I've stayed at Bally's four times now and consider it my favorite hotel on the Strip. The location is outstanding. The prices are consistently better than all their neighbors for rooms of equal if not better quality. I enjoy the "themeless" quality of the place that keeps the gawkers out and makes getting from elevator to casino to doors much easier. I've always found the staff courteous and helpful. Restaurant choices appeal to any budget. Probably not the casino you want to gamble in if you're looking for low roller tables. Otherwise, it's my favorite place to sleep on the Strip, though I seek fun and fortune in other places.

After arriving at 10:00 PM during a "torrential rainstorm" we arrived at
Bally's to a huge check in line. We waited approximately 45-1hour to visit
one of the 2 check-in hosts who were available. Other "host's &
Supervisor" would peek there head out from behind a closed door, then
go back without assisting the front desk. We did enjoy a heated argument
that another guest had with numerous front-desk clerks over a pillow in
her room, this lasted through our line queue and after we left to go to our
room. The room was clean, however the couch was dingy. The bed was
comfortable and the bathroom was so-so. The view from our room was
that of the back of the hotel, and if we pressed our face against the glass
we could see PARIS. There was a 2foot balcony that i could rest my feet
on, however the door did not open more than a few inches. The casino is
outdated and the cocktail waitress is practically nonexsistant , we did
enjoy the 1 drink that we received during our 4 day trip. More likely to order
the drink and they never return. Comps were very good, enjoyed a $100
steak dinner at the Steakhouse located in Bally's. The restaurant was very
posh, however their attitude was friendly and attentive.

Bally's continues to have an obscene amount of children wondering
around the outskirts of the casino. AT ONE POINT I HAS TO FLAG
SECURITY TO TALK TO SOME KIDS THAT WERE RIDING WHEEL
CHAIRS DOWN A HANDICAP ACCESS RAMP. Security advised her
thanks for letting her know since they cannot be everywhere at once. The
buffett was very good, and with comps you can cut the 1 hour+ line. We
had no problems getting to the front of the line and getting seated. Overall
we have stayed at LUXOR, MGM, HARRAHS, ALADDIN, IMPERIAL
PALACE, STRATOSPHERE, BALLY'S rates about a 3. I would also
recommend SAM'S TOWN BUFFET. They offer delicious all you can eat
steak on Wednesday night.

WILL BE BACK IN MAY 2004 STAYING AT THE MGM!!! WE CANNOT
WAIT!!

HONORABLE MENTION -CELINE DION AT CEASAR'S PALACE
IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO SEE THIS SHOW TAKE ADVANTAGE...THIS
HAS GOT TO BE THE VERY BEST SHOW ON THE STRIP. FROM THE
DANCERS TO THE STAGING TO THE STAR HERSELF -

During check-in, the staff at registration seemed snooty. Oh, well, I thought, everyone has bad days. I'm in Vegas! It's happy time!

I was not impressed with the room at Bally's. The furniture was stained. The room looked lousy. All I could see was the roof of some building and part of one of the towers. Oh, well. I'm in Vegas!

In the casino, the cocktail waitresses passed right by my friend, my husband and me. Finally, our buddy, who tried his luck at another machine, managed to get a drink. My husband and I had no such luck and so we paid six dollars each at the bar for really weak cocktails. It's not like we stiff the waitresses, either. For something as basic as a Coke or some cold water, the minimum I tip is one dollar. Keeping us refreshed is the least the casino can do, since it robbed us. Disappointing, considering the fact that we chose Bally's because of location and because of the luck we'd had in the casino on our previous visit.

The price was decent for the stay, we were in a good location on the Strip, but it just wasn't that great. We probably would have been better off staying at the Barbary Coast next door.

If this is a "Four Star" hotel, the scale must be 1 to 20! On entering, the room looked acceptable, but on closer inspection the carpet was filthy, the bed skirt on one of the beds was ripped, drapery pull was missing, etc. The bathroom was a disaster: broken and/or missing grout, peeling paint, dried shaving cream on the front of the cabinetry from previous occupants, burned toilet seat from previous occupants (yes, we are smokers) bathroom ceiling was covered with smoke residue(easily cleanable but the housekeeping staff is quite lax). Housekeeping completely by-passed our room for 2 days until we called to complain and request clean towels, toilet tissue, etc. (no apology offered). The front desk staff was rude, the bell captains desk provided us with totally incorrect information regarding limo rental which almost resulted in us missing an important event. Unless you hold a "Players Card", don't expect to be treated as an "important guest" which is what they advertise. There was a "lounge" on our floor and we had the audacity to walk in to have a quick cup of self-serve coffee. There were no signs that it was "Members Only" and the young man who approached us asking if we were "members" was extremely rude and condescending when we answered in the negative. We decided to visit the breakfast buffet one morning and the mirrors on the walls lining the escalators were filthy. The food selection was somewhat limited in comparison to other buffets and was mostly luke-warm or completely cold and very bland tasting. We certainly were disappointed with the quality of the property, the attitudes of much of the staff and the overall level of service offered at this supposed "high quality, four star" hotel. We will not be returning.

