Amazing Johnathan

I rememmber Johnathan from his comedy central days and was only in Vegas for a few days and was really looking forward to seeing him. And though he didn't perform his arm cutting stunt, he is an extremely talented act. However I could not deal with his squeaky voiced assistant Tanya who really made this show a downer. With as much talent that Johnathan has I can not understand why he hooked up with such an annoying talentless sidekick.

I believe he needs to go back to his roots and do more audience shock and less of this silly side kick stuff. The Golden Nugget could save lots of $$ on Tayna just get him a trained parrot.

A good show and worth the price in my opinion.I've been a AJ fan for many years.I like the new show with his dumb blonde assistant Tonya; she was very funny and entertaining!I've heard alot of the jokes before.... but I don't care, he is still funny and puts on a great show.

Went and saw The Amazing Jonathan over the 4th of July holiday for the second time in the last 6 months and I still crack up even knowing the outcome of many of his antics. This is a great show in the $40 price range. He and his psychic friend Tanya are very funny. The LSD trip with the audience member still makes me laugh. It was the first trip to Vegas for my sister and brother in law and based on their reaction to the show - I hit it on the mark bringin us to see Jonathan. I highly recommend this show!

The humor is sharp and the timing between Jonathan and Tonya is
perfect. I was laughing almost the whole way through. The whole time,
though, a thought was nagging me - "there really isn't a lot of magic going
on here." On thinking this over after the show, I came to the conclusion
that Jonathan's opening act, some guy in a tuxedo, was much better as far
as oohs and aahs. Ah well, if a show keeps me laughing non-stop, I
won't complain. Go to Penn and Teller to see some serious talent,
magic-wise.

We went to see The Amazing J because we are huge fans of his work on Comedy Central and HBO and it was simply one of the most unbelievable shows we have ever witnessed. The showroom was packed and the energy from the preshow video's and special little surprises that AJ threw in before he came out was worth the ticket price alone. The crowd was pumped to see him.

Now I've seen almost all of his TV specials and when people tell you he has nothing new in his show, they are lying or out of their brains. It's NOTHING like the TV specials! He has material that he's doing at this venuse that we have NEVER seen him do before. In fact, most of it was new material made especially for this long gig he now has in Vegas. We talked to him after the show when he was signing autographes and he told us that himself. You will DIG the new look and material he has come up with.

There are no words to describe how much you will laugh at this lunatic!

Not for those who think Full House is good entertainment. This is dark comedy that will have you laughing from beginning to end. There is nudity, profanity, violence, and every other warning label description you can think of in this show.

Husband and I liked the shows on Comedy Central so much, we decided to see his show in Vegas. The show was virtually the same. I was a little disappointed that AJ had not added anything new for the live show since the taping. I was hoping for a few new routines or bits. It is still a good show but for those who have seen him on TV, it is stale.

Saw this show last time I was in Vegas and I'd see it again ans I wouldn't care if the material was the same. If you laughed at the zipper scene in There's Something About Mary you'll love this. Although I wouldn't say it was for young kids, if you don't mind them listening to sexual toned jokes nothing really explicit, then there is no real reason why they shouldn't bring them in, put it this way he isn't Andrew Dice Clay or for anyone from the UK Chubby Brown. In fact there were a couple of kids in the audience when I saw the show who looked around 8, so parents discretion.

Both AJ and Tanja were happy to sign autographs after the show for those who wanted.

Having seen Amazing on Comedy Central, I couldnt wait to hit Vegas and catch his act live at Golden Nugget. I was not disappointed. From the opening segment of film clips to the opening act, Mr. Mysto, it was all hilarious. Amazing was true to form his entire act. Between him and his female side-kick, I was kept in stitches all evening. The BEST show at a fantastic price. Getting to meet him after the show and have him autograph some souviners was a great finish to an Amazing night.

This was my first trip to Vegas and I wanted to see "Johnathan". This show is the best value you will find. From the minute the show starts until it is over you will laugh until you hurt. The show started with clips from some very funny movies. Then the cameras were turned on the audience and people were shown with some very funny comments. It got the crowd in the perfect frame of mind. The opening act was a British Comedian/Magician (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) who was hilarious. Johnathan and Psychic Tanya were fantastic. The show is fast paced and cutting edge. The language is rough and not suitable for young children. I can't say enough about this show. If I ever get back to Las Vegas you can bet I will be in Johnathan audience again. Thank you Johnathan and Tanya, you were GREAT!!!

Amazing Johnathan is just that "AMAZING". Funny, magic, odd ball look's makes Johnathan as far as we are cocerned one of the best acts in Vegas, and for the price the best value anywhere. I bought one of his tapes they sell after the program and I watch it often and still catch myself chuckling at his antics. Not for children, but young adults up to 100 will enjoy his act or you need to check your paulse. I will see him again on our next visit. Kudo's to Amazing.

Incredible show. Very akin to Penn & Teller, but edgier. You get the sensation of being in the same room with a madman who could go postal at any second, but is still very funny. We were doubled over laughing the entire time.

Definitely not for kids.

We went to the Amazine Jonathan for we saw him on tv and thought he would be great and funny to see. I would say about 75% of his material on stage was the exact same material on the t.v. special-word for word. I knew exactly what was coming up next so I was bored out of my mind. I should of went to Penn and Teller at Rio. I basically paid money to see what I had already seen for free on t.v.. It is up to you. If you haven't seen him, then great-he would be funny.
