This property is our favorite downtown spot, much friendlier than
the nugget and alot looser. Their location within the FSE is excellent
Upon arriving we dropped our bags and were on our way out to have dinner
when my wife decided to try a little slot action, within five minutes
she had $500! We came back from dinner @ the 4 Queens and she played
the same machine again...$500 again. We have always had a good time
here and they are very generous with comps. On this trip we brought
1400 dollars to spend on food and gambling and incidentals, we came home with
$1350-gotta love it.

Our stay at the Fitzgeralds was very pleasant and we had a great room, it was a corner room. Could not really see all of Fremont or the Strip, but nonetheless the view was nice. It was clean, roomy, and not expensive at all. The staff was very helpful and the food was good. My husband liked the buffet and I was very happy just sitting at the slot machines. My husband would like the Fitgeralds to start "A Bingo" and he would be in heaven!

We were very pleased with our stay at "The Fitz". I love downtown Vegas and The Fitz is in the right spot. Food at the Shamrock was good. Dealers, pit bosses, and bartenders were very friendly. Front desk workers and operators weren't as nice. Pool was a BIG disapointment. Room was exceptional. Great bargain. Would gladly take the same room again. Richard the bartender was a lot of fun. I would give the overall experience a B+.

On my previous visit to Las Vegas, we played at Fitzgerald's for about an hour, using the player's card for the first time. A few weeks later, we got an offer from them in the mail, not a particularly good offer, but I was impressed that we got one from them at all after only being there for an hour. On that trip, we stayed at a strip hotel, played quite a bit in their casino, and haven't got any offers from them yet. The more I see of the strip, the more I like downtown. After getting the offer from Fitzgerald's, we stayed there for three nights, then decided to stay one more night. Our room was on the top floor, and was quite comfortable and clean. The view from the 34th floor was great too.
The casino is wonderful, loose slots, friendly dealers. The slot club is the best I've encountered. There are kiosks throughout the casino where you can check your own comp value, and print out coupons for match play, free drinks, discounts, etc., without taking away from your point balance. The more you play, the better coupons they offer. I did take advantage of a 20% discount in the gift shop by printing out a coupon.
In short, I loved this trip, this hotel, and it didn't hurt that between my wife and I, we won somewhere around $3,000.

Nice rooms with a great view if you stay in the tower. Casino is nice enough, but nothing special. Received the worst service and treatment at the Mcdonalds downstairs. Very rude staff there. I will never walk through their doorway again for any price. The food was fine, just piss poor service. That being said, I like Fitzgeralds. We stayed in November of 2001 and Aug. of 2003 and guess what. We have never received any kind of offer that would entice us to come back. I have been to Vegas twice. Stayed at Fitzgeralds both times. Never once was I offered a comp for even a lousy cup of coffee much less a room upgrade or meal ticket. The atmosphere is comfortable and the rooms are clean though. We are going back in May 2004. I called Fitzgeralds and asked if there was any comps or discount rates for people who return to their establishment time and time again only to be told no. (and yes, we did gamble there and used our club cards!)So instead, we booked a room at Four Queens. Well see if they are more appreciative of repeat business than the Fitz. So the Fitz is nice and clean, but they seem like they could care less whether you ever return to their establishment or not.

Fitzgeralds is the second best hotel on Freemont Street. Golden Nugget is # 1. I stay at Fitzgeralds when the rate at GN is too high. The rooms at Fitzgeralds is clean. I won money this trip on the $5 Double Diamond machine at Fitzgeralds.

This was my first visit to Las Vegas and since I don't like to fly, I came by Amtrak from Northern Calif. I picked Fitgeralds because of its location. It is within 5 blocks of the Amtrak/Greyhound bus station, the Las Vegas Transit Center, shopping and other entertainment venues. My stay at Fitzgeralds was safe, quiet and most people (staff and guests)were pleasant. My only complaint, which I registered on the Opinion Card, was the air conditioning unit was non-stop noise which made sleep difficult the first couple of nights until I got used to it. I will return!

Stayed 3 nites. Clean rooms. Carpeting both in rooms & hallway do need to be replaced, very soiled. Casino just as dirty as last year when staying there. We like the location & the fact that the hotel elevators come right down in the casino, not a long walk as some hotel/casinos. Slot machines have definitely not been loosened up with change of ownership.