First stay at this property. WELL WORTH IT!!! Dont understand why people frown on this place. I work in a hotel, so I am probably a worse guest than most.. The staff at Ballys were most attentive to all of my needs and moans without batting an eyelid.Room was immaculate, and the housekeeping staff were very efficiant. Will bw back in April.

Room was old and worn out.
Saturday minimum BJ tables were $20.00.
Very unfriendly dealers and bartenders.
Excellent and quick airport check in.
Way too long of a walk to the parking garage.
There are much better hotels available for less money.

Do not visit Bally's if you expect good service. We were in Las Vegas to get married and specifically requested a king size bed in a refurbished room with a view. After tipping the check-in girl at the airport we arrived in our room at the hotel to find two queen size beds and a view of the car park!!! If we wanted anything better we would have to be $100pn. We eventually after 4 days and what was now our honeymoon got moved to a kingsize bed room with no view. Check-in Staff, and front desk staff are not helpfull at all. Betting in the casino is not good, you will be waiting a long time to get a comp drink when you are gambling which is not the case at a lot of other casinos. The dealers are also not very helpful or communicative, overall not a very good place to stay. During our visit we also stayed in a suite in the Luxor, the staff, food, gambling and room there were fantastic, we could not have asked for more other than for it to be in a good location. I would not stay in any of the Park Place casinos again and would strongly recommend that you try some of the other casinos if you are looking for decent service and are not a high roller.

Great location. I love the airport check in. Use the airport check in to avoid the long lines at the hotel. Small, non descript gaming area, but low table limits compared to surrounding hotels. My only pet peeve is rooms with pass through doors to adjacent rooms. If the neighbor is one who comes in late or gets up too early, so do you with the sound coming from the gap under the door.

Will stay at "Bally's" again next year....

I went to Bally's Las Vegas on Sept. 26th through 28th checked out and I was there for a bachlorette party which on Friday night we had two suites on the 21st floor then on Saturday it opened up to a 3rd suite...I really can't believe what we saw...In one of the suites there was a chair with a pillow and a couch...well it looked like the maid just turned the pillow over and on the side that she/he turned over was sooooo discusting there was an obviouse spot of seimen stained, needless to say it was all over the top of the couch...the in the other room it was all over the chairs. Maybe I can understand if they just didn't see it, but it was very obvious that there was something there. This was the first time that I had ever stayed in Bally's and beleive me the last time...you would think that if you had a suite vs a regular room the suite would be spic n span...NOT the case. It was almost like staying at a no-tell-motel where rooms are rented by the hour.

I stayed at Bally's in September while I was in Vegas attending a UFC fight. We had problems right from the get go. My brother and I checked in and went to our room noticing that it did not have 2 beds, just one king size. So I waited while my Brother went back down stairs to get us the right room. About a good 20-25 minutes later he returned with another room that was just down the hall. Imediatly when entering the bathroom I noticed that there was hairs on the sink and on the bathroom floor. Around the mirror in the bathroom you could see the layers of wall paper and paint from the previous years. I expected the room to blow me away as it was a strip hotel but acctually the furniture was all old and there was no sitting chir just a desk chair. The hotel that we stayed at in Winnipeg before our flight was 5 times nicer sad to say. I cannot complain about the Buffet it was good and also close to our rooms but not nearly as good as the buffet at the Rio (check the buffet at the Rio out forsure). The casino was average and they do have 1 deck blackjack, which is good for a strip hotel. Don't expect comps for playing table games. They told me that they wouldnt rate me unless I was playing $25 a hand or more. The Location is excellent. Right in the middle of the strip and believe me that is the only thing that makes staying at Bally's worth while. Don't run out and rent Honeymoon in Vegas starring Nicholas Cage that is based in Bally's Hotel and think that you are going to get the same treatment and nice rooms that you see in the movie.

Hotel was fine but a long long walk to swimming pool, which to say the least was old and could have done with several coats of paint. Pool bar was pricey with very limited choice.
Contrary to other views I thought the breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Casino average 6/5 for blackjacks meant that I treated as even money and tipped the dealer with the balance.
Rooms were clean and functional.
Altogether a budget hotel in Central LV. Pretty reasonable I suppose

Arrrived on Friday 8/1 for our 3 day stay We checked into the VIP line around 11am and were in our room in about 15 minutes. We got a room on the 14th floor of the north tower facing the strip. The north tower elevators are closest to the casino floor. We had a package deal for 2 free nights and an additional night at $49. This would be the 6th time we stayed at Ballys. We have never been disappointed. The rooms are nice and big. The location is great and we are always treated nice by Ballys & Park Place. As far as the gambling goes, we did most of it at night or first thing in the morning. As a general rule, I try to gamble alot at the casino that I am staying. We were lucky on the nickel machines and I tryed a 25 cent Wheel of fortune machine and hit $400. I have said this many times before, Ballys is a good place to stay, great location and we have always been and continue to be treated to good deals. Employees are always friendly and courteous. We will be back in mid January 2004.

