This was my first magic show, and I am left undecided as to whether or not I liked it. The magic tricks were good, but he didn't seem to have a lot of different tricks. He focused on his life too much and growing up with dancing lessons. I don't think that that was very relevant to magic, but he seemed to. They didn't use the tigers nearly enough. His sense of humor is a little dry, and he didn't seem to really enjoy being there. It was a decent show, but I don't have much to compare it to. I've seen him once and I think that is enough for now. I'd like to see what other magicians have to offer.

This is a good example of Vegas cheese. The tricks are kind of old and the production is somewhat stale, but it's not a bad afternoon show, especially if you got discounted admission. It's great for kids, and has a positive message. That said, I wouldn't go again.

While in Las Vegas last July for a week with the family, intended to take in at least one magic show. Was intrigued by the ads touting Rick Thomas as the #1 afternoon show in Las Vegas, so decided to take that one in. Glad we did! Extremely professional and ingratiating. Everything you would want in a Las Vegas magic show, including a white tiger! And you can't beat the price! With the coupon in the magazine in our hotel room, we averaged only about $13 per ticket. Excellent value! And after the show, Rick was good enough to hang around signing autographs for a long time. Definitely would see again.

It was a great show. He kept you laughing the entire time. There was a little bit of adult humor but not so much that it is inappropriate for kids. He was very good at including the audience. And the tigers were beautiful. He had three full grown tigers and two cubs who were very cute. I would defiently go to see him again.

I was completely dissappointed, more so with him than with the show
itself. Yeah, it would be suitable for young children, but I wouldn't let my
son meet him. A magician can have a major influence over a child's life. I
know this because David Copperfield was my role model. I went to go
meet him after the show. We bought the video, a poster, a stuffed tiger,
and every other possible souvenier. All I wanted was to tell him how
much I liked the show and that he could have so much influence over
young children. I did everything I could and ended up kissing his only to
find out that he could give a shit. He didn't even want to wait 2 minutes so
that I could have my picture taken with him. If I was young, he could
spoiled my love for magic with his plastic smile and egotistical attitude.

Won a free ticket at the slot a couple of years ago and almost didn't go. He was fantastic. Took my unwilling teenage daughter to see him in April. She was so impressed that she bought a poster which he was gracious enough to sign. both shows he made himself available until all had exited. His show has improved a lot and I'm going to see him again with my other kids. The time and price are deceiving; this is top notch entertainment!

I thought that this show would be a whole lot better than it was. Rick is good, but his magic tricks were so old and out of date. The show needs a serious upgrade. Part of the problem might be that the theatre is pretty dingy looking. Siegfried and Roy are still the best. If you don't want to pay that much for tickets, go see Lance Burton.

Do see Rick Thomas he is fabulous also come early for best seat line starts @45 minutes before show opens for open seating within sections, the sections A,B,C,D are determined by when you buy your ticket so buy early in the day to get the best section and come early to get the best seat in that section, it's fairly easy to find 2:1 offers for this show.

The price makes this show worth the time to see. Thomas and his personality connect well with the audience. I like his rings tricks the best. But the growing up dance theme is a little boring. And I feel a little uncomfortable with the big cats, like they are being used to draw in a big crowd. Hey, the showgirls are good looking. All and all, not a bad show.

This is good value with the coupons but he is no Lance Burton , it is not his fault really the theatre and stage are poor to say the least.His ability is better than the place he is in . He needs an upgrade and he needs to do more tricks that Lance and Siegfried do not do.Good value though ,I will go again

This is an afternoon magic show at the Tropicana and we had a really god time. Rick does a good job of mixing magic with comedy and encorperates his audience into his show very well.

You can often get discounts such as 2/4/1 tickets. If you have children, this is a great show to attend. If you don't have children it's still a great show and a great escape from the desert heat.

A great afternoon diversion. This is a performer who really enjoys what he is doing! Great audience interaction and a high paced show. Have seen Rick at least 4 times always a new trick to see. The price cant be beat with the many free or 5 dollar off coupons available at the Trop. See this show before he moves to a different venue with a much higher price tag. I also make sure to say my Grace before every meal. If youve seen the show you will know why!
