I've seen Larry twice and he is a fantastic singer and a great entertainer! He updates his act to keep with the times, and is very, very funny and gifted. He tends to play small clubs (this is a mystery to me, as he is just as good as other entertainers of his type in the large Strip venues), but that makes it even more fun, as he always builds a great rapport with the audience. DEFINITELY worth it! I hope to see Larry really hit the big(ger) time soon!

I saw two shows on my most recent trip to Las Vegas: LOVE and Larry G. Jones. On the surface, it might seem these shows are on different levels of the entertainment spectrum. However, I was no less entertained by Larry, for a fraction of the cost. As with most impressionits I've seen, some of his impressions were spot on, and others were just OK, but entertaining throughout. He's got a great voice and is very funny. His George W. Bush is the best I've ever seen.

This is one of the best shows I've seen! Larry Jones is incredibly talented and you will get 90 minutes of nonstop entertainment that will amaze you! One of the best deal on (or near) the strip!

I saw him at Royal Resort Hotel 12-3-08. I made the mistake by checking his website and saw the sample video first. I was hesitate to see the show as I thought he is just another Danny Gans imitator. To my surprise, he is better than Denny Gans. He is a major talent. Whatever Denny Gans can do, Larry Jones can do better. When he sing the real song, he can be easily mistaken as lipsing. He put his own wit and word into the song and that make you understand he is not lipsing. He is that good!! His Satire to George Bush is of no compare. His Michael Jackson almost make me in tears of laughing. If you think Denny Gans can do Clinton, wait until you see Larry Jone's. He is so much better. The only thing I don't understand is why he is not in a bigger arena. Now Denny Gans is going to move to Wynn's Encore. I hope Mirage can put Larry Jone in their theater. This guy can eat Denny Gans lunch!! He really impressed me by mingle Elvis and Pavarotti and his voice can reach the high C also. He is a vocal wonder. Nobody should miss his performance.

Fantastic show and a great value! We've seen Danny Gans, Gordie Brown, and Rich Little but Larry's voices are so much stronger and more diverse. Surprisingly both our teenager and our 7 year old won't stop talking about it.
The best part of the show was when he did parodies of all the Vegas headliner shows like Cher, Phantom, Love and Jersey Boys. Don't miss this show.

A guy was passing out flyers for the show in front of Fitzgerald's. I took one from him and told my family about it. We all thought it sounded like a good time. I didn't know what to expect, but for $20.00 a head, it was worth the gamble.
I would have paid DOUBLE quite easily. How amazing this guy is. I am a musician and I can't even imagine how it feels to be so talented. What a show! Impressions, comedy and singing duets...wow. I was thoroughly impressed. I am telling everyone to go see the show. The only way Larry is promoted is hand to hand and word of mouth. Do yourself a favor, skip the strip, and see true talent!

Received 2 free tickets to see this show. Wasn't sure what to expect. WOW. What a great performance. FUN FUN FUN. Larry entertained us for 90 minutes and we could have easily stayed longer. I could have paid for the tickets and not felt ripped off. Great job Larry. Looking forward to seeing you on the Las Vegas scene for many years to come!!

We weren't sure what to expect with this show - and we were all WOWED by the time we left. Many of Larry's impressions were spot on. I really enjoyed the sing impressions over the political impressions. But that's just my opinion. His Frank Sinatra is very good but what blew me away was his Patti Labelle & Micheal MC Donald impression to "On My Own". He had us swaying and singing along in our seats. The Parodies were funny - and we loved his interaction with the crowd.

We have seen this show six times. While the price has gone from 'free with a drink' to $22 it is still worth it. I would expect the price to go up again soon with how packed the place was. He had some new material this time when we talked with him before the show he said there would be alot more new stuff in the show next time we come in July. Can't wait to see it again.

The only show in LV that I ever left before the end. Fortunately, I had a free ticket from the American Casino Guide. Some of his impressions were ok but they got tiring seemed like quantity was thought to be more important than quality. One thing for certain, Larry G. Jones, really likes Larry G. Jones.

Larry G. Jones is a hard working guy who wants to rise in the business. He was working the crowd in the Plaza casino giving out tix, while wearing his Perot ears, and urging folks to come in for a good time when our group met him. $8.17 per person total, with a drink included is a good deal for the entertaining show.
I have to give him a thumbs up even though I found out he was an Auburn grad (most of our group are 'Bama alums) I laughed till I cried a couple of times and I guess he served as a great warm up for the show on Fremont Street! Check him out if you're downtown.

Larry's got a good show. He is really a very talented singer and this is shown off with his duet of Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole. He also does all four voices of the Temptation, bass to falsetto tenor. He does a lot of comedy and I enjoyed his Ross Perot imitation most of all.

