silly, shallow, no purpose to this waste of time trash

If you are someone that sits at home and laughs your butt off to "Leave it to Beaver" reruns on Nickelodean then you will enjoy this show. For the rest of us this show is torture. I needed booze to tolerate this performance - alot of booze.

No doubt the family can sing but the little "G"-rated jabs they take at each other seem forced and more noteably unfunny. Most of the people they imitate are from the 60's, 70's era which will appeal to adults but not to kids (limiting the shows appeal to an even smaller crowd).

The Scintas are really proud of their family bond and stress about a thousand times how much they love each other and their dear departed parents. Some people find that cute and part of the shows appeal - I find it nauseatingly smug.

Oh - and the lead singer really needs to get over how cute his baby sister is. Dude, she's 45 years old. But she is kinda hot - I'll give him that. If the Scintas want to make this show even remotely tolerable they should have her show the audience her rack.

I have been going to Las Vegas for over 25 years, and have seen shows of all kinds. The "Laugh Out Loud with the Scintas" show is one of the best I have ever seen. It is what a Las Vegas show should be, funny, great music, great comedy. The interaction between the people onstage is really fantastic. Frank is a true entertainer, top notch and he can rub elbows with Dean and Frank, and compet with the best. Top notch show that everyone should consider, its what a Vegas show used to be, it will put a smile on your face, and you can meet them afterward! I give em an A+

This is a show I would highly recommend to anyone. Very talented people good clean entertainment.

Saw the Scintas for the second time just before they closed at the Rio. They put on a lively, fast paced show that is both entertaining and enjoyable. Each performer is talented in their own right, and they each shine when given the spotlight. I don't know what Frommer's Travel Guide has against this show, I found it to be very entertaining, and I think it would be enjoyable for about any adult age group, probably more so 40+ years of age. I hope they do well at the Sahara, I would see them again.

I saw the Scintas May 12, 2006 at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY. I knew they performed at the Rio, so I was interested to see them.

They were great! The show was better than I might have expected after reading this forum. I cried when Frankie did "The Godfather" on piano. His story about his father was too close to home.

I'll be back to the Rio in 6 weeks... hope to see a good show there.

Didn't know what to expect when I finally went to see this show. What a pleasant surprise. It was heart warming, funny and very, very entertaining. I think everyone could relate to the sibling rivalry thing. I know I could, coming from an Italian family, too. Don't miss this one. It's pure entertainment and real talent. Highly recommended.

I thought parts of the show were very corny. For a buy one get one free it was OK. If I paid $66 each I would be upset.

This was our second time seeing the Scinta's show. Saw them the first time four years ago (I think they were at the Hilton then). The show this time was just as good as the first, maybe even better, and now in their own well deserved theatre. Extremely talented family with a solid Vegas top quality show. A definite show to be seen more than once!! If you're looking for quality entertainment without gutter language and subjects, this is the one.

My wife and I saw the Scintas for the 3rd time and we came away with nothing but great things to say about their show. They are unbelievably talented and extremely funny! We laughed throughout the entire 90 min. Frank is outstanding, with his impressions, musical talent, especially the piano, and could easily be a single act. His sister, Chrissy has a beautiful voice and is easy to look at, and then there is Joe! He's the crazy brother!!! Great voice and terrific impressions, especially Joe Cocker and Mick Jagger is priceless!!The entire group including percussion and backups are Wonderful musicians. Very good show, if you like Clint Holmes you will like this show. A few off color and corny jokes but entertaining! A 20 something will probably give a thumbs down, but they have alot of talent and work hard. A usually laid back Wednesday night Thanksgiving crowd gave a standing ovation. A little hard to hear all the words to the songs due to poor sound control. Perhaps the patriotic ending a bit over the top but so what! A bit pricey at full price but who has to pay full price, lots of ways to get 1/2 price tickets to shows like this in Vegas.

My wife loved the show. I was entertained, but not as enamored as her. After all the TV advertising, I was a little surprised at the show. I expected more musical talent. My only lasting impression was that the tickets seemed a little high for what we got. This show costs almost as much as Mystere, "O", or Mama Mia for the local crowd. The patriotic bit at the end was "over the top". I think the audience got the message with the first patriotic bit, we didn't need five more. We'll take our out-of-town company to Celine Dion or Danny Gans next time.

I think this show was incredible. I was extremly moved by their performance. Was well worth the time and money!!! Would go again and again. (not to mention that we are from Buffalo also!) People from Buffalo are the best.

I went to see the scintas over the 4th of july weekend....they are the greatest and they are soo talented. Chrissie's voice is unbelievable and is sooo amazing, i wish i had her voice....everyone should go see the scintas because they are worth it and i know ive seen the show 5 times and ive enjoyed it every single time. everytime i go see their show, it always makes me laugh and cry and i forget about all the bad things and it feels good to have someone make you laugh so go and check out the scintas..by the way, go meet them after the show. they are the sweetest and funnest people to talk to.... hope you all enjoyed the show.

Where does the promo get "Suitable for all Ages"? If you want to be entertained by cutesy off color humor this is OK. Didn't come to hear about masturbating, farting, and penis size. They background music was too too loud. Tried every gimic to please the crown. The ending saluted all veterans(Please Stand). I spent 9 years in the Air Force and a Viet Nam vet and didn't want to give any creditabliity to this weak effort to get applause. before the singing of Lee Geenwood's "God Bless The USA. Had to introduce their mom, a disabled child and tribue to their deceased father. We wanted some singing. Go See Legends In Concert if you want genuine mimics. They are not poor peoples Danny Gans. Gans should feel offended. At his $100.00 to their $60.00 Gans wins hands down. What a disappointment. Wasted evening.

My wife and I couldn't wait to see this show as the Scinta's are from our home town. We laughed heartily, and enjoyed the amazing depth of talent exhibited by this "family" of entertainers. The Scinta's may not be well known outside of Las Vegas, and Buffalo, NY, but they are on their way up the ladder of fame.

This is one of the best shows we've ever seen in Vegas. Entertaining without the 4 letter words or nudity. I can't wait to see them again. Well worth the $.
