Our room was surprisingly nice - very clean and very quiet. The casino is showing its age and doesn't have a poker room. Cafe had good food and very good service as did the steakhouuse. There is a Mexican restaurant in the casino area. It had excellent food, but the worse service imagineable.

I can attest to Fiesta's claim of being "The Royal Flush Capital of the World". After gambling at Palms, the Orleans, the Palace Station, Sam's Town and doing very very poorly my parents and I wanted to give these big, noisy, and crowded casinos a break. We arrived at Fiesta. At first we did ok. Then all three of us were playing on the "No Faces...Pay the Aces" quarter machines. My mother was playing on the end video poker machine nearest to the entrance then she hit a Royal Flush ($1,000). Not 20 minutes later my father was playing and hit a Royal Flush ($1,000)on the SAME MACHINE my mother hit. Then we had a wedding to go to and played at Rio where my mother hit another quarter Royal Flush ($1,000). My mom and I went back to the Fiesta and around 11:30pm, I hit a Royal Flush ($1,000)on Double Bonus Video Poker near the Amigos Club. Later my mother and I were hitting 4-of-a-kinds on a regular basis.
We ate at the buffet but I'd rate it a 6 and then the cafe I rate a 7.5. I will be recommending this casino to all my friends. I'll be back.

My Sister Marie Lai, My Mother Bea Hurlbut and I Juanita Larson, all visited
Fiesta Casino, and had a great time the rooms were near the Casino and parking.
The food was great at the buffet and resturant and the dealers were frendly and
helpful they had no $3.00 Blackjack tables that would have been nice.
We would all return again.

We visited in Jan.2003, while staying across the street at Texas Station... they have lots of poker machines, nobody in our group had any luck, but I did enjoy the variety of nickel machines. Good local hangout.

My wife and I stayed downtown on one of the page trips at the Golden Nugget, but made the trip to the Fiesta to gamble. It was billed as the royal flush capital, and we both play video poker so we had to check it out. There were plenty of full pay machines in both quarter and dollars, and I was able to hit a royal on a quarter Deuces machine, and my wife hit deuces on a dollar machine, so we were in luck that day. The service for pay-offs and machine fills was fast, but then again we went on a weekday afternoon. I would definitely go back to play again, unless they have taken out the full pay video poker when Station bought them out. Did not eat there or stay in the hotel, so I can't comment on that
