- Good Show We really enjoyed the show. Steve Wyrick did an amazing performance and kept us wondering all the time. He was also very funny and quick on his feet with those volunteers he brought up on stage. It was fun!

- Good Show Got the tickets for free. I got to go up on stage for the "654" card trick and that was a treat. Really enjoyed the magic. My wife and I got to go backstage after the show and meet him and get his autograph. He was super nice and talked everyone who was backstage.

- Undecided I feel that the show lacked the imagination that it could have had. The dancers and the routines made very little sense. Steve Wyrick had very little to offer.

- Undecided I caught a late show with Mr Wyrick. He looked utterly discusted that there were so few people in the audience. I am a veteran of his "Sexy magic" Topless show at Lady Luck maybe in 1997 or 8. I loved that show. He had only been open for a month or two, his mother was in the audience and did some flawless dance routines with the ladies. Now a little older, he just seems like he going through the routines with half filled audiences and hes just sick of it. He even muffed up his 456 card trick when the wrong card came up and quickly dropped the cards on the floor and started again. Everyone is allowed to have a bad night and maybe I just caught his.

- Undecided got the tickets for free and thought the show was worth the price. It is kind of cheesy and much time is wasted watching his dancers dance lame numbers. He is funny and good with the audience. I thought the magic was old and below todays standards. I don't understand why he is so proud of the ending with the airplane. I am glad we did not pay for the tickets.

- Good Show This stage that this magic show plays out on is really impressive. His tricks were very well done and he made the audience laugh on a number of occasions. Good show for children.

- Good Show Entering Steve Wyrick's theater, one is immediately struck by the stage and accompanying decorations, which are designed to give the appearance of an aircraft hanger. Predominantly dull gray and black, with red globed lights scattered around the edges of the stage. It's impressive, and one anticipates good things to come.
The show begins with Wyrick's female dancing troupe performing with adjustable section ladders. The aluminum ladders are continuously manipulated into different configurations by the limber beauties, who dance around and through them. At the end of this noisy number, Steve Wyrick appears on stage, emerging from the cockpit of a helicopter, which has suddenly appeared high at the back of the stage.
Wyrick then performs a variety of illusions, including the classic "lady in a box", where a woman is put into a rectangular box. The box is divided into five or six sections and then split apart and recombined to reveal that the young woman is intact. Wyrick's own illusion of passing through the spinning blade of a large turbine fan is pretty slick. Another signature illusion is the "Blades of Death", where a set of spinning circular blades descend on the magician as he struggles to escape from chains. A very good illusion, except the video used to introduce this trick doesn't work particularly well. Another trick involving what are presumably his pet dogs works out fine, but Steve plays it a bit too cute in his presentation.
The act proceeds through several different set themes. The magician provides the audience with some background about his roots, setting up a scene at an old time San Francisco hotel. Wyrick's wonderful dancers perform an energetic tap number dancing around and on pieces of luggage. They again set up his appearance on the stage, this time he suddenly appears, in a cage hanging maybe seven feet above floor level, at the back of the set. Unfortunately Wyrick's tricks in this setting are a bit weak. Another set has the theme of a New York street. The illusionist's slight of hand with the wares of a fruit stand vendor, are a little tame. The settings' finale is both strong and noisy. As Motley Crue's "Wildside" blares, Wyrick rides a motorcycle into a cage, which is then lifted high above the stage. The magician becomes hidden from view just before disappearing from the stage, and making a sudden reappearance elsewhere.
The show's low point is a long drawn out card trick, "The 654 Club", that involves members of the audience. The trick gets monotonous, and fails to hold interest. Another audience participation trick involving cards, might have gone more smoothly had the audience member selected been able to speak English, but credit must be given to Wyrick, as he improvised and saved the trick from bombing. One last illusion involving an audience member was the "levitation" of a young girl. It scores a few points with the family crowd, but isn't particularly impressive.
The show's finale is truly dazzling, and comes up suddenly as a small plane appears on a raised platform from behind a short raised curtain. No idea how it was done.
Overall the show rates about a six on a ten scale. Steve needs to add a couple of strong tricks, and perhaps get rid of the deadwood in his show. The dedicated theater is a major positive, with excellent unobstructed sightlines. The show's cost makes it a relative bargain. The dancers are a big plus. They are required to perform a diverse range of duties, and these beautiful ladies really work their butts off. Wyrick's delivery is low-key and confident, but at times sounds too rehearsed, often failing to create excitement or anticipation before an illusion. You get the feeling that Steve is trying to convince you that he is an "ultra cool dude", but actually he is not quite there yet. If he irons out some of the show's wrinkles, he could get closer to the persona he seeks to emanate.

- Good Show I liked the show, it kept you guessing and I loved the way they intergrated theatre/broadway type dancing and a story line into the magic show. I have no idea how he did any of his acts, nothing was obvious and although, you know it is an illusion, he made it look very real. The drinks were good and they didn't "make you" buy a drink if you didn't want to but they were readily available in the lobby. The ushers who were dressed in tuxedos, which was cute, were also very helpful and curteous in finding our seats. Would definitely recommend it. We received comps but it is worth paying for.

- Bad Show Yikes. I said yikes! THis guy has a great showroom, I've seen his face on billboards and magazines everywhere so I thought he would be good on stage, but I was mistaken. Man did he suck. It was painful to watch him flop through magic routines and look at the audience like he was scared. At one point a trick failed and Stevie yeled at someone on stage. I felt like I was at my alcoholic uncle's house watching him berate my cousin. All kidding aside...DON"T GO TO THIS SHOW!