This was the first time we have stayed at the Fitzgerald Casino and will NEVER
stay there again.
We checked in (good so far).
Our room was a non-smoking room with two double beds (not good). I had taken the confirmation with us which stated room type and bed type.
Called front desk, went back downstairs and changed rooms.
First evening returned to our room and called for room service. Guess what no room service.
We were told that we could order from the coffee shop and take it up to our room.
No ROOM SERVICE, No COFFEE MAKER, No BLOW DRYER.
The rates were great.. should be..You have to do everything yourself!!!!

The walls are very thin and the halls smelled like a sewer.

We have stayed at Fitzgeralds many times but in May 2003 was the worst.
Check in was good but desk clerk was rude acting. We requested a room on a higher floor away from the noise of the Fremont Street Experence. She acted
like we didn't have the right to make a request. We were put in a nasty dirty
room that had not been used for along time. The pictures were missing from
the wall, the imprints from where they uded to be were there. There was used tissue under the bathroom sink. The bath tub faucet was leaking and the was room was very dusty and the carpet was dirty. I called down to front desk and put in a request for housekeeping to come clean the room. The supervisor offered to move us but my husband didn't want the hassel of moving,we had plans to go out for dinner. The room was cleaned when we came back but the desk clerks should not give out rooms in this condition. I said I would never stay at Fitzgeralds again but we are planning a trip in June 2004 and we have 2 free nights . My husband wants to stay at Fitzgeralds again so we will see how it goes. I can only hope we have a clean room this time. I did win $650.00 the
first night in Fitzgeralds casino.

This is the first time staying at this Fitzgerald's and I wasn't too impressed. I had a problem with the TV and it took 4 hours to have someone fix it. They didn't have another room for me to move to. I did however hit $800 3 times on the dollar video poker and $1,100 on a quarter video poker. One of my better trips.

Got a great deal through the internet...BUT...
I guess I am just spoiled but I would NOT stay in the hotel again. The room was rather sub-par to what I am used to. Older and the beds were kinda "bouncy". The Towels were skinny..lol I HATE that. The Elevators were scarey, The TV got some interference from the heater occassionally. Could hear every thing down on the street. Every car, bus, the music from Fremont etc... The Maid service plain SUCKED. I had a pair of shoes I kicked off one night and they NEVER moved from almost the center of the room. They emptied the ashtrays but just left them both on the corner of the sink or wherever they landed. I was NOT a happy camper but for 25.00 I got my money's worth. I WILL pay a little more next time and stay at the Nugget if I want to stay downtown. We did have a lovely view with a corner room.
I WILL However visit the casino frequently! I loved the dealers and found the slots to be paying nicely. My only complaint was the drink service and the BJ Dealers had no $100 chips?? I won good one night and had to wait for a tray to carry my chips because they had nothing bigger than a green chips.
One of The best parts of the experience was Michael Lee who was performing in the Casino. (Singer) he was just an outstanding talent and very entertaining.
The place isn't a dump and if you have a good rate many people would probably be satisfied but I want a little more when I am in Vegas.

This past weekend was my first stay at a downtown hotel, I always stay on the strip. But I must say that I will now always stay downtown, and I will always try to book a room first at Fitzgeralds! I played black jack, and the dealers and pit bosses were great and friendly. The rooms were average, but at this price who would complain? I recommend to all who stay downtown, to try this casino first. I did read some comments about the elevators and parking being pretty bad, and it is true, but use Valet, and be a little patient with the elevators (which are very slow), and it'll be all good. All my friends who came with me stayed at other downtown hotels, but they too loved Fitzgeralds. We will all be returning soon, and can't wait to gamble and party here.

I just wanted to say - that I was happy with my short visit here. Ask for a room as high as they can give with a view towards the West. Great view - mountains in the distace & Fremont St. below. This is not the Bellagio - but a fun, nice place. The cafes were good by me and the staff was generally pleasent. Nice bar area with a balcony overlooking the Fremont St. experience. Short walk to all the super fun downtown casinos. Good bet for folks on a budget.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the parking garage is small and cramped. Great price, only $80 for Thur+Fri. I wish they would tear down that experience thing and turn downtown back to what it was. It's like some dumb suburban shopping plaza with gambling and hookers. That was on their minds?

The buffet was just ok nothing special but acceptable. Larry G. Jones is very good, try to see his act it is a good show for a 1 drink minimum. Good downtown location will stay here again.

Stayed there for News years cuz I had trouble getting a reasonable room on the strip. Compared to the room prices on the strip, the Fitz was quite a bargain and a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean comfortable and the Casino lively and the slots seemed to pay better than on the strip. Got into a couple shows for just a drink and they were OK too. Buffet is run of the mill but inexpensive. ALl in all a very good value.

