Homophobic Pit manager, pit boss and dealer!!!
Pit-manager told me to change my shirt because it had a lesbian print on it.
Do not support this hate supporting civil right bashing casino.

I had a great stay at the Avi on Labor Day weekend> It was a nice surprise to see that the rooms have been updated. Very clean. Room service was polite and asked if there was anything else I needed. I played golf on Saturday across the street at Mojave. It's a nice course. My brother still doesn't understand how I lost balls in the water while playing in the dessert. On Sunday, we made the short trip up to Oatman, AZ to see the mules and the gunfight. On Sunday night, the fireworks were spectacular. I have been to the Avi before and will come back again. The beach, the pool, the buffet and the people were all great, especially Chuck in the Keno pit.

Awesome place! Have been there several times and would continue to go there.
We have no complaints!
The only suggestion I can think of is for them to put aside a couple rooms for people that have small pets, maybe charge a couple bucks extra for the room or a deposit.
So, whenever we bring the dog, we stay at the Riverside, when we don't bring him, we stay at the Avi!
The new restaurant is wonderful, have NEVER had a problem with the buffet, even when the coffee shop and buffet were combined (they aren't anymore).
The Beach could use some cleaning up by the end of the season, but is still a nice relaxing place to go!
We always set up early to get the best spot, however, the person with negative comments about rude people taking their boat spots and setting up directly in front of them are valid. That, however is not the casino, but the rudeness of other guests!! The security has been nothing but helpful with us, and ask people that infringe on our "territory" to please move, if they want the best spots, they can get up at the crack of dawn and set up, like everyone else!
Avi gets my vote!

Decent hotel, very clean. THE SLOTS ARE VERY TIGHT. I am not just saying that because I haven't won much. I have stayed here the last three years, a few times each year and I have noticed that not many people were winning. Rates could be a little lower. The beach is great especially if you have any watercraft. We have a boat and seadoo's and the beach access had to be the highlight. They really should put some of that casino money into making there rooms look nicer. Nice decorated rooms have a huge impression when you are on a vacation. It can really make a difference on your mood and with the compettion between other hotels your rooms could use some help!
