I was never particularly a "fan" of Wayne, but we went to his show while in Vegas. I think he gave 100%. How anyone can do the same show night after night and still make it seem fresh, and as though they are enjoying it is beyond me. I would not hesitate recommending you see his show. He definitely tries to make you feel you got your monies worth.

If you want to be entertained then go see Wayne Newton. His voice, well he
can sing only certain tunes now. But, his show is quite enjoyable in that he
surrounds himself with quality musicians and he communicates throughout the evening with the audience, actually making you believe he really enjoys your company, whether or not that is true. We would see him again. However, I recommend you have transportation. We took a 3 mile cab ride and it was $12.00 or $24.00 counting the return trip, and neither cab driver could sing.

Yes Mr. Las Vegas is getting older & doesn't have the sound that he used to have but he still puts on quite an entertaining show. His orchestra & back up singers are exceptional. He spends alot of time interacting with the audience & really makes people feel welcome. I would go to his show again if nothing else but to see how old Las Vegas shows were. Great entertainment.

Wayne Newton puts on a great show. He's a throwback to the "good old days"
of Las Vegas. Nearly two hours of non-stop showmanship and entertainment. He works the room and before long everyone is "into" this show.
The ticket prices were more than reasonable compared to the other shows on the Strip.
Wayne Newton is a "Las Vegas experience".

saw wayne because he is a "legend"...if you read all of the reviews, you will see one common thread - his voice is gone...while i enjoyed his band, back-up singers and his showmanship, it doesn't make up for his dismal performance...i can't recommend someone this bad, no matter who he used to be

The Wayne Newton show was a real disappointment. Wayne's voice is gone and is only saved by backup singers. He was charming and good with the audience but should have quite the business with his reputation in tact.

This concerns the Don Rickles show of March 8, 2002, since Don is often a substitute for Wayne Newton.
For those of you who enjoy Comedy, go to this show. Don Rickles received two standing ovations during his show, and was almost overcome with the warmth of the audience. If you like Don Rickles sit as close as possible to the stage. Yes he may pick on you, but he will pick on at least 15 or 20 people in the audience. He will pick on himself. He will pick on the hotel. He will pick on the band. He will pick on the piano player/band leader. He is an equal opportunity kidder. But he will also thank the people he picks on. The man is just outstandingly funny. I almost felt slighted that he didn't pick on me. During this show, one man he picked on was named Francisco. He thanked Francisco for remembering that he was in Kelly Heroes and seemed genuinely moved by the remembrance. For those of you who get the opportunity, go see him because he is a classic. For those of you who are a little afraid of his comedy stye, don't worry about it, it is a natural fear. But don't let that little fear keep you from seeing this great funny man. He will not be around indefinitely. If you see him at a show, if you are anything like me, you will not only enjoy the show, but also be moved by a truly multifaceted man who has blessed many in America for a long time with his sense of humor.

Unbelievably bad. I was embarassed for the guy. We actually thought maybe he had the flu or something, it sounded like he was gargling with gravel. Always check with cabbies, they all seemed to know that this show is a joke.