The rooms at Fitzgeralds were clean, but the casino leaves a lot to be desired. The cigarette smoke was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. There is apparently not any ventilation systems in that part of the hotel. This hotel would be a good place to go if you are a diehard gambler.

The staff was very friendly and helpful almost like they dont want you to leave. I would recommend this place to anyone. I have also stayed at the Golden Nugget and felt the property and service is just as good here as it was there. We loved everything about the hotel. We are already planning our next stay there. I highly recommend this hotel.Staying in the downtown hotel is a lot better. I have been staying at the Fitzgeralds for several years now and I must say it is always a pleasant experience. No long lines at check in, the rooms are clean, and I don't have to walk a mile to get from the front desk to my room. The hotel is built directly on top of the casino, so no long walks. Possibly one of the best laid out hotels in Las Vegas as far as going from your room to the front door of the casino. I defy you to find one of the mega resorts that can as good a job of doing that! As for the location, it is right downtown across the street from the Four Queens and kiddie-corner from the Fremont. Also, it is the tallest building in downtown Las Vegas and the rooms on the top half of the hotel are much quiter than some of the other hotels downtown, due to the Fremont Street Experience. The casino is OK; not bad, but not as good as some of the others. However, they now have 10X odds on craps, which none of the mega resort tightwads have the guts to offer their gamblers. The room rates at the Fitz are fantastic! The new owner, Don Barden, is pumping a lot of money into the place and the changes are quite nice. If you are tired of the Strip or want to try downtown Vegas, give the Fitz a whirl.

Was comped 4 nights and on check in I was going to request a high up room but was informed I was already upgraded to Club 21 so I kept my mouth shut. It was wasted on me cause I really only use a room to sleep, shower and shave but I'm not complaining. Actually the same size as their regular rooms it was furnished nicer with desk, data port, easy chair and 31" TV. Had the "standard" coffee maker/coffee, iron/board, table/chairs, safe and hair dryer. The room had big bars of soap, shampoo, body lotion etc. amd a "personal kit" cotaining more of the same including sewing kit and oatmeal soap in case you wanted to wash your oatmeal. It had turn down service with the little mint, a USA Today was delivered each morning and they left two bottles of water each day which was a nice touch with the weather the way it was. Understand the Strip hotels are charging $2.50+/bottle for this service but the Fitz does it no charge. Good gaming in the casino but I advise eating elsewhere although Limericks is good. Gotta see Larry G. Jones at the 5pm show (cost one $3 drink) as he is fantastic. Michael Lee is great on the casino stage with dancing and a real entertainer. The Golden Nugget edges it out but not by much-definitely #2 Downtown. In spite of others comments, I found the elevators fast and convenient. Only drawbacks could be lack of a pool/spa if that is important to you.

We were able to get an internet rate of $90 for the weekend and were very pleased! The staff was quite helpful and friendly! The buffet was exceptional too. We are not big gamblers so it was no big deal to lose a couple bucks here and there in the nickle slots. The entire hotel was clean and the elevators had virtually no waiting time at all. The only negative I have to report is the air conditioning unit in our room was rather noisy but we are overlooking that and returning for our honeymoon in October!

Nice place to visit, like the area, and the FSE. Been there 2years in a row and going back 9-17-02

This was our third year staying here and we loved it. They were doing alot of remodeling and it didn't seem to bother any one, the elevators worked great, did'nt have any long waits. Had to change rooms because of a leak in the room above use, but they comped us a breakfast and a late check out. We will probably be back in 03.

My second visit to Fitzgeralds, and I enjoyed it very much. The Fitz is a bit "faded": not everything is in tip-top shape, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The coffee shop, Shamrock Cafe, has tasty food (try the fish & chips), and the casino is clean and well-lit.

The best part of The Fitz, however, is their extremely friendly and helpful staff. I have never had a problem with any staff member there, and they go out of their way to make your visit a pleasant one.

