- Good Show My wife and I love this place. We visit the club twice a year when in Las Vegas. The talent is consistently the "make-you-cry-funny" variety. We have been to the Riviera and Harraha's comedy clubs several times but The Comedy Stop is easily the best. I love the decor, the somewhat obscure music videos they play before the show, the pumped up intro music, and Springsteen's version of "Viva Las Vegas" played after the show. Great stuff!

- Good Show Use 2-for-1 coupons that you find in all the Vegas magazines and get the show for $20 for two people with a drink each included. Great deal.
The best part of the show is you get to see 3 comedians, and chances are at least one will be good. We saw Mitch Fatell(sp?) from Tonight Show with Leno fame and he was hilarious. The other two comedians (including the headliner) were not very funny and not even worth mentioning by name.
Overall a great deal and a nice way to catch an up-and-coming star. Would definitely go again using a 2-for-1 coupon.
Note: the 8 oclock show is smoke free and the 10:30 show is a smoking show, so choose the time according to your smoking preference.

- Bad Show The comedians weren't that bad but our whole night was tainted by the rude people working there. I swear they just got out of prison or something. If you ask for anything, they look like they are going to hit you, I felt like I was at the Bada-Bing on The Sopranos. Surly as all get out. The guy who seated us- rude, the waiter- rude. They should spend more than $7 an hour and get some people with class.

- Good Show We just returned from our 6th visit to Vegas and the Comedy Stop. Every year we say it can't be as funny as the year before and we are proven wrong again and again! We have hit all the comedy clubs and this beats them all. For those who love comedy clubs, this is not to be missed!

saw this show on 3/19/03...all 3 comedians were hilarious...i only wish Bruce Smirnoff had opened the show as i thought the opener was funnier...the headliner, Evan Davis was a riot...alot of barbs thrown at audience members...if you got up to go to the bar or bathroom, you would be the butt of a joke or 2 on the way back...we had a 2 for 1 coupon so we only got 1 free drink per person instead of 2...my only complaint is the seating arrangement...i plan on attending this show on my next vegas trip...

- Good Show Our second trip to Vegas in 2 years and our second trip to the Comedy Stop. GREAT VALUE. All 3 commedians were hilarious and NOT filthy mouthed like some we've seen. We will certainly make this a regular stop for us.

- Good Show So you want to see some comedy. Here is one of the best deals in Las Vegas. For about $18.50 ($15.66 including tax and gratuity) you can see a 75-minute comedy show. I saw it on Sunday February 9th. It was hilarious. You never know who will be in the lineup, and because these comics are not everyday, nationally known comics this may be a risk. But on the night I saw the show, I laughed way to hard for my own good. The lineup featured Christine Stedt, Peter Young and Tim Walko. What a great job they did!
Christine, who says she used to work at Hooters, pause…pause, as a cook was just a tad heavier and older than the average Hooter’s girl. And in fact she might be grandmother age, but it seems like there was a joke about her kids being a little slow in that area. She was hilarious. Young who was from the New Jersey-New York area was very fast paced and quite funny. I must admit my favorite was the featured comic of the night, Tim Walko. I laughed so hard I coughed and coughed. And I was not the only person there laughing and coughing so I didn’t feel so bad. And as usual with good to great jokes, I can’t remember them to tell them at work the next day. But Walko is from the Chicago area and even did a little Blues acoustic guitar. And I do remember that bit, but I can’t repeat it in public web areas. In fact the whole show was pretty adult…and hilarious. I haven’t seen a more receptive Sunday night crowd anywhere.
OK, now for a little useless bit of information. I used to do standup comedy about 11 or 12 years ago in Austin. And I got to see some very good shows because they would let us lamebrain new comics in at half price. This was the best show I have seen since I saw Sam Kenneson at the Laugh Stop in Austin. I’ve got to give this particular show a ten and at less than $20…what an entertainment value.
