1st show @ RIO was really good - cast was in the CENTER & all ROUND tables were in a circle AROUND the cast/show. Cute show & funny cast....HOWEVER, the venue moved to the V Theather/Planet Hollywood...BIG MISTAKE by the Production Company. The venue is now in a RECTANGLE room, with the show/cast in the middle. ONLY the VIP ticket holders get round tables around the center stage ...3 tables get a great view. As for the rest of us that paid $89.99 p/p...well sitting 5 rectangle tables back from the center stage, we got a GREAT view of the people sitting @ the 4 tables ahead of us!!! :)...so much for the good show...Sure, they call it "Interactive" & did advise that EVERYONE was assured a good seat, as the venue is small. BEWARE...If you are "lucky'... enough to get 1 of the 4 back tables, you might as well have your own "interactive party" as you get to see VERY LITTLE of Tony & Tina's...GREAT way to WASTE $200. But after all, this is Vegas & where else can you throw $$$ away!!! Should have spent my $200 on the slots...would have been more fun & "INTERACTIVE" & maybe I would have even won a few bucks :)

As I was woundering if this might just be my opinion...I watched 6 people walk out of this production before the end. You guessed it...nobody from the front or VIP tables left, these 6 were from the back 4 tables...imagine that!!

What's WORSE is that GOLDSTAR, the production co, is "sub-contracted" by the V Theather. When I contacted The V Theather regarding this experience...they were GREAT & offered another show to make up for our experience...however, we were leaving the next day & cound not attend. They then relayed a message to GOLDSTAR & to make matters worse, they called me back. The girl the producers had call me, well lets just say not a good choice to have her in charge of their Customer Service or PR...I got neither. Appears GOLDSTAR is good at taking advantage of the Tourism in Vegas...Will NEVER see anyother production affiliated with Goldstar.

Please DO NOT spend your money on this show! We went last weekend to the show in Vegas and after
10 min. I wanted to leave and it was my 40th birthday! I thought it was going to get better and it did
not! I could have gotten a couple of high school actors together and done a better job. It was that bad!
The acting overall was horrible! If you are looking for a laugh, you can stand on the strip and people
watch and have many more laughs! I wish I DID NOT book this show and hope you do not either!
I have heard good things about other cities and this show but NOT in Vegas! It is really too bad, it could
be really funny with the right actors! We were not the only ones at our table to feel this way!

I did not like the show at all. My wife and I had seen another Dinner show in Boston and in San Diego call "Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding." We were looking for the same kind of experience but were very disappointed. I'm not sure which show was the knock off, but Joey and Maria's was much cleaner and funnier. As far as crowd interaction, "The Soprano's Last Supper" was much better.

My Wife, Son and myself attended the show on May 10, 08.
We liked the interaction of the actors with the audience.
The whole experience and atmosphere was more like a real wedding, including the
food.
The band and especially the lead singer Donnie was outstanding.
We could have listened to the band for hours.
In all, it was one of the highlights of our Las Vegas Visit,a lot of fun and we can recommend it highly.

I have seen many shows in Las vegas and a lot of them are very good. But Tony and Tina's Wedding is by far the worst show I and my family have ever seen. Don't waste your money. There are far better shows than this.

We LOVED This Show!!! It was fun, crazy, and money well spent. I took my parents in there 70's and niece 18, and my sister and I are in our 40's and a GREAT time was had by all. We danced all night and Father Mark was our favorite. We come to Las Vegas 2-3 times a year and have to say, that this is one of the best shows we have ever ever seen. My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard!

Saw the show Pres Day weekend, and loved it! I guess it helps if (A) You have a big, nutty family that has weddings like that to relate to, and (B) you PARTICIPATE. To all those that said the show is boring, you might want to try to interact...that's what the show is about. React with the characters, dance during the songs, have some fun! Yeah the food is crap, but what other dinner ahows are left in Vegas? We paid $90 per and felt the cost was worthwhile for 2 1/4 hours and some lasagna and salad.

