Just for fun, I took my wife to see "Mr. Las Vegas" over New Years.We thought it would be neat to see a "Legend" perform! Being that we are in our late twenties, we are by no means fans,nor have much knowledge of his music. This is by far the best show we have seen in Las Vegas to date! Wayne gives more back in energy and electricity in the first two songs,than any other show. He works the crowd from start to finish and meets and greets everyone along his way! Not only does he have a great band to play with him,He plays most every instrument along the way. Yes his voice does crack here and there, but he easily makes up for it! A great show for anyone who loves music with some comedy thrown in to it.

I am in my forties and I took my son and daughter (25) & (30) respectively, to the Wayne Newton show. Before the show my kids were anxious to see a "legend" perform, after the show they couldn't stop talking about this great show! The three of us have still not stopped talking about it. I know that quite a few of the comments on this site are negative regarding Mr. Newton's voice. Well, it made NO difference to us. His showmanship and warmth made up for any loss of voice he may have. We will be back to see him again and again whenever possible. This is the kind of show that never lets you down. He is surrounded by talent and he keeps up a pace that would tire out most twenty year olds. In a time when singers charge $150 and then lip synch, Mr. Newton is the real deal. Don't miss this show!

Very disappointed with the show! Wayne Newton cannot sing anymore! Worst show I have ever seen! Had we not paid so much money for the tickets, we would of got up and left! Very upset that we were not told when buying the tickets, that he could no longer sing. The Wayne Newton Theater is ripping people off by not telling them,that Wayne Newton cannot sing like he once could.

Wayne Newton is making a bad reputation for himself, by getting up on the stage and making a fool of himself! He needs to accept that he doesn't have what it takes anymore, and retire!

Wayne, PLEASE. Retire already!! When you still had a singing voice you put on a great show. But a singer who can no longer sing has no place on a stage. I saw Wayne MANY times in the 80s and he was indeed great. I hate to see him croaking through his act now. It's sad. Go at your own risk.

ATTENDED SHOW 6/12/03. OUR GROUP OF 10 AND EVERYONE SEATED AROUND US WERE ALL IN SHOCK AT HOW BAD WAYNE'S VOICE SOUNDS. WE ALL THOUGHT MAYBE HE HAD THE FLU, BUT AS THE SHOW WENT ON, IT WAS EVIDENT THAT HIS VOICE IS JUST GONE. AT THE END OF HIS LAST SONG, PEOPLE JUST GOT UP AND WERE FILING OUT OF THE THEATER, COMMENTING ON HOW BAD IT WAS. TAKE IT FROM ME, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I went to see this show with my wife and sister at the insistence of my mother. A lifelong Newton fan. I remain shocked that word as not gotten out at how Mr. Las Vegas' singing voice more resembles a drowning cat channelling Joan Rivers drinking corn liquor, than his old "Danke shein" days.

Wayne's "act" consists of corny interaction with those old enough in the audience to look past the fact that he can no longer sing and is basically catering to an ancient demographic with his Rightwing political humor.

The "finale" was Wayne finally racing through quick renditions of his past hits. Accompanied by a loud band that did it's best to mask his faded joke of a voice.

Everybody in the audience with an anniversary story got a free bottle of champagne. I would have settled for a free refill or a stronger drink to get through this lousy show.

Mr. Las Vegas should become Mr. Shady Hills and just retire.

Very personal person with humor and singing. Great band and singers. Was willing to go into audience and shake hands or give a kiss to ladies. Age may be taking some voice though. Worth the price.

Well, I always said I wanted to see Mr. Las Vegas and now I can say that I have. What a disappointment! I was embarrassed for him. His voice is GONE!!! I really felt sorry for him up there trying to sing! He did have a good stage presence. You can tell he's been doing it for so many years. His participation with the audience was great and it was a long show. But we saw people walk out and I really wanted to myself. I would not recemmend this show to anyone. It was really sad.

This show was awesome! I attended this show on 3-11-03 and was seated at the foot of the stage right next to the center runway and had a terrific view. A few minutes into the show, Wayne proceeded to "work the crowd" and I was privileged to have him shake my hand. Although this show is suitable for children, I would not recommend taking them due to length (2 hours) and they probably would not appreciate Wayne's music or humor. I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to see a true Las Vegas icon.

saw wayne on wednesday night. The guy is a real showman but his voice is long gone. I would have liked to see him in is prime. If you just want to see hime before he fades out go ahead but I felt sorry for him . He should hang it up.By the way Vegas is great!!

After a slow start we thoroughly enjoyed this show. It is great value for money and Wayne and his gang sweat their socks off for you for 2 whole hours. His touchy feely kissy turn around the room was "Old Vegas" just like what Elvis used to do. I think we all know that Waynes voice isn't what it used to be but he can be forgiven as the show as a whole is a lovely experience. He genuinely enjoys what he is doing, works very hard and certainly seems to respect his audience which is endearing. I wouldn't hear a bad word about this lovely guy now. The orchestra, band and backing singers are fab and the banter jokes etc are sweet. My mum is 71 and I am 46 and both of us enjoyed it. Don't listen to the moaners we went to Las Vegas from the UK to have some fun and Wayne gave us some. I think our taxi driver said it all when we returned to our hotel..."When Wayne is gone...that's kind of it" I must agree, I love the old Vegas, I can see Cirque de Soleil et al in London thank you very much.

I think some of the comments on here are unfair. Wayne really gives 1000% for those to attend his show. We can't expect a 60-year old man to sing like a 20-year old. He is a true entertainer and really goes the extra mile to put on a good act for his guests. Bravo, Wayne!