Fantastic show. We laughed so hard we were crying more than once. He hits you so fast with the song parody one liners you don't even get a chance to finish laughing at one before another one comes along. Besides that, his voices are the most accurate overall than any impressionist in Las Vegas. He also did an Italian opera song that blew me away, his voice is very powerful. We bought the CD Box set and really are enjoying it when we hit traffic.

My husband and I went for out 25th anniversary and were delighted to see such a talented young man. The music he did brought back alot of memories. I have seen just about every show in Las Vegas for the last 18 years and this was certainly among the best ever. It's a shame he's not in a bigger room, it was packed in there.

I completely disagree with the guy above/below who said all the voices sound the same. There is so much variety in the show. For Example, Larry's Sammy Davis Jr. does not sound like his Cher, does not sound like Willie Nelson, does not sound like Blood Sweat and Tears, does not sound like James Brown...Louis Armstrong, Natalie Cole, 4 Temptations etc..or Bill Clinton etc.... The Italian Opera Song was my favorite!
You don't need a million dollar showroom to have million dollar talent. His story about how they told him he would did from terminal cancer was touching too, since my dad died of cancer last year. We are listening to his CD's as we drive around town. What a great singer! What a funny show, I was crying several times I was laughing so hard!

This is a perfect example of a wannabe. Larry G Jones claims to do over 1000 voices. The only trouble is all 1000 sound like Larry G Jones. This is maybe something you'd see set up on the street in San Francisco or at a carnival But what do you expect? It's the Plaza, not exactly the jewel of downtown. Don't even waste the $6.95, put it in a slot machine.

A very good show, but not great, add in the fact it was $18 for 2 people with 4 drinks and it was an excellent show. Larry has an amazing voice and a lot of his act was bang on, some was so so, but all entertaining, His routine can be a little cheezy with some very predictable old jokes, but Larry still made the show fun, it's a great room and Larry is yet another reason for my ne found love of the Plaza

I have seen Danny Gans before, and me and several from my group agreed this show was more funny, and the voices were more accurate. Value = 10+
This was a fantastic show. I didn't expect much of anything for $6.95 but I was truly impressed. My wife and I laughed till I cried several times. I will definitely be back to bring my friends next time I'm in Vegas. The bulk of the music and parodies were based on songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s. The Bee Gees was awesome, Englebert Humberdink, and a hilarious parody on Tom Jones dedicated to Loraina Bobbit. My favorites were the Cher, Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Four of the Temptations.
Most of his voices are so close to the original, you can close your eyes and think you are with them in concert. Great memories of the good ol' days and great laughs. See it while it's almost free.

We saw the show for the 3rd time over the Christmas Holidays and he had added some funny Christmas bits. It's still great fun everytime we go. His voices are so accurate it's hard to tell if he's not lipsyncing sometimes, but he's not.

I had researched and read previous ratings on Larry G. Jones and since we were staying at the Queens, thought we'd check it out for the $7 drink minimum (your second drink is only $1.00). Coctails were much stronger than the quality on the casino floor and most importantly the staff at the Plaza is exquisite. Larry G. Jones himself directed us where to purchase our tickets and our expectations of his show were far exceeded. He was very entertaining and found the show to be very interactive. He's not only a great performer but ultimately a nice guy. After the show his CD's are available for $10.00 each or 5 CD's for $20.00. We purchased his "Swing & oldies" CD and have thought it was very much worth it's price. Overall, great show and even greater service courtesy of the Plaza. Also, if you are lucky as soon as you finish the Larry Jones Show, go downstairs to the casino and see an Elvis performer at the Omaha Lounge. Casinos seemed the loosest at the Plaza, during our visit to Downtown. (22 Nov-26 Nov 2004). Kudos to Larry G. Jones and The Plaza for a great evening!

What a great show. My only question is why isn't this guy on the strip? If you're staying on the strip it's worth the trip downtown just to see this show. My kids enjoyed it as well, while they didn't get the parodies, they laughed alot at Larry's physical comedy and facial expressions. The price is ridiculously low for the quality of entertainment this show delivers. I'll never waste my money on Danny Gans again as long as this show is in Vegas.

This was a fantastic show. I didn't expect much for 'free show' with a drink purchase of $6.95, but by the time I left I was truly amazed. I have been to vegas for 20 years and this was the best show I have ever seen by far. I laughed till I cried several times. He did so many voices in just over an hour I can't even remember them all. Considering that there was no lighting or stage effects whatsoever, it was pure talent that carried the show. He even sang an opera song 'Sorrento' which was awesome. Larry is a good performer and a singer, however as an impressionist he is just fair.While some of his impressions were right on, most of them were not.I had a good time at his show, "well worth the price".Larry is still a young performer if he's sticks to it he will be among the ranks of Danny Gans, Gordi Brown and Philip Gagnon.The top Impressionists in Vegas.