I NEEDED A ROOM AT THE LAST MINUTE FOR ONE DAY ON A SATURDAY AND DECIDED TO GIVE FITZGERALDS A TRY. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME STAYING DOWNTOWN, SO I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. SINCE I HAVE ONLY STAYED ON THE STRIP AND PLACES LIKE THE HARD ROCK, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE ROOMS WERE SUB PAR, BUT THEY WERE CLEAN AND PROVIDED AN IN-ROOM SAFE. I THOUGHT THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. I TOOK SOME ADVICE I READ ABOUT RESERVING A ROOM AND IT REALLY MADE THE STAY BEARABLE. ASK FOR A ROOM ON THE THIRD FLOOR, NO VIEW BUT BECAUSE THE ELEVATOR SERVICE IS IMPOSSIBLE (PLAN ON 10-15 MINUTES TO GET UP TO A HIGHER FLOOR WHEN IT'S BUSY)IT IS A SHORT WALK UP AND DOWN TO THE CASINO. ON SUNDAY MORNING THEY ONLY HAD ONE ELEVATOR WORKING AND PEOPLE WERE NOT HAPPY. THE CASINO HAS GOOD PAYING THREE CARD POKER AND A NICE SELECTION OF NICKEL GAMES FOR MY GIRLFRIEND, IF I STAY DOWNTOWN AGAIN IT WILL BE ON THE THIRD FLOOR OF FITZGERALDS.

We stayed at Fitzgeralds in June of 02 at a special internet rate of $30.00 / nite, for Fri & Sat. That was a GREAT deal!! We asked for a room " high up " and recieved one on the top floor w/ a great view of Downtown and the mountains beyond. The room was of typical Hoiliday Inn quality and was clean, the only major problem was that the air conditioning was extremely LOUD--kept making RRRRRRRRRRRCLANGCLANG noises all nite. The towels had that "weird" smell, but were plentiful. ( I left a note for the maid in English & Spanish asking for xtra towels, shampoo, etc, and was supplied with tons of each )
We had some luck in the casino. I hit 4 dueces on a DW machine, and my hubby hit for $600.00 playing "shockwave" VP. We didn;t have to wait forever for the handpay, either. Staff was very courteous and professional.
We had a late night breakfaxt in the coffee shop--food was ok, not bad, not great. Waiter was very pleasant.
I wpould definitely stay at Fitzgerald's again, but I hope they fix the air conditioning

I've come to the conclusion that some people's sole purpose in life is to complain. My advice to you is DON'T listen to them! My husband and I had a great time at Fitzgeralds! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was terrific! We had supper at the Shamrock Cafe at 10:00PM and my husband's cut of Prime Rib was perfect; thick, juicy and done to perfection. My stuffed shrimp was delicious. We also had breakfast there a couple of mornings and it was very tasty. Elevator travel was quick and check in and check out were hassle-free. We had a room on the 27th floor and the view, which was to the east, was quite lovely; morning or night. Although we parked on the 6th floor and upward, the elevators are close, unlike some place like the Luxor or MGM.
We gambled in at least 30 casinoes, from downtown to the Strip and had the best luck by far at Fitzgeralds! The first night we were there I won $1,400.00 on a 3-coin nickel slot(non-progressive!) while my husband won about $150.00 on quarter video poker. Two days later we went into the Keno bar, put down money for 10 games each of their Million dollar game at $1 per game and took off to the strip to look around. If you play 2-9 games, then you can check your tickets and collect anytime up to a week after purchase; if 10-999, you have a year. Anyway, after losing a couple hundred dollars at properties on the strip, we went home to the Fitzgerald and kicked back. That evening, we went to the Keno bar to get our tickets checked and my husband had won $1. I, however had won $5,081.00!!! I got lucky and picked 9 of the 10! Although some people were disappointed that I missed the last one, we were ecstatic! We had to go to the bank twice to PUT MONEY IN!!! Could there be a better Vegas vacation?
We both highly recommend Fitzgeralds to all of our friends and family. Go there and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed.
The Fremont Street experience is a must see. The canopy adjoining most of the downtown properties lends a Mardi Gras atmosphere to the setting. And the players downtown are relaxed and having a good time. Most everyone visiting had a big smile and courteous demeanor.
We WILL be going back!!!

Stayed at the Fitz for 3 nights after 2 nights at the LV Hilton. It was my first trip to LV and you know what? I think I like downtown to stay better.

Anyhow, the Fitz isn't fancy. It is clean and everyone is friendly, the breakfast buffet is fine, and the Shamrock cafe is just right to sit for a quick bite. Great location on Fremont, catty-corner from the new Neonopolis. And heck that plus the $18 rate made it a heck of a bargain.

The only complaint I had was at checkout, where I had a difficult time using my O'lucky Bucks to pay for the room(I was the secondary name on the acct, and they wanted the main person to sign off, even though I had my own card). It all got worked out in the end. Would certainly stay there again.

