Love his old school comedy and sensible common sense approach to it. He seemed very happy to be there and the audience was glued to the man the whole time. No wiz bang, but very funny. A comedy Legend

Seen the show on 1/2/05. Great show and the stories that went with it. Excellent value. Recommend that you go to the 1/2 price ticket booths. Price for this was $28, compare to the $52 plus tax at the Hilton Box Office. Theater was perfect for his show. Not a bad seat in the theater. Big enough that you had a good view of David Brenner. Recommend that if you have time, see this show.

David Brenner takes real-life situations and shows you the humor in them. My husband laughed so much he cried. I'm certain each performance is different and he has a truly unique style. Lots of great fun!

David Brenner has been reported to have changed from an observational type comic to more of a topical comic. Well the night I saw the show, May 6, 2004, he told a lot of stories and was off the cuff. That was probably to the audience's advantage as all his stories were all funny, and many were very informative. He told stories about his old friends from the neighborhood, about being held up in a restroom when he wasn't really held up. He told some of his old classic jokes. He was doing real sign jokes, before some started forming whole comedy acts around them. And I probably most enjoyed his observations on old Las Vegas, the honorable crooks that used to run it, versus new Las Vegas, the dishonorable "non-crooks" that run it now. He told the story about how he got DavidBrenner.com, even though somebody else owned it and it was very funny. He even told his classic reading the newspaper on the subway joke, and why he doesn't do the joke very often. I consider Brenner to be one of the oustanding comedy minds of my generation. I was not disappointed with this show, and if I had to be in Vegas one night and could only see two shows, this would be one of them.
