Boy Katindig should become a new benchmark for qualifying smooth jazz. The keyboard is second nature to him. If you knew him like I did while he gigged and recorded in Manila, then you should know that it's pretty hard to divorce him from the Moog synthesizer. The texture of sounds which he uses to do his solos should indicate to you a most eclectic ear and musicality worthy of any great keyboard artist. Kudos to Boy Katindig. An Old friend. Jun Latonio

I was honored to play bass for a week with Boy, as well as having listened to him numerous times. Simply an LA HEAVYWEIGHT! You couldn't ask for a better keyboard player-great comping, killer solos. Bebop, ballads, latin, r&b, funk-this guy does it all, and makes it look easy. But trust me, it isn't. A must see.-Paul Purtle
