great energy booster. Me and my husband was seated in the row right after the poncho section which was perfect because we didnt get any paint on us. I would recommend this area of the theater..you get the same view and enjoyment with out the mess. GREAT SHOW!

This is an unusual show with some very entertaining moments and some annoying and painfully long segments. The actors are very expressive mime who are successful in communicating humor and emotion throughout much of the show. A segment where they shoot ping-pong balls a long distance is strange but entertaining. They play percussive musical instruments made from plastic pipe, which is kind of cool, and pound on paint-filled drums, which is OK but not exceptional. Some other segments are just simplistic and dull high school humor. They ended the show by throwing huge rolls of toilet-tissue type paper over the audience. To me that was pointless and annoying. I would never go again, but they are different enough from the standard fare that I do not regret seeing them at least once.
