Bought tickets for this show through the new 1/2-price day of show ticket outlet in Vegas. I would say it was well worth the price we paid, but not full-price. Buying 1-5 row tickets, you get a "complementary" magic book, and a "meet-and-greet" with Steve after the show. If you want to sit close up(which is really not needed), then buy the VIP tickets, but NOT for the "meet-and-greet". Basically, Steve comes out and signs this tag you are given to wear. Not the most personable guy I've ever met. If fact, he's out front, so ANYBODY could go up and get his autograph, without paying the extra dough. Got to meet Lance Burton a few years ago in his magic show after the show. He was very friendly, even took a picture with us, and it didn't cost me a dime more for tix.

This show is so bad and BORING! The dancers and all of the assistants are amazing, beautiful and talented. However, Steve is boring and has ZERO CHARISMA! If he were to be more down to earth, skip the boring Street Market act and 654 club trick, while replacing it with something more exciting, than the show would have a chance. I was very disappointed that I spent over $130 for two tickets to a show that shouldn't sell out at FREE! A few people even left out of boredom! If the dancers and assistants weren't so great, I would have as well. ALADDIN, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN STEVE WYRICK!

I would describe Steve Wyrick's magic as industrial strength magic. The theater appears to be in a warehouse-like setting, in what is apparently an airplane hanger. So what do you expect might be appearing and disappearing? Well it's not air cargo haulers and fork lifts, but maybe Wyrick could work them into his show.

The first impressive trick, besides his entrance on stage, is his walking through the spinning blades on what is apparently a 747 jet engine. I would say that this trick is typical of his strength, which are large illusions. Other strengths of the show include his dancers (showgirls). They do a very good job of dancing, and two of the blondes are stunning.

The weakness of the show is the smaller tricks. His card trick is a little difficult to follow, although we can watch it on a video screen. He tried to perform two tricks with very young children on the May 12th performance I saw. The children shied away from doing the tricks. I am not a family man, and kids are cute, but I would rather see tricks work. Therefore I would suggest to Steve Wyrick that he choose children old enough to have faith in the magician to allow the tricks to work. Wyrick does not have to out perform any magician in town, as his industrial strength magic is not going to be beaten. One thing though, after the backing down of the small children, there was no doubt this show was live.

I would rate this show slightly below Lance Burton's show. I think the difference is partially the divergence in the personalities of the two magicians, and Burton's show has a much larger cast and budget. Burton's show has a strong comedy aspect with a specialty act to break up the show a little. Wyrick could probably use a comedy act or singer to diversify the show up a bit.

That being said, I don't think Wyrick's large illusions can be topped. Don't ask me how they are done because I don't really see how wires and roll ramps can work on some of the very large objects. This is a good show, worth the money. And I can say I was more impressed by his show than anything else at the Sahara.

Here is a person that does not belong on a stage, Can't walk, can't talk. No personality. He is not doing magic, it is going on around him. It's ok for kids, but Nobody is walking out the door saying " I gotta see this again"
A waste of money and time.