The only complaint I had with Bally's was the service. I waited in line for over an hour to check in. I was not thrilled with the wait after traveling all day. You would think that a hotel with over 3,000 rooms would have more than 3 check-in windows open at the desk. It was ridiculous. However, my spirits were lifted when I saw the room. It was gorgeous. Everything was clean, stylish, and new. The pool looked pretty old, but the water temp. was perfect, and it had a deep end (most pools in Vegas are only three feet deep). I would stay at Bally's again.

I'm still undecided about this hotel, was upgraded to a grand suite with the $20 trick-that was great, but the "suite" was filled with 1970's furniture that my GRandmother has-not so great. Pool is rather plain, but it has a great tropical surrounding and it's not that busy-great! but it's a 20 minute walk to get there-not so great, service is poor from almost all the staff but housekeeping (excellent with a $2/day tip). Location is outstanding though. I only paid $55/ night (Sun-Thur) but all in all so so

I have stayed at Bally's twice. Once in July, 2002 and again in April, 2003. The hotel has its good points and bad points. On the good side, the location is outstanding, center strip and close to almost everything. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. You can have three to four people in a room no problem, with roll-away beds. They generally charge $30 for the roll-away, but I found that if you ask nicely they will give you one for free as a courtesy. The buffet is mediocre at best. Paris, next door, has a vastly better buffet for the same (or lower) price. The casino is only average. I have won and lost there, breaking even overall. The dealers I played with were quite good. The pool is functional but nothing special compared to Bellagio, Caesars, or even Paris. It does have deeper water than most, deep enough to really swim in as opposed to just playing around. This is a nice touch. There is no place there to get carry-out food late at night so if you crave a late-night snack you will have to pay excessive room service fees. Overall, it's a great place if you can get a room rate under $100 (Sun.-Thurs.) and only so-so if you pay weekend rates. Check in lines are LONG so check in at the airport. Staff attitudes range widely from friendly/helpful to hostile/unhelpful.

We got there at 4:45 on a Monday - we requested a Non-smoking King size bed room. We got non-smoking, but two queens. We were on the 21st floor of the North tower, and were able to see the pool and the south strip. Also got quite a view of the Eiffel tower, which was nice. The room was very nice, very clean and well kept, although the wallpaper appeared a bit worn, and the showerhead provided no pressure at all. The casino looked very nice - although we didn't use it. Check-in required a bit of a line, but was relatively fast, taking about 15 minutes from getting into line to getting checked in. The express elevators were nice. The swimming pool looked nice, but again, we didn't have time for it. The location is excellent- right in the center of the strip. However, the hotel seems to be constantly advertising itself - in front of the hotel, on the hotel channels, everywhere. I was charged $20 for two long distance phone calls that took 1 minute apiece, which was outrageous. The restaurants were quite pricey, as was the big kitchen buffet, but were very good in terms of food quality. However, I found the room to be very nice, and I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in one of the remodeled rooms--they charge $20 extra for these but the views are poor and you can hear lots and lots of sirens at all hours of the day or night...bathroom was huge and the room was nicely decorated. Casino limits were a little too high for me, plus the slots seem to be very very tight but maybe my luck is just bad. Room service was awesome. TV has lots of good channels. Shampoo and lotion are both weak and stinky.

Had a good stay at Bally's! Park Place has been in the process of completely renovating all of the rooms in the hotel. My 19th floor north tower king room was very large, spacious and stylishly furnished, complete with an overstuffed loveseat and marble-topped workdesk. I appreciated the large stereo television and in-room internet access as well.

Even though Bally's is now 30 years old and is not a high-end plush resort like the Bellagio or Venetian, or a place for the fakes and wannabees like the Palms or Hard Rock, it is a very nice hotel in a superb location. I will consider staying there the next time I am in town.

A great value on the Strip! This was our second stay at Bally's. The first time we did not get a king/non smoking room as requested, and they could only give us a queen/smoking for the first night. The next day, they upgraded us to a premium room king suite on the 26th floor. Great recovery. It was a fabulous room, and more than we expected. The queen room wasn't bad either, but it was in a non renovated floor, so the furnishings were older and unremarkable. Our second stay was great too, as we knew to upgrade (not for too much more money) to a premium room, which was very nice. All in all, this hotel is a great value with a premium locale on the strip. I just love that it is connected to Paris!

We got a great rate ($59 per night) as part of their "Double Down" package, which included a few match play coupons, coupons for free drinks, show discounts, etc. Check-in was fast and easy at the Park Place airport check-in desk, and we got a nice recently remodeled room in the north tower. The room was great, although it was near the end of the hall and required quite a walk from the elevator. The view wasn't much to speak of -- looking north toward the rear of the Flamingo, Harrah's, etc.

The gambling wasn't really great this trip -- I had hoped to do well with the match play coupons at the blackjack table and get a chance to play with the house's money for a while, but I lost 8 of the 10 hands I played using the match plays! Oh well.

