After coming to Las Vegas for years, I've always tried to see at least one new show each time I get to visit. This time we checked out the Society of Seven. It was highly entertaining. Seven VERY talented men who apparently have been performing in Hawaii for years are now in Las Vegas. Unfortunatly, they are performing at the financially-stretched Alladin who hasn't marketed their show very well. I hope the show isn't closing at the end of September. I saw Danny Gans when his show was only 39.95 and the Scintas when they were at the Hilton instead of the Rio. The Society of Seven show is well worth the ticket price and frankly, anyone who doesn't like this show must be looking of foul language and topless women instead of true talent. These guys are energetic, exciting and having a ball, as did the audience. Catch SOS while you can. I predict they will find a new home if this one closes.

Here is my review. Good news that I just discovered. This shows last performance at the Aladdin will be on September 30th.

Granted the Aladdin Hotel and Casino may have had or be having financial problems, I hate to think that Society of Seven was the best performance they could find for their Center Stage Showroom. If it were not for the two for one show tickets we received as hotel guests I would have been incredibly disappointed having spent money on such a miserable experience. Maybe age has a lot to do with the level of entertainment however being 33 I have yet to find a lounge act in Vegas that I did not enjoy. Society of Seven was a lounge act gone bad and moved behind closed doors. Maybe the fact that of approximately a dozen Aladdin employees I questioned about the show all claimed they had never seen it, should have been an indication. Had they truly not seen the show or were they trying to mask their honest thoughts for fear it could mean lost revenue? Most employees I have encountered at resorts on the Las Vegas strip have always praised their in house venues or at the least given honest feedback on the good and the bad. Amazing that not even the box office personnel could provide insight on what I was about to witness.

Without a doubt, the cast of SOS brings much talent to the stage and for some people will prove to be an evening of entertainment. For my girlfriend and I, staying for the duration of the performance was not a possibility. We would have preferred watching the spinning reels of a slot machine which by the way probably would have provided better cocktail service as well.

This is the best value in Las Vegas. The most talented people on the strip and that is including Danny Gans and the rest of the 80-100 dollar tickets out there. You gotta go!

My husband and I saw them in Hawaii in Feb 2002 for our 30th wedding anniversary at the strong recommendation of a co-worker of mine. True to her word, they were fabulous! What a talented group!! Made us laugh, cry, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and they made our Hawaiin vacation a wonderful memory.Much to our delight, we became aware that they were at the Golden Nugget in July 2002. We never thought we would be able to see them again so we traveled to Vegas and saw them on two separate nights!! Again, they were absolutely fabulous. When they sing the Hawaiian songs in their beautiful harmony, my heart melts! Much to our amazement, they were booked recently at the Aladdin. My husband treated me for Valentine's Day and again, we saw them on two separate nights. This time, there were a number of different songs and stage settings. Needless to say, they were spectacular. I believe both shows were sold out! So, we have seen them 5 times in one year. Need we say more!! If you have a chance to see them, don't miss it. The shows are reasonably priced compared to other "name" entertaines, but you will not be disappointed. Quite a number of people we know have seen them in Hawaii and now plan to travel to Vegas to see them again. They visit with you after the shows, sign autographs, and are very appreciative of your support. Thank you, Aladdin, for bringing the SOS to your casino. My husband and I will definitely be back!!!

I few years ago my wife found this group at Harrahs in Reno. She was so pleased with these guys she sat through both show. Well, in Feb. of this year we managed to catch up with SOS in Las Vegas. All we need to say is, "SOS was simply great" and we laughed our brains out. So, if you want to see a good show at a reasonable (for Las Vegas) cost, grab some tickets and see Society of Seven.