My fiancé and I watched Tony and Tina’s Wedding on Feb 14, 2006 in Rio Vegas. We had been really enjoying Vegas since we arrived. Watching the show is the absolutely the biggest mistake we had made. The tickets were GA tickets and were told that seats were not assigned so we got there one and an half hour early hoping to get good seats. We were the first 10 in the line but still were assigned to a very corner table(table 3). The whole night we can barely see anything. It's not just that the show is loud, but that the sound produced by the onstage actors and musicians, is so poorly mixed. They made a lot of racist jokes (such as Jewish and porn etc) which I don't think it is proper at all. The worst is the food. It is the worst Italian food I ever had. It claimed that it is a dinner buffet but food and plates ran out after the first run and they did not refill. When they served the desserts, they did not even bring plates and utensils. We were expected to eat with our hands like animals! In short, it is the worst experience we had in Vegas.

This is a great and fun show. It is really great if you have a large group of people because you not only get a show but because of the set up you can still talk and interact with the people you came with rather just staring at a stage for two hours.

I was also surprised that the food was good and there was a lot of it. Not any other show that I know of in Vegas that you still get dinner with. The characters were great, the dancing was fun and it was just an overall great time. Perfect show for out of towners or locals alike. Also, it is probably one of the most reasonable shows in Vegas if you consider that dinner is included.

If you're in the mood for sillyness and fun without the stuffy pretense of Las Vegas glitz, you'll enjoy
this show! If you've ever lived in New York or New Jersey, you'll especially relate...
Loosen your tie, take it easy and have some fun... Don't be shy!!!!

The show was very funny. We had such a nice evening. Couldn’t stop laughing! Those Italians are such characters! You get to eat too, it is a dinner show. There is dancing and drinks, just like a real wedding – Vegas style. Sit on the groom site of the family.

My wife and I just saw Tony and Tinas Wedding in Las Vegas and we loved it! Never have we been to such an exciting and hilarious show. I agree that it is better if you interact but that is why its an interactive show! All the actors stayed in character and Tony and Tina themselves were so convincing that after the show we were wondering if they were a real couple. A must see if you are in Vegas!

If you're a fun loving person, you will love this show. If you're an introvert, you may not, because this is an interactive show, where you, the audience can participate in the show - it's very natural, funny and every show is different because every audience is different. So if you go, go with fun in your mind, interact with the actors and you'll have a blast!!

I have read a lot of bad reviews about this show, but I just want to say that this IS an interactive show and in order to truly enjoy it, one must interact with the cast. That is the whole premise of the show. Certainly not a show for children and likely young teens as well, it does provide a great deal of subtle and not so subtle humor for a more adult audience. Not to say the show is vulgar but it's definitely something that kids would not be entertained by or "get". Actually though, judging by the reviews I have read alot of adults seemed to not get what the show is about. It's not about a set plot where the audience is just watching the plot unfold- no, it's an improv show where there is a loosely based plot in which the audience members can help shape. People who are complaining about the show- I dont think- understand the purpose of the show. This is not something for the shy or reclusive types at all. I can imagine if I had stayed in my seat the whole time it wouldn't have been as fun, but it was hilariously entertaining to me. From the photographer making all kinds of goofy comments to us about anything and everything...... to the trashy bridesmaids smacking their gum as they walk down the aisle... to the priest who ends up getting completely wasted, I find it very hard to understand how one could be unsatisfied with this production. Having an Italian/New York family myself perhaps I was more free to relate to the mannerisms and attitudes held by the families but to me it seems that the only reason someone could not like the show is because they were expecting something that it isn't. The acting was amazing to me, improv is something that not many can pull of well and stay in character throughout the whole show. How someone could not find this show entertaining and hilarious is beyond me. From the minute we sat down, actors were coming over to our table and talking to us. If you are being unresponsive then of course they are going to leave you alone to find other interesting people to talk to. There was the adorable Johnny Nunzio (groom's brother) played by someone who's name I never did find out, but I danced with him and talked to him for a good part of the evening and he never once broke character. There is alot to be gained from this show but only if the audience is willing to participate and enjoy. If you are uncomforable by being approached, or want to just sit back and watch then don't go to an interactive show. But if you do this is definitely an experience you don't want to miss. I admit the food was not that impressive, but no more so than at a typical wedding buffet. That was the only minor downside I can imagine. People need to realize this is a lighthearted interactive comedy, and that is what I really think the problem is with people not liking it. There are many little side stories going on but that is part of the genius of the show. I read someone complaining about missing out on everything that was happening at one time but if you are at a real wedding you are only going to catch the things going on at your immediate surroundings. The subtleties are part of what makes this show so unique and realistic to an actual "wedding." At Tony n Tina's wedding, you are not an audience member you are a guest and that is how you have to take it. I was appalled to see so many bad reviews on the show!! If you have a sense of humor and an itching for something out of the ordinary, I highly recommend that you see Tony 'n' Tina's wedding!