The slot club people were nice and all of the staff that we encountered were pleasant and cooperative. (The bell desk guy who retrieved our bags when we checked out said he was supposed to be on break but went ahead and helped us and several other folks out anyway -- they were short-handed that day, but he made sure the customers came first -- a very nice guy!)

The slots weren't good to us like they had been in previous trips, but all in all a very fun trip!

We have stayed at Bally's 4 times in the past few years. We have found the rooms to be spacious, clean, and well maintained. Our trip last year was with my parents and all of our requests were met: rooms near the elevators, adjoining rooms, good view... Be sure to take advantage of the check-in at the airport to avoid the sometimes long check-in lines at the hotel lobby.

I have stayed at Bally's several times and have been pleased every time. The rooms are extra large and quiet. The bathroom is large and super clean as is the room. Never a problem with getting a late checkout. The checkin is very convenient - you don't have to walk a mile to the front desk. Checkout in the room. The furnishings in the deluxe rooms are absolutely top notch. The location is super at the heart of the Strip. This is a classy hotel and casino that caters to the over 30 crowd so I fit right in. The lounge acts are great and reach the casino floor well. I will be back...

Ok, where do I start...Upon arriving we argued with the check-in clerk for more than 30 min about A.- the type of room we were promised, B.-the view from the room C.-the rate we were quoted D.- the 2 for 1 specials which supposedly included the show, buffet, and spa...all lies, the clerk and hotel assistant manager denied that any of these were included even though our internet reservation papers said otherwise (if you stay at this hotel, make SURE you print out any reservations and proof of payment you have made before checking in.) We arrived at 3pm (this is supposedly the check-in time at Bally's) - we were told the room was not clean yet, and would not be ready for at least 2 more hours. Don't ask for an adjoining room - you'll be told you can have it over the phone, but you'll end up 3 floors apart when you get there.
The spa...there was 4 people in our group and it was impossible to get more than one person in at the same time since they only offered one massage therapist each for males and females on the day we wanted to use the spa.
Supposedly high speed internet access is offered in the rooms - does it work? NOOOO. And you're treated like a stupid moron for not knowing how to make it work by the front desk.
To make a local call is ridiculously expensive.
After FINALLY arriving in our rooms, we each had messages saying we owed MORE money (after arguing with the people downstairs for 30 min when arriving.)
After all of this hassle, we cancelled our spa appointments and made a phone call to the assistant manager expressing our displeasure - he comped us 4 free buffet dinners - buffet was decent - Bert was awesome (our server.) After that, we didn't spend a dime in the casino or anywhere else inside the hotel.
The rooms - shower door didn't keep water INSIDE the shower. The toilet wasn't bolted into the floor all the way - hey, we got a rocking toilet. The AC ducts rattled ALL night long. Our room was a long hike down a cold hallway from the elevators. Supposedly we had a "Bellagio Fountain View" - well, we saw the 2 far right sprayers if we pressed our faces against the window.
Bally's favorite word is "no." If you like a challenge when you go on vacation, stay at this hotel and good luck.
By the way, my fiance and I considered getting married in Bally's wedding chapel, that was BEFORE we stayed at the hotel. I wonder if their chapel minister makes brides and grooms say "I don't."

Ballys is a moderately priced place to stay that offers rooms in one of the best locations on the strip. It has it's ups and downs, but overall it was alright. In order for it to be moderately priced, I highly suggest you get on the internet and surf for low prices. The downside is that Ballys and Paris both share a parking deck and you must trudge throught the Bally's casino into Paris and take some elevators in order to access the deck. It's a pain when you have alot of luggage or are just bone tired after having to walk everywhere else. Plus, my husband and I were told upon check in that the room would not be ready until after 3:00 p.m. We were fine with this, but when we got to our room around 4:00 p.m. the room still hadn't been cleaned. A word of warning: Bally's boasts that it has been renovated, but not all of the rooms have been renovated yet! The room was very old and grungy with a fabulous view of the dirty roof. Nonetheless, Bally's upgraded us to a gorgeous room with the view of Paris when we complained. It was beautiful with a lovely marble bathroom. Not bad for $49 a night! Of course, if you requested the room otherwise, it would cost $25 additional dollars a night. So, if you aren't happy, just ask for another room. All in all, while it's not the nicest hotel, it is definitely not the worst.

I had to put in my 2 cents worth. We have stayed here 3 times, most recently last March. The first time we had the same room as another commenter - 7313. The view is OUTSTANDING, we would go back to the room late at night, open the drapes, and just drink it in... or watch the sun rise over the strip in the morning. The 2nd and 3rd trips the view wasn't as great, but we don't go there to stay in the room anyways. We have never had problems with cleanliness in the rooms, always satisfactory - and they are very roomy, plenty of space to stretch out and relax after a day walking the strip.

Service can be touch and go, sometimes it's great, sometimes lacking. Bally's seems to be a popular convention destination, keep that in mind. The food at the Big Kitchen Buffet is quite tasty, we eat there almost every morning.

Our favorite thing about Bally's is the pool. It's nothing fancy, therefore it's rarely busy. It's clean, and the hot tub (which seats 50!) is always relaxing.

