- Good Show I don't know how people could find a way to be negative with this show. Some people just have to find a way to pick everything a part. People say his stuff is outdated with Clinton jokes etc...well, so is sinatra and George Burns. So what!! it was funny. The person who gave the review on 7/03 said it stunk but, then wanted an autograph. So what if he didn't want to give autographs that day. He probably looked out and saw your scowling face in the 2nd row and ran!
As for his show it is great and uplifting. I just got married the night before and it was the perfect thing to relieve my stress. He does do very current people like Dave Mathews (awesome!) and creed etc. He is a very talanted man not to mention he has top songs on the christian charts! WORTH THE MONEY!

- Bad Show Not my cup of tea! I found his material outdated and pretty dull. Haven't we heard enough Clinton jokes??!! He is a talented impressionist but certainly not worth the $100 a ticket we paid.

- Bad Show To pay $100.00 for a show that laster 75 minutes is an outrage. Mr Gans is talanted but all he did was snippets of the different singers. This show is not worth $100.00 so don't waste your money

- Bad Show My husband and I both went to this show and had 2nd row seats. I ordered these tickets 3 months prior to going to Las Vegas on Vacation. I was looking forward to this show but...we both were very disappointed in it. First of all...he makes fun of the classic singers and sings a snipit of a song and then be little's the stars he is doing at the time. Even though he very much sounded like Frank Sinatra, George Burns (which was the best one he did) and also Tony Bennett (he made him sound like he coundn't remember anything!) I was disppointed that he didnt take them seriously. I know hes supposed to be a comic but the classic entertainers I think deserved to be given respect. Especially since most of them have passed on now. He did 10 min. of Peter Sellers, Inspector Clousou (which is good) but gives the classic entertainers 1 or 2 lines!!! Then makes fun of them and goes to another and makes fun of them and it just wasnt funny. I wish I knew now when I bought the $100.00 each tickets....I would have gone seen George Carlin instead....Save your money, he stunk.
Also...I brought a picture to the show to ask for his autograph...I was told by 3 different people that he doesnt do autographs!!! What a shame....he sounded very stuck up and ignored his fans...how quickly they forget that his fans are the ones who got him there in the first place!!!!

- Undecided Just returned from Vegas and was very disappointed in this show after waiting for a few years to get tickets to see it. When we picked up our tickets we found out that Danny was just returning from a week and a half of being ill, thus all prior shows were cancelled. I'm sorry ours wasn't cancelled, too. My husband and I both felt Gans was an excellent performer but you didn't get much for the amount of money spent on the ticket. It averages to about a bit over a dollar a minute since the show lasted exactly 75 minutes. We saw Bill Acosta a few years back who also did great impersonations and put on a tremendous show doing impersonations and singing in his natural voice. If you have the opportunity I would pass on Gans and try to see Acosta -- you'll get your money's worth!!!

- Undecided I can't say how the show was because we didn't see it. We booked our tickets 3 months in advanced and planned a nice evening around it. My wife had read somewhere that Gans has been canceling shows as of late and had a feeling he would do it to ours. Well she was right. When we got to The Mirage we found the show was canceled. One of the guys at the working at the ticket booth told us this was the 19th time this year he has canceled. That's pretty bad seeing this is just the first week of June.
So if you want to spend some money on a great show while in Vegas go see "O", Mystere, or Blue Man Group. They all show up!

- Bad Show His show has not changed in 4 years I mean he is still doing jokes about Clinton and Perot, what's the deal? When I saw him at the Rio he was pretty good cause the setting is more intimate over there but at the Mirage I am to far away and really do not enjoy the show at all, very boring. If I can recommend a show in Vegas definatly go see The Scintas at the RIO AMAZING you won't be sorry.

- Good Show I was apprehensive at first, I had seen some negative comments. Good thing I found out for myself. I was on my feet. Funny, amazing, touching, I was on my feet with the rest of the audience. He truly deserves all the accolades. See it or regret it.

- Undecided I went to see Gans on 05/11/03 and for the first time I was kinda Disappointed! I am a huge Gans Fan and have seen his show several times, but this time it was disappointing! First off his voice was scratchy, so his impressions were off. Second, this was the shortest show he has ever done! Gans did not sing his own songs, did not do Elvis, or Michael Jackson and seemed to be in a hurry to get off the stage! I thought I would never say this but, it was not worth the $100.00 this time!!!!!

