We really enjoyed this performance! Gladys Knight has a GREAT voice, wonderful stage presence, upbeat and most entertaining. The only regret was that it was so short. I thought the dynamics between her and her brother were very funny and served to break up the performance. The singers who accompanied her each had great voices. This was a real treat and one that I would, without hesitation, recommend seeing!

I was peeved. The show lasted 1 hour. She sang 4 songs about 25 minutes tops, the other 35 mionutes Bubba and background singers performed. Not worth $80. I want my money back.

I am a huge fan but was very disappointed in this half-hearted show and couldn't believe what I was watching. She only sang about 4 songs all the way through (in 1 hour and a half)!! As we all know "Gladys Knight and the Pips" was an excellent group but she introduced the "Pip" and he completely took over the show and we found him and his so called "comics" very annoying and he got on our pip to say the least! He had centre stage for over 30 minutes. BRING BACK GLADYS and her great voice and say goodbye to the annoying Pip.

He danced about and interacted with the audience whilst Gladys Knight was standing in the background!! Say AGAIN?? Couldn't understand half what he was talking about and anyway we went to hear Gladys Knight sing and not to see him jiving about on stage.

We thought it was a con and not worth the money. We were asked by the seating attendant if we wanted to upgrade our seats and we are so glad we did not take up the offer as it would have meant we would have been much closer to the Pip and his antics!!

The Lady can still sing !.. Enjoyed the show, the backup band is very talented.. the skit with her brother was pretty good..the show lasted about 75 minutes and Glady's probably only sings 30 minutes of the show.. but I guess when I get up there in age I won't be able to do all the things I'm used to doing.. Overall good show.. pretty fair price

Gladys Knight is a great performer. She sang a variety of songs, not just her hits. Her brother's part should have been trimmed down some. His antics seemed to be a bit much for the show. Also, the video at the end seemed to take away from the wonderful live performance we just saw. We had just seen this great performance which left you really feeing good and then the video kind of brought that energy down. They could have really done without it. Overall Gladys sounds great and she was enjoyable and personable. We enjoyed the show.

My wife and I liked this show. The sound quality was good and the song selection was good. The only item I didn't like was the amount of taking Gladys does on stage instead of singing. I would say that 60% of the show
is Gladys and her brother trying to be funny on stage with silly comic skits. The other 40% is why people paid the money to see Gladys (her singing).

I am a huge fan, but this show was a half-hearted effort from over-committed Knight. (She's signed to several years of shows here.) During the 85-minute show, she gives center stage to her backup singers and former Pip Bubba for at least 30 minutes midshow. Bubbas's antics become tiresome quite quickly, but wishing won't make him go away anytime soon. The remainder of the show is 1/3 Gladys singing (or singing along to pre-recordings) and 2/3 stage blather, I mean banter. She may be saving her voice for the long stretch ahead, but isn't that what I'm paying to hear?
Oh, I forgot to mention the band. Did anyone else out there think that what they were playing had nothing to do with what was being sung? I've seen Gladys perform with exceptional bands before.
If you still feel compelled to see this disappointing show, I'll share a tip with you. A $10.00 tip to the host upgraded our seat from the balcony to the main floor; well spent, for what that's worth.

Gladys was fantastic. She still has it. The backup singers were all terrific and the band was excellent. Her brother, Bubba, was hilarious. We're so glad to have seen this show. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who grew up with her music. Her tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. was heartfelt. The venue is rather dated and could use a renovation, but I guess it matches the hotel and casino. The best advise we got (from this site) was to get booth seats. Ask for them when you pick up your tickets. The seating is extremely tight; long tables of 12 pushed close to one another. Our seats, however, were great. Very comfortable, lots of elbow room with a great view of all the stage action. Gladys Rocks!