As with any hotel on the strip, food and beverages can run quite high. The location is perfect, pretty much the center of the strip. Take one day to hit MGM, NYNY, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and so on - visit Mirage, Treasure Island, Venetian, Stratosphere the next. Rio and the Palms are also a short walk away, though not as scenic a walk.

Overall, if you go to Vegas to do more than gamble, Bally's is a decent place to stay.

We love Bally's!!!! Checked-in at the airport - very quick and great service. We requested a south tower room and were given one with no problem. Stayed in Room 6213. The room was large with a king size bed and a nice marble bathroom and WOW we even got a millon $$$ view!!! Cleaning staff did a great job. Love the walk-thru to Paris. The only negitive are the sales people selling time shares.
Great location, Great price - Can't wait to get the next offer in the mail!!!!

Good service, clean rooms, great food. Just don't gamble here if you expect to win anything. Happened to pick a busy weekend with high table minimums and exorbidant room prices. Usually a great bargain, Bally's seemed a little pricy on this particular trip. If you go during the week though this is a fantastic place! Don't believe negative comments about the buffet. We used coupons from the "fun book" and got a good discount. The variety at the Bally's buffet is not what it is at other hotels, but what they have is mighty tasty.

Not a good visit. Room stunk. Took about 5 minutes to get warm water. Jubilee show was flooded out. Had to argue with rude staff to get proper room rate and package. On top of that we lost money at the casino. Could just be just "bad timing" but it will never happen again.

My wife and I along with two other couples stayed in Feb 03 for 7 days and thought everything about Ballys was excellent. We stayed at the MGM twice last year, it was nice but Ballys takes the front seat. About a week befor we arrived I requested our rooms be above the 17th floor, near the elavator, non-smoking, overlooking the bellagio fountains. To our surprise we were on the 24th floor overlooking the Bellagio and for an added bonus, to the left was the Paris Tower(WHAT A VIEW). We tried various buffets and decided that Ballys ranked near the top, the Bellagio and the Rio were the only ones better. We liked the gambling at Ballys because of Paris being joined maid it verry easy to play at the two casinos. The slots seemed fairly loose, We hit them the last night for about $1200. Needed it after 6 nights. Breakfast, try the fresh strawberrys, fantastic. We will be back in Septbember. Klassic in New YOrk

Stayed here in January 03 for my second visit to Vegas having stayed in the Stratosphere previously (won't make that mistake again!). All in all thought Bally's offered top notch value for money and possibly the best location you could hope for on the strip. Used the airport check -in which took about 5 minutes, highly recommended. Requested a strip view but was told none were available. Not really bothered considering the room we ended up with was in the renovated block (north?) and was huge, clean and had everything you'd need.

Thought the casino was a wee bit lifeless and not being much of a gambler I thought the table minmums were a bit too pricey especially as I was there Mon-Thu. More often than not found myself in the Boardwalk Casino blind drunk at 3 AM playing on the dollar blackjack tables tryin to win back what I'd lost in Bally's!

Negatives? The pool was closed. I know it was January but the pool at Paris was open and Bally's guests could use it but it was a 15 min walk from our room. Couldn't get any football (soccer) results from the sports bar area. And the girl working at the coffee stall next to check -in wasn't very good under pressure! She had a face like a bulldog chewin' a wasp!

On the whole though I would highly recommend Ballys.

My wife and I visited Las Vegas during the first week of December 2002 and stayed at Bally's. This was a very clean and modern hotel. The room that we had was up-to-date and offered a wonderful view of the strip. The staff of the hotel was very helpful. We ate at the Sidewalk Cafe and Bally's Steakhouse, and both establishments offered excellent food and service. The casino was also clean and not smoke laden as some casinos are. We will definitely consider Bally's when we plan our next trip to Las Vegas.

Well the casino itself is very nice. Nicely decorated.
For $89 on a weekend the price was pretty good. However, they said the rooms were recently remodeled. However, my room, did not seem that way. The carpeting, curtains, and bed comforters were old and worn. Everytime the toilet flushed, it took about 5-10 minutes to fill back up. The shower head had a little stream of water flowing out, barely enough to wash one's hair. For a place that stresses customer amenities, it sure does not seem that way.

Positives: Room was a great size and had a really nice view (south tower, 22nd floor-we could see half of the Bellagio fountains) The staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful.
Negatives: The bathroom was a huge disappointment! The room had obviously been redone, but not the bathroom. Small tub which had mildew (yuck!)Also, there were vomit marks in the doorway of a room down the hall that was not cleaned up after two days. Very disgusting.
It was a good visit, but not as good as others we've had at different hotels.