the worst show in las vegas

We laughed so hard we cried. One of the most entertaining shows we have seen in Vegas. Highly recommended!

Don't waste your money seeing this show. I have been going to Vegas twice a year for twelve years, and I have never seen a show this lousy! Acting was terrible, sound system sucked and food tasted like last weeks left overs. I sat at a table with eight other people, and we all felt like we were totally ripped off. For what I paid for the VIP seats to see this show, I could have purchased the cheap seats and seen the best show on the strip...Celine Dieon! Tony/Tina's wedding is a joke!

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SHOW!!!! My husband, brother and sister-in-law went to "Tony and Tina's Wedding" last Saturday, May 1, 2004. We were very disapointed. First of all the tickets are way over priced. We might not have minded the bad show and dinner if it would have been half of what we paid. We were told to be at the door to line up at 6:15pm where we waited for a long time and finally we were escorted into a small room and had to stand there for 30 minutes with wall to wall people. Then after we went into the room where the show was and sat down at the table there were relish baskets on the table. Normally this would have been good but the veggie's looked like they had been sitting there from the night before. Also there were not enough carrot sticks for everyone at the table to even get one and the celery sticks almost the same. So everyone at our table that came in hungry did not even feel like we could eat the relish food because there was not enough for every one. Then the dinner did not start until after 8:00 and here we were all hungry and did not know dinner would be that late...... (No one ever let us know when the actual dinner would start and we went in HUNGRY!) Then there was the show... it was just ok. Half of it you could not see what was going on and then there were characters that would be doing something on the other side of the room that people missed.... I would not advise anyone to go to this show and we have seen several in vegas that we thoroughly enjoyed. We went to a comedy show at Harrahs the night before and paid under $30 for our ticket and it was a very good show.. We actually went to a real wedding of my cousins about 10 years ago that went just like this wedding and it was free!

This is an update on my above comment... I sent emails and called the Rio to complain about our experience.. I finally got a response from someone in charge and they wanted to make it right with us. They sent a letter showing that when we returned to Vegas we were to receive 4 complimentary tickets to any show at the Rio or Bally's. We went back for my son's 21st birthday in August 2004 and called the Rio for our tickets. There ended up being 8 people in our party and they Comped us all 8 tickets for the show we picked.. We felt that The Rio did what they could to make it right with us. I still would not recommend this show. Thanks! warmjack at yahoo.com

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

Easily the worst show I've ever seen. All the other negative comments are correct- bad food, annoying participants, cheap plot, and utterly devoid of plot. I would've walked out, but we were celebrating a birthday and were hoping that the show would pick up after the break. It didn't. If you enjoy paying loud people to bother you for an evening, this is your show. I'll say this- the show is quite memorable, although for the wrong reasons...

What a night we had with this show! Get into the spirit and enjoy the ride. We can¬t wait for this show to come home to England, it would work ANYWHERE. Not everybody will like it, of course, but it`s up there with some of my best Vegas nights out of the past three visits. ENJOY