Great value, friendly dealers, great buffet at night. (Stay away from the lunch buffet however.) I won about $500.00 at the tables. Nice location to walk out and see the Freemont street attractions.

It wasn't a HORRIBLE place to stay considering it was only $50 a night on a weekend in April. Still, there were too many unappealing features to warrant another stay at the Fitz. First off, I booked a room with one king-sized bed for me and the wife. While checking in they reiterated that it had a king. But in getting to the actual room, we discovered it had two doubles. I complained about it, but to no avail. The sheets on the bed we slept in had a rather large hole in it. The windows were so thin that you could hear the God-awful band that was playing on Fremont Street at night, even from the 34th floor which we were on. And the worst part about the Fitz is the parking structure. Do yourself a favor, if you're staying there, pay for the valet. I discovered this right away. Self parking doesn't even start until the 6th floor, and it's the kind of garage where you have to drive around and around and around to get up or come down. Not fun. But like I said, for $50 a night, you get what you pay for.

The hotel and casino staff were very pleasant from the moment I checked in. The elevators were very slow getting to the 22nd floor and back down again. The room? It hadn't been redecorated since this place opened as the 'Sunburst' 25 years ago, and this was obvious due to the furniture with "S" logos on it. Some rooms have Jacuzzi tubs in the baths, and mine didn't, but I could hear the motors of them from the other rooms just as if I did have a Jacuzzi... The lunch and dinner buffets were good, but I still prefer Binion's buffet. The gaming wasn't nearly as good as at the other downtown casinos, since I noticed most people at machines around me weren't winning either.

Overall, Fitzgerald's was disappointing at best, even with low room rates.

I've stayed at the Fitz seven or eight times and have no hesitation recommending it. It's not the fanciest place on earth, but the price is certainly verrrrry reasonable, and I've stayed in many places for a lot more money that weren't any better. Other than the carpet, which should have been replaced a long time ago, I've always found my room and the overall facility clean and in good repair. The in-room coffee pot (and coffee) is a huge plus, as is the in-room safe and much higher than normal water pressure. I've seldom had any appreciable waits for the elevators (4), and usually get a high room for the view and reduced noise.

The staff is as good as or better than most, although I've encountered the occasional "snag," such as when no one seemed interested in calling a cab for me. Not that I usually have need for dry cleaning, but pickup is probably 1 1/2 hours earlier than the 9am time listed on the information sheet. One of the staff commented how he's been trying to get it changed for years with no luck. Other than that, I've used their on-line reservation service with no difficulties, and have usually been able to get into my room much earlier (and stay longer) than the official check-in and check-out times. I'll undoubtedly be staying there again.

Good place to lay your head if you like staying downtown or you have a car. Rooms are your basic Holiday Inn style -- nothing fancy but rates are always low and sometimes downright insane. Minimal play with their card gets you giveaway offers. Noteworthy problem: Rooms don't have true blackout curtains and morning sun can flood rooms. Also, music from Fremont St. can seep into rooms, but that's true of rooms at most hotels that face the Fremont St. Experience. Casino has been overhauled a bit since I last was there; it was much more focused on machine players than table games, but more blackjack tables have been added and craps odds have been changed to more reasonable numbers. Friendly staff. Food better than I though except for buffet (avoid). A downright bargain.

A good place to lay your head for the price, with comfortable rooms that are bigger than some downtown. Casino is oriented more toward the machine player than the table games player. My experiences with the restaurants were very positive -- better than reviews I have seen. Staff was friendly. Table minimums got surprisingly high at times for a downtown place. Hotel gives lots of good offers to 'club' members and the O'Lucky Bucks system means you can get comps without begging a casino host or pit boss. Try to get a room higher up, facing Fremont Street -- there are good views up there, and the sunrise on the other side really leaks through the shades on the windows.

If you are looking for a clean comfortable room and a smaller casino with everything in walking distance, this is the place to go. We got married right across the street from the hotel a few years back and we were back in the casino within a short period of time. The staff is SO friendly, you get spoiled when you visit another casino and don't experience that kind of service. The BEST drink servers are Cathy on the second floor during the day and Edna on the second floor in the evening. They go out of their way to make sure your visit is enjoyable. Everyone at Limerick's is professional and friendly. The coffee shop is great with excellent service and food. The slots are loose and the keno lounge is always fun. If you want a good room, ask for a room that ends in 42 (2142, 2542, etc) because it's a corner room and you have an excellent view of the strip in the evening. On weekends, the elevators are hard to get, so be patient. I won very little on this trip, but that won't stop me from going again in July. The hotel is not fancy, but I go to gamble, not stay in a hotel room. The hotel is also small enough that the staff remembers your previous visits and treats you like you really are special, even if it's only for a day or two (that's more than your kids do, lol)! Good food, good rates, good gaming, good rooms. You want better? Then go fight the crowds on the strip. Kids are not allowed to hang around the casino, either. They are very good about that. OK, that's about all for now, enjoy!