My wife and I stayed at Bally's the weekend of the 22nd - 25th, overall Bally's is an excellent property, the location is great, rooms are just fine (stayed in the South Tower with a view of the strip towards Ceasars), and the casino layout is good with a good selection of table and slots. BUT, I have one HUGE problem with Bally's, their comp system. If you play the slots their comp system is pretty good, my wife got $29 cash back for her slot play which we thought was pretty good given her time and amount played. But I mostly play the craps table...I was shocked to learn that for my over 8hrs of play with a $50 average bet that earned me a total of ZERO. Let me repeat, I got NOTHING!!! The hostess informed me that I had to have 4hrs play per day with a $100 average bet to get any comps...you have got to be kidding me, that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I have stayed in Vegas 4 previous times (MGM, Monte Carlo, Aladdin, Orleans) and was very satisified with the comps I received, and this trip I betted more than ever before. Eventhough my wife and I really liked Bally's, we WILL NOT be staying there again. If you can't play at the place you are staying at, there is no use in staying there. A few more things, don't hold your breath for drink service, it is very slow, also the food leaves a lot to be desired...Sidewalk Cafe - OK, Big Kitchen Buffett (Brkfst) - OK, Bally's Steakhouse - Poor, don't order an iced tea from any restaurant...Yuk!! :( The best food was the Nathan's hot dog from the snack bar.

Arrived on Sunday October 6th at 11:00 AM. Used the airport check-in, and was pleasantly surprised to find the room was already available. All requests were honored: North tower, king bed, non- smoking on a high floor. The room was very spacious and comfortable in both the bedroom and bathroom. The view was facing north on the strip including the Stratosphere tower. The pool and spa were very nice. Every employee encountered seemed friendly and personable. We received a rate of $55 per night Sunday through Thursday, which included a 2 for 1 buffet, Jubilee show and spa admission.

The only negatives comments I have were that the Big Kitchen Buffet was terrible, and the lack of $5.00 blackjack tables. Also, there is not much of a "fun factor" here compared to NYNY, where I have stayed previously. My wife and I did most of our gambling at the Park Place Properties (Bally's, Paris, Flaming and Ceasars) and although we are not high-rollers, were comped several meals. The slots seemed looser here compared to Paris. I would defintely stay here again .

We stayed at Bally's for wedding anniversary for 4 nights at the end of October. It was our first visit back to Vegas since 1990. We got an excellent rate and had a great time! We were able to check in at the airport which was great! Mu husband waited for the baggage while I checked us in. We received our key & everything, so when we arrived at the hotel we went straight up to our room. We were very lucky to get a south tower room, and what a view we had. We could see the effiel tower & even part of the fountain show from the Bellagio. Our favorite part was the Old Kitchen buffet resturant. The staff there was so wonderful. It had the best service of any where we dined and also the best service. We are hoping to be able to visit Vegas again only sooner this time, but we will not hesitate to stay at Bally's. The monorail to the MGM is also great. Loved every minute of our stay!!

The standard rooms are clean and above average in size. The location is close to pretty much everything on the strip with a tram that will take you to the MGM. That is pretty much it.
The service is rude to put it bluntly.
The casino is one of the worst in hospitality that I have seen. If you are losing you will have no problem. No big surprise there. If you start winning and they see you as a threat in the long run then you had better watch out.
The guy next to me was asked to leave after winning, from what he said, $2000 in a period of three hours. I should have known that after winning $1600 myself I would be asked to leave. The bad part of this was that they invited me to stay with them. So after packing my stuff and having to find another hotel to stay in (still being charged the casino rate at Bally's) it easy to say that I had a very bad experience at Bally's.
I still get invitations in the mail to come and stay at Bally's. The invitation should read something like, "come stay with us unless you start to win, then you better start packing"
If you like a nice room and do not plan on gambling on the tables then this is the place for you. If end up on a good streak then you are odds of staying in the room you have paid for greatly dimenish.

First time we have stayed at Bally's. Got a king-smoking room on the 21st floor, north tower. The room was lovely and large, decorated beautifully in cream and navy blue, marble bath with tub/shower combo but roomy. Our friends had rooms on the 4th and 5th floors and their rooms were awful. Extremely outdated, ugly, old fashioned dirty looking bathroom fixtures. It looked like a different hotel. They checked in at the airport and we checked in at the desk since we were moving there from another hotel and had been in town for a few days. Don't know if that made a difference or not.
Spouse enjoyed Bally's Spa several times. We usually eat breakfast at a little eatery downstairs next to the sportsbook called Stage Deli. $4.95 breakfast with 2 eggs made to order, bacon, hash browns, sourdough toast and coffee. It's served on styrofoam plates with plastic forks but it is fresh and hot. Never been overly impressed with the buffet or cafe, but with all the Paris restaurants so closeby, that was not a problem. Great location for getting around without cabs or rental cars. Just make sure you get a renovated room. The difference is incredible!

Large room, two queen beds, table, sitting area, glass shower doors means no curtain wraping around me, BONUS light in shower so I can see to shave my legs, three large towels so I can use one for hair and one for body, leaving one for hubby.

Loved the location and monorail to MGM got you to the next nice corner to site see.

Resturants were very pricey, but 3 cheaper places right beside to eat at Barbary Coast, Bourbon Street, and Ellis Island.

For the price I paid of Wednesday $49,$49,$59, and Saturday $89 it was an awesome location and room.

