Super show. I've been trying to see Rita Rudner for the last two years but my wife wasn't very interested. Finally, I just made reservations. My wife was totally thrilled. Rita Rudner has perfect timing, great delivery and fall down funny material. We saw Jerry Seinfeld recently and Rita made us laugh just as much if not more. The theatre really isn't what I would expect for such a talent, but I guess they wanted to squeeze as many as possible into the seats. It didn't matter, since MS Rudner's 90 minute show took everyone's mind off whatever their problems and left them laughing and wanting more. This is a first-rate comedian in her prime. Well worth the price.

You get what you expect with Rita Rudner. Her show is quaint and suited to the small room in which she plays. Very enjoyable she speaks to her audience as a confidante rather than playing to the house.

We saw Rita a few weeks ago and we're still chuckling! She is able to touch home with her humor and does it without insulting anyone (actually, she focuses more on herself but we can all relate). That hour went by so fast and we would have loved more. She really connected with her audience and was able to tie her jokes together throughout her performance which made it that much funnier. The "theatre" stinks, though. It's basically a room, with a stage, and a bunch of seats -- UNCOMFORTABLE. She deserves a much better venue and so do those who come to see her. LOTS OF FUN and I highly recommend seeing her.

The show was great! Rita Rudner is hilarious. I saw her show on my birthday, and it was worth it! I wouldn't recommend children attending the show, but not because she is offensive,...only because it seems to be most enjoyed by adults. Also, she knows how to relate to the audience. If I have a chance to see her again, I will!

Rita does a great show. She keeps it clean and very funny. A lot of the jokes and observations are somewhat obvious, but when Rita tells them, they seem funnier. She is just a sweet lady who makes you laugh. I agree with the comments about the chairs. They are simply awful! The only drawback. They are also hearing impaired listening devices availale which was a great help to me. If you are looking for a show that avoids toilet jokes, body parts, and vulgarity all night long, this is your show.

I would ignore the comment by the person who can neither spell "humor" (hummor) nor "remember" (remmember).You don't have to be a member of MENSA to enjoy Rita, but it helps to be partially educated. She's quite simply wonderful.

How many featured comics are there in Las Vegas? Not many. I have always had mixed opinions about Rita Rudner as a comic, only having seen snippets of her on television. I found her very enjoyable and laughed a lot.

Rita main course of humor consists of adult relational humor. No surprise she comes at it from the female point of view, but for me a male, it works because of the universal nature of observable humorous differences in men and women. But my main area of common ground with her is my age. We are both around 50. And I would guess that Rita and I would have been below the median age (meaning most of the audience was over 50). So I really appreciated her jokes on kids tripping over their long pants, tattoos and body piercing. It is also nice to know that somebody else yells “NOOOOOOOO!” at their televisions during football games, even though her husband is British. Furthermore she gave several logical explanations of why women like shopping, even though I still don't exactly understand them (something about hunting a fixed object with a credit card).

I think she had plenty of comic material and took questions towards the end of the show. At the airport the next day while waiting to board the plane to head back to Austin, I was wishing they had her 10 a.m. Las Vegas show on instead of "The View." The only negative about her show was the fixed chairs in the Cabaret Theater at NY-NY. At least there were cup holders on the chairs in front of me, and the ladies on each side were nice and thin enough giving me a little more legroom. While I may not go back to this show on my own, I would certainly take a date assuming she is over 30. Women may enjoy this show a little more than men but I enjoyed the show and now have a much higher opinion of Rita Rudner than I did before I went to the show. As for how many regular comics are performing in his or her own-featured shows, I can’t think of anyone else but Rita. I think that is unfortunate, as regular visitors to Las Vegas don’t have much selection in comedy shows.

Rita is OK. I laughed a little. However, the seats in that theater are horrible. It feels like you are in a grade school cafeteria. The NYNY should be embarrased by that little funky theater. My But was killing me by the time we left.

My fiance and I attended Rita's show at New York, New York in January. About maybe 30 to 40 minutes into the show, the sound went off --- and, much to our surprise - and chagrin, she continued to do the show, even though most of the audience could not hear her - or, if they could, they really could not get everything she was saying - which includes picking up on the humor of whatever she was saying. We were soooo disappointed - and, to boot, did not understand why we weren't given either a free pass to another show, or our money back. I think that would have been only fair to expect. I had been waiting for years to finally see Rita in person - and I feel shortchanged. We had to leave Vegas the next day so that was the end of that.