I love everything about the Fitz except their slot club. Most slot club employees were nice, but one man there acted as if I ran over his dog. Anyway, we are planning another trip in the fall, and when I called the Fitz for room rates, they quoted $40.00 per night (with the slot club card). The rack rate on their website is $35.00. We go out twice a year, and I couldn't believe they wanted to OVER charge me. The Mirage offered us 2 free nights, so we'll be on the Strip next trip. Other than that, nice, clean rooms, good food, and nice area.

This was my first time staying at the Fitz, and I'm proud to say I've found a new "home" when I'm in Vegas. You see I hate the crowds of the strip, and when I'm in Vegas I just want to gamble , rest and eat good, without the crowds. That's why I'm usually go to Laughlin to get away, but a friend of mine gave my a good tip for the Fitz. The rooms were nice and clean. My view was the best I ever had. Corner room 30th floor with the Sunset out of one window and the Strip out of the other both viewed from the bed..nuff said.....
I'll be Back!!!!!.
By the way for really good food while downtown.....Walk over to either the Golden Nugget or Main Street and leave the car in the garage!!!!!

My sister-in-law and I try to get to Vegas 2-3 times a year, always stay at Fitz's. Once on their mailing list, and if you use their player's card, you can receive very good offers for rooms and special events. The rooms are clean, the staff courteous and helpful. It's nice to be able to roam around the other Downtown casino's without wearing out too much shoe leather. We enjoy visiting the Strip and transportation back and forth is easy...like they say..it's a nice place to visit but there's no place like home...and home for us in Vegas is Fitzgerald's. Hats off to them for their energy/water conservation efforts.

I have stayed at several hotel in the downtown area. I find Fitzgeralds to have the friendlest dealers, change people, slot personnel and check in desk to be just great. They have the best value for the slot cards that most of the casnios are now using. We get compted at least 4 times a year and we try never to miss those special perks. The Keno ladies are always so helpful, and to be honest this is the only place I seem to be ale to win.

We have visited Las Vegas the last 3 years and have always stayed at Fitzgeralds. We come to gamble. We care nothing about a pool. The staff is friendly. We first stayed at Fitzgerald's in Tunica, Ms. for a hockey convention and liked it so when we decide to go to Las Vegas we decided to try Fitzgerald's there. It is nothing fancy but we like the convienence of downtown and it is approx. a 15 minute drive to the strip.

A group of 6 of us stayed at the Fitzgerald hotel & casino last year and had a very enjoyable time. The buffet was excellent as was the excellent/friendly service. This year we stayed at the Four Queens which paled in comparison. We found ourselves walking down to the Fitzgerald for our entertainment. We will definately be returning!!

Decent rooms. Nicer rooms can be had for about $20 more, if that is a requirement.

Kinda noisy, darker, casino.

The coffee shop/buffet is kinda inconsistent. The other restaurants are pretty good.

Easy mailings just by signing up the for their slot club.

Just returned from Vegas yesterday after a 4 days stay. In the 10 years I have been going every April this was the worst trip ever. The first thing I noticed was there just weren't as many people as before. Then I found out why. Vegas has totally shut down any chance of winning on the slots. I assume to make up for their 9/11 loses. Trouble is they are losing business, mine included. From now on it is Laughlin for me and my money. When you can put 20 dollar bills in a quarter machine and not get a single credit things are locked down tight. This happened time and again. I play more table games than my friends that go also, so I didn't get hurt as bad as they did on the slots.
As for Fitzgerald's they have improved some on their friendliness, except for the front desk and the oriental dealers. What's with these people? Time and again people walked away from tables. These folks act as if they are better than everyone else. All other dealers were friendly. Just one more reason I will go to Laughlin instead of Vegas, no oriental dealers with their attitudes. Call me a bigot if you wish, but when I'm spending my hard earned money I will NOT be treated as though I were beneath someone. One more thing about Fitzgearld's, I left last year with a lot of credits on my card and returned this year to zero. They did the same thing the year before and I have yet to get a reason why from them. Vegas is history in my book. Take my advise and go to Laughlin instead.