Good value. Great location for the price $49/night. Ask for remodeled room...it may not be a strip view, but it is a nice room for 50 bucks. Check in and out was fine. Most people were nice, except blackjack dealers. Easy access to Paris, which is much cooler to hang out at. Did I mention location? The only complaint I have is the walk from the parking garage to our rooms, it is farther than average. Table games should have lower mins. By the way, I have OCD, and I did not have any problems with the room. They were very clean.

First time at Bally's and I would definitely return. Had a room in the North tower near the elevator as requested. Tip: if you stay on the 16th floor or higher you can use the express elevators which are some of the fastest I've ridden. I don't recall ever stopping to pick up other passengers en route to my 17th floor room. The room was huuuge and had 2 queen beds and easily enough room for a somewhat comfy rollaway bed for the 3rd guy in our party. Check in was a breeze at noon on Friday, but I noticed longer lines Sunday afternoon. (Wanted to check in at airport but it was closed at 8am). Service was great everywhere in the casino except for slow service at the 24-hr restaurant. (High prices in the restaurant too). In the 'basement' of the casino is the Sportsbook, shops, coupla eateries, pool area, and monorail to MGM. We parked our car out near the Sportsbook each night which was closer to the North tower elevators. It wasn't great parking, but better than the parking structure which is shared with Paris. Unless you're gonna play golf or do a separate road trip you really don't need a car if you're staying at Bally's because of less-than-great parking and the Flamingo / Strip intersection is absolutely brutal: it took 25 minutes to drive one mile from Bally's to the Rio at 9pm on a Sat night.

I thought the casino was nice in an understated sort of way. Some online reviews kinda suggested an over 50 crowd but I would say the majority of the people in there were under 40 (myself included) so I felt very comfortable. (More than a few people under 30, too). The casino was easy to navigate and offered $10 BJ on weekend nights. Never did use the pool although it looked quite serviceable. A waitress approached us in the Sportsbook and offered us complimentary cocktails as we surveyed the NFL lines, which is starting to get less and less common based upon what I'm reading online. (Apparently, there's begging involved in getting a free drink at a few Sportsbooks). They also have Wheel of Fortune and Elvis slots in the basement with waitresses and slot attendants (and I needed both at various times too!)

Bally's is connected to Paris internally so you can enjoy all that Paris has to offer without subjecting yourself to 100 degree heat. Oh, get the Park Place Entertainment card; they gave me mine at the hotel check-in and it proved to be helpful. Everybody I talked to was very polite and helpful; check-in, dealers, pit bosses, cocktail waitresses, heck even the technician doing a minor repair in the hallway. What else....oh, I left the room for about 30 mins on a Sat morning to get some coffee and newspaper and when I returned the room had been already been cleaned. My friends and I really had a helluva good time at Bally's, and it really is quite a value. We all felt like Kings. I never saw any children in Bally's either, which was a real bonus. Viva Las Vegas !!

Stayed there for 4 nights. Contrary to previous reports here, check-in was very fast and the staff was overall very friendly, but I arrived Thursday night. Was given a smoking room (wanted non-smoking) at the VERY end of the south tower facing the Eiffel Tower with the Bellagio fountains to the side. Couldn't smell any smoke, so that didn't bother us.

Rooms are pretty average in decor but larger than average in size. However I wish the extra room was in the depth of the room, not the width. The large bathrooms were very nice though.

My only complaint is how far you have to walk. The walk from the Paris parking garage to the elevator was bad enough, then we had to walk a long distance down the hallway to our room. Oh and the ice machines there suck. Had to go up three floors to find a machine that worked.

Made a few bucks playing blackjack and slots, but nothing spectacular. Overall I was please with my stay there, and would stay again if the price is right.

Hello everyone. My husband and I stayed at Bally's for our honeymoon last year. I was hoping that we might get a room overlooking the fountains, but I DID NOT request it in advance. I am a pessimist, and I predicted that we would get a room overlooking a dumpster. Well, when we got in our room, guess what? We had a room overlooking a construction dumpster. And, there was major work being done in the casino. It woke us up around 730 every morning that we were there. Other than that, the room was ok. Nothing fancy. I suppose I would stay there again, the location is awesome. But, we usually stay at Excalibur. You can read my review for the Excalibur at the Excalibur rating site. We had rented a car and parking was hell at Bally's. The entrance to the parking lot off the strip is kind of screwy. And let me tell you about car rentals in vegas. Make sure that you can pick the car up at the airport and drive from there. We rented a car and had to be shuttled to an off site(about 8 miles) to pick up the car. There we waited over an hour. I went postal on the clerk, and asked to speak with a manager and still got no response. I will never do that again and they received a letter but I did not hear back. If you rent a car, a couple of places that are really cool....Red Rock Canyon and Mt Charleston. If you would like more info on these places, please feel free to email me

I was actually hesitant to stay at Bally's. I've always stayed at the Rio or Mirage and my son conned me into this because of the great location.

It was not a disappointment! The rooms were large and comfortable, the service was great and I actually came home a few bucks ahead! Learned how to play three card poker from a very friendly dealer and made a few hundred there too.