- Bad Show This show was completely overrated. The humor was sophomoric and dated. The impersonations were second rate (Mr. Gans actually has to tell the audience who he is going to impersonate before he does the impersonation). I went to the show with my friends and didn't know their thoughts, so I couldn't leave before it ended. At the end of the show Mr. Gans shamefully exploits our patriotism to get an undeserved standing ovation; it is set up so that if you don't stand it looks like you don't love America. There are much better shows available, pass on Danny Gans.

- Undecided Danny Gans is very talented but certainly not worth the ticket prices of $100 or
even $80. I've seen two free shows that were just as good but without all the production. Go see Larry G. Jones at Fitzgeralds or Stars of the Strip at the
Palace and save yourself alot of $. He also gets a bit preachy which was a bit of a turn-off. If a wanted a sermon I'd go to church.

- Bad Show Overall, Danny Gans is an overpriced show. He would probably get higher ratings from me if it were a $20/ticket event, but at $80 some a pop, there's no way I could recommend this show to anyone. The impressions range from very good to downright terrible. The jokes are stale and old. Like someone mentioned, WTF is with the Ross Perot and Clinton jokes? Hello Danny, this isn't the 90s anymore, then again I'm sure he doesn't give a hoot either. The entire show sounds so rehearsed it lacks any type of spontaneity; I felt like he just wanted to do his time in the showroom then go home. Not impressed at all. In addition, anyone who is under 25 years old should stay away as you'll only need one hand to count how many impressions you recognize due to the generation gap.

- Bad Show This was the worst show I have ever seen. We took my father to Las Vegas for his 80th birthday and wanted him to see a really great show. We had heard good things about Danny, so we thought he would be a sure thing. How wrong we were. His impressions were as dead-on as a 10 year old's. He had to identify every impression he did because otherwise no one would know who he was trying to impersonate. He was waaaaaay too cheezy (painfully so at some points) and his jokes were incredibly outdated - Ross Perot jokes? Clinton and Monica jokes? Cliff Claven? Come on. It's 2003. My husband does a better Forrest Gump. My entire family was horrified not only by his lack of talent, but by the crowds' enthusiasm. It was hard to believe that we were watching the same show as they were. And it's time to update his picture portfolio. He's about 10 years older and 30 pounds heavier than any picture you will find on the web or at the theatre. The only kudos I will give him is that he had an abundance of energy and his George Burns was pretty good. Way overpriced for such mediocrity.

- Good Show We were so overwhelmed with this show that we went back again during our two week stay in Vegas. If you only have time to see one show while in Vegas, make it this one. You'll laugh and cry and get all goose bumpy as you watch this God given talent. I've seen shows all my life including the rolling stones, the boss and other top notch stars...no one compares! He performs better than the actual stars he impersonates. GO SEE THIS SHOW! YOU"LL LOVE IT!

- Good Show Pretty good show, he's quite talented, but TOO EXPENSIVE. Danny
Gans is not a major star, he's never had a "hit" record or done a
tv show or toured, yet his show tickets are $100. Someone should
yank this mess back in line.... Shouldn't be more than $40 tickets.
Also.... seems some of the impressions were half-baked... and
sarcastic. Superstars of music should be given an impression that
honors and showcases their prodigious talents better than what Gans
presents sometimes.

- Good Show Finally got to see Danny Gans (husband gave me tickets for Xmas present),and thorougly enjoyed the show. Not only is he super-talented, but he's surrounded himself with excellent musicians. The Do-Wop he does with his band was terrific. A very fast-paced show...I counted around 60 impressions he did, some right-on, some so-so, but often funny anyway. His father performed a song (Danny said it was his birthday), and he was a hoot. I don't know if that's actually a regular part of the show or not, but we enjoyed him.
The only complaint I have is the design of the theatre. Seats are too small, too close together, and not enough aisles. People sitting in the middle of a row, were often rude and climbing over everyone to get in & out. The guy next to me wasn't huge or anything, but he still didn't fit totally in his seat, and I felt uncomfortable next to him. Fortunately Danny makes you forget any discomfort with his theatre. And I do agree with the comments that the show would be boring to kids, as they would not recognize most of the impressions.
