You wouldn't want to visit this place unless you were really interested in history or old time. Yes, they did close it. I believe it is wrecked too, as of last year. This hotel was the original place that me and my family stayed back in 1980, it has been open since 1952 and has been family owned (no big corporation). It is sad to have seen it go, as I really love old time Las Vegas, but it was time to move on.
