Don Rickles was PATHETIC. His incoherent "act" consisted of dropping the microphone over and over, vague stories about Sinatra, Cagney, Dean Martin and Bob Newhart, bad/old ethnic jokes and not much else. He is WAY past his prime and was a huge disappointment.

Rickles is Rickles. One of a kind and well worth seeing. A thowback to old Vegas. If he is there when you are htere it is worth the price of the ticket

OK, so I'm biased. He was born on the same day as I was. OK, so he was born 32 years earlier. He is hilarious! If you are lucky enough to be in Vegas when he is there, get you and any of your friends tickets. Understand, he might pick on you....if you are lucky. He picks on everybody. He picks on Wayne Newton. He picks on the band. He picks on a good number of people in the audience. He picks on the hotel. He picks on himself. But he also builds a bond with the audience. I think he had two or three standing ovations when I was there. I had the feeling he was really touched. He deserves a few accolades because he has brought laughs to this country for nearly a half-century. Go see his show if you get a chance.
