I totally recomend foreign travellers to check out Arizona Charlie's. It has afordable food, the service was excellent and most of the staff workers are latinamerican or asian, so it won't too hard for non-english spokers. I especially liked the Buffet. The food was awesome! They had everything you could think of---pizza, burgers, japanese food, etc. You can't go wrong with that!

This hotel is ok for the familly, but you'll see alot of legs here and there with those women passing the chips for the casino table games, but hey, it's las vegas! the casino gets kinda noisy once and a while, and if you're not into gambling, you can walk out of the hotel and check out the nearby local stores vegas has got to offer. I recommend you guys visiting "Ross", a clothing store that sells very low priced clothes (but with great quality). Of course there's the typical McDonald's and Wendy's on the Decatur block, but for travellers, I recomend the local resterants. The food they serve there will fill you up with those huge servings with possiblt some of the best food you'll ever eat in a livetime! Oh, in Vegas, visiting the Strip is a must!! Especially at night. It's a whole other world.

The hotel rooms are ok, but they have thin walls, so I recomend no loud familly disccussions. And for those love birds out there....uh... tone it down 'cause there's still kids in the hotel.

My tiny complaint would be the tv cable service...they don't have ALL the cable channels, but eitherways, Vegas is full of life, so you won't be needing much tv anyways.

I stayed at Arizona Charlie's for a week and the rooms and the service is excellent. I had problems with the washroom toilet and the repairman fixed it in no time and the staff was great. The people in the hotel were very nice and polate.

Arizona Charlie is great if you don't wanna spend much on a hotel. It's also great for those who prefer a regular sized hotel and not like Vegas' HUGE casino style hotels were you can get lost in there forever!

Well, that's my review for now. I hope I can revisit Vegas again in May if possible. I had fun and was a VERY well deserved vacation after workin' hard for a year. Adios Amigos!

Stayed 4 days and 3 nights at Arizona Charlies West on Decatur Blvd in late March 2003. Outstanding Video Poker selection including Full Pay Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, and All-American Poker. The entire casino is dominated by video poker machines, as compared to slot machines. Hotel room is an excellent bargain for the price. Restaurants/buffet are not flashy but serve decent food. Any serious video poker player should stop here. Players Club card offers comps and cash back.

My wife and I go to ACWest every time we go to Las Vegas. Their Video Poker is GREAT! They have a big selection of Full Pay machines and their VP Tournament is a good bargain and a lot of fun. For some reason I come out ahead at their casino regularly. The Restaurants are a good bargain especially the Sour Dough Cafe, the Buffet upstairs is just OK. We have never stayed at the Hotel because it is really out of the way. Bud and Sandy

This is the best bargain in town, when you make your reservations online through TripReservations.com.

I found the room to be clean and well maintained. The 24 hour coffee shop generally provided a fine dining experience, for someone on a tight budget. Food was very good and service was mostly prompt.

The only problem I experienced is that the lighting in the room was very dim. They are trying to save on energy costs. Bring along some light bulbs if you plan to spend any time in your room reading. The brightest spot in the room is at the vanity.

If you plan to spend any time on line, all calls including local are 75 cents regardless of length of call. Use your cell phone for calling and just log on once, don't disconnect, and you will keep your phone charges down.

I only played a couple of hours per day, in the casino, and managed to go home with most of the money I arrived with. A very smoky environment if you are a non-smoker, however. I did not see any non-smoking area and you smelled the odor as soon as you walked into the casino.

The hotel is a fair distance off the strip but well worth the slight inconvenience. It is very close to the I-515/95 Highways which will put you onto the I-15 quickly. The traffic lights take a very long time to change, in Las Vegas so be prepared to change your zipcode at some of them. You will begin to feel as if you will be there forever.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to spend some quality time in Vegas and not spend a lot of money doing it. A great spot for business trips and people trying to relocate.

I stayed here and would love to stay again, the staff was great especially the shuttle staff. The food was reasonable and very good. The gambling was great, I never had so much fun in any other Casino. I was very pleased.
