- Bad Show As most folks here have commented: Show was weak and food was terrible. The only part of the show I found to be engaging was being seated in different sections and being assigned to a specific "king". Our king was kind of a bad boy, and that was funny. I completely agree with the other comments that for $49, I expected more from the food. I know that usually anything with horses is probably pricey to upkeep, but they live in the parking lot behind the casino, for heaven's sake... How expensive can they be? The dialogue needs reworking, even the actors seem tired of it.

- Bad Show My husband and I though this show was terrible. I have to admit that this is not a show we would have chosen to go to, however our firends that we went with bought the tickets for us with out asking our opinion so we were obligated to attend. The show was ok but not exciting...and many parts were bbbboooorrrinnnnggg. I thought it was ridiculous that everyone was served Pepsi...waterd down Pepsi at that, you had no say in what you wanted to drink unless you wanted a prices alcoholic beverage. My husband requested water and we did not get it until dinner was over...what a joke. Then lets dicuss the food, it was horible! It was all food that you could only eat with your hands, they could have done much more then they did...for 46.00 dollars I was hoping to at least have a good meal...no such luck. We were served over cooked dry as a bone cornish game hens, 1 spear of broccoli, potato Jo Jo's like you would get from Safeway...very dry as well and a pices of hard bread...no butter or anything to help it slide down. I was so dissappointed that I watched my watch waiting for it to be over! I would spend my money on many other things then this. If you are into the time period maybe it would be more interesting to you however I doubt you would enjoy the food. Overall I would never reccomend this show to anyone!

- Undecided The show was ok and I enjoyed it but was kind of cheesy we were put on the end where the castle was and could not see the action on the other side of it and the boom of the cannon was to loud for the proximity of people. Service was fine the waiter seemed rushed for the next show. The chicken was good; rolls were to dry and no butter. Found the choice of tomato soup funny because in the middle ages it was thought they were poison, and tasted like spaghettio sauce. The potato wedge could have been bigger and the broccoli had no seasoning on it over all the meal was ok. Good for kids and renfair ppl

Well folks, I read through many of the comments left about this show, and honestly I simply do not understand people. Some of these people probably would not be happy even if Elvis himself came back from the dead and have a performance live. Come on people! This just goes to show how darn spoiled we are getting. Always wanting something for nothing. For the price you pay for the Tournament of Kings, it is actually a very entertaining show. Sure the food could be better, but remember what is going on here. They are giving you a dinner, plus providing some good, clean family entertainment. And do remember even though Vegas is a large family vacation spot. Vegas is not geared for families. Remember that the MGM was built to entice families to come and stay there. And remember that it did not take very long, learned that the theme park was a big mistake. Yes families came, but Mom and Dad was not spending money at the tables. So they got rid of the entire family motif there. And that brings us back to one of the only two places that are even halfway geared upped for families. The Excalibur and Circus-Circus. And at the Excalibur they try to give you a FAMILY show. On July 21 I took my entire family to see The Tournament of Kings show. There were ten of us, and no one was under the age of 18. After the show was over, I looked at the faces of everyone. I was pleased to see smiles by all. So was it worth it for me? You darn right it was. Just keep in mind about this show. It is geared for families with younger children. If you want glitz and glamour, than this is not for you. But if you are looking for a descent family show to take your gang to. Than I would recommend this or The Legends of Hollywood show.

- Good Show My DH, my DD (age 11), my DS (age 10) and I, went to the 6:00 PM Tournament Of Kings Dinner Show on Monday, June 2, 2003. My DH enjoyed himself, but it was one of the highlights of our entire trip for both my DD and my DS. What's not to love? You can make a lot of noise and eat with your hands! As if that weren't enough there are horses, flames and swordplay. We were in the top tier (E), and I really wouldn't have cared to be any closer to action as it were. Pay attention when purchasing your tickets or you may find yourself rooting for the villain as we did. Personally I wouldn't go without my children, but I do feel it's great entertainment for families. Though IMO, the show itself is just so-so. Be aware that there is a certain amount of dust and smoke, so if you or anyone in you party suffers from asthma or severe allergies, another show might be a better choice. Also, because of the smoke I would hestiate to take an infant along. Last but not least, don't let your children guzzle their sodas or you may miss the end of the show rushing to the bathrooms. And to any moms who might be worried, there were napkins, the soup (tasty, my children thought it tasted like Garfield's favorite, Cream of Lasagna) was served in an easy to drink from bowl and the hen (it is dry), broccoli, potato wedges, roll and dessert are all easily eaten as finger food.

- Bad Show Poor attempt at a big time show. Just for kids, poor for adults unless you are really desperate for an evening out. Food was terrible, staff only interested in selling drinks from the bar and getting the food out as soon as possible. Eat with your fingers and hope for the best. The overall presentation of food was poor and I really question the cleanliness of it all, nothing is covered and the atmosphere is very dusty and dirty. The show itself was very poor, lousy actors and stunts. Loud effects and poorly done.
It seemed as if over half of the audience was younger children, 10 -12 who were given discount tickets or free tickets.
I cannot imagine this show surviving much longer as LV goes more adult unless they begin to do the show in the 'raw'. It might be more entertaining !!
There are better ways to spend $40 + per person. Don't waste your time unless your kids are really into knights and fake fights.

- Good Show This is a pretty fair show. Good for the whole family (nothing lewd)just good clean fun. I would recommend this show, compared to other Las Vegas shows the price isn't bad especially since it includes dinner(which was decent). It makes for a nice evening and is worth the money.

- Undecided This show was a weird experience for me that I will not experience again. For dinner you are served very dry chicken which you eat with your hands. They also only serve Pepsi, which I dont drink so I ordered a water, that they brought about 10 mintues after my meal. When the show finally started I was starting to enjoy myself until the horses started to mix the dust and dirt in the air so my throat started to get itchy and then the wheezing started. I couldnt wait until the end of the show. There is not enough ventilation in the theater for the amount of horses and people breathing. I would not recommend this show for anyone who has asthma or any respiratory disorders.