Came home and was offered a free three night visit at Bally's or Paris and a hundred bucks cash to boot! We are going again September 6.7.8 & 9. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Bally's is my favorite casino. Never stayed at the hotel, but I will in November. The casino is relatively quiet and comfortable. There is no band playing at night, so you can play and chat without shouting. Over at Paris, it is ridiculous at night when these awful bands start playing. Actually, those bands might be pretty good, but the sound/noise system is just awful and the craps tables are right there. You can't here the call; the dealers can't hear your bets. Miserable. Over at Bally's...ahhhh. Just a gentle hum of slots and conversation. Very relaxing. At the craps tables, look for a Vietnamese woman named "Swan" (actually Xuan) during the weekday. She (and Mark over at Harrah's) is the best craps dealer in Vegas. I have NEVER, NEVER lost at her table. Seems like a hot roll always comes around eventually. If it sometimes takes a little patience, she is nice to talk to and nice to look at. Gamble at Bally's and have a fun time. Want a lot of noise in the evening? Paris and Caesars are your places.

I was very excited to stay at Bally's, but once I got there, my excitement disappeared. My boyfriend and I drove to LV, and we were forced to park in the parking lot behind the hotel. It was quite a walk to get to the hotel from where we parked. Whatever. So when we get to the check-in desk, the woman was very rude to us. She was not very helpful and did not seem to be in any hurry to help us. We did get a room with a view at no extra charge, so that was nice. We stayed for 3 nights and did not use our car the whole time we were there. Bally's is in a great location and the monorail provided convenient transportation to the MGM, which was great!!

Unfortunately, the staff at Bally's was not very nice. There were no blackjack tables with anything less than a $15 limit. We ate in the cafe teh first night we arrived, and the chicken sandwich i ordered was not cooked all the way through and i got sick that night. We never ate there again. It is abummer to not be able to find a decent meal inside the hotel. We decided to eat at one of the Paris cafes (Paris is connected to Bally's) and got terrific service from all employees over there.

Other than that, there was nothing memorable about Bally's. The rooms are decent, but nothing spectacular for the price. The staff was not very friendly. After we checked out, we walked back to our car only to find it roped off by yellow caution tape!!! it was parked where we had left it, but there was yelow caution tape all around it, as if they roped off the parking lot and did not tell us to move our car. We had to cut the tape down to get to our car, and tehn had to cut through more barriers to drive out of the parking lot. I shudder to think what might have happened if we had left it there much longer. Overall, a very mediocre experience and i would not recommend Bally's.

The rooms were nice sized, king sized beds very comfortable and rooms very quiet. We found them to be extremely clean!! For $55.00 per night you can not ask for a better room. The view was not great, but it was good (north tower facing north). We would defintitely use Bally's again. The casino is ok, rather tight, did not gamble at night there so have few comments about drink service. No complaints at all!!

Our first stay at Bally's. As advertised, our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The room (5th floor of North Tower) had no view of the Strip (or anything else for that matter) but it was not important to us. On the plus side, it was easy to get in and out (fast elevators).

The housekeeping service was very good. We had no problems with the hotel staff. The casino was being renovated but it was still a good place to gamble. The location is great for getting to all of the other casinos in the area. Overall, we found it to be good value for the money.

If there was one negative to the hotel it has to be the check-in procedure. At best, it was a nightmare. It should not take over an hour standing in two lines to check-in. After waiting at "Check In" to get our room, we had to wait in a second line at "Guest Services" to get our keys. This section was not roped-off like the check-in counter, the result was a disorganized free-for-all with all of the other tired and angry guests. Also, if it is important that you have a room with a view of the Strip or a non-smoking room you better be prepared to fight for it. It does not matter what you tell your travel agent or what your hotel confirmation states, you must ask (or better yet, demand it) when your check-in, otherwise you might not get what you want. If anyone from Park Place is reading this, please do something to improve the check-in because it creates a terrible first impression.

Bally's is a good choice, just make sure you check in early!

The one minor, and I stress minor mishap we (my wife and I) had here was when we checked into the hotel. Our room was 90 minutes from being ready. Fortunately, we were planning to have dinner at Battista's across the street anyway, so we checked our bags and had dinner before we checked in.

The hotel room was in the south tower. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location of Bally's is terrific, because we are people who like to visit many casinos on our trip. Being connected with Paris on the inside is a bonus.

The price of this hotel is quite reasonable. The person who runs the sportsbook, John Avello, offers a great deal of interesting sports contests.

My parents visit Las Vegas frequently with my grandmother. Ballys makes it easy for them to get around the hotel. The tram to MGM is a good thing.

The buffet is first rate. The million dollar slot pull is a nice touch, although nobody has ever won the big prize.

Park Place entertainment is very good about coupons and promotions.

Can't wait to go back.

Just returned from a 3 day Vegas vacation at Bally's. It was my first stay there, and I definitely would stay there again. Check-in at the airport was quite slow as there was a big crowd and only two desk clerks, but once I arrived, I went directly to my room on the 22nd floor, North Tower. The room was very clean, HUGE, and the view was decent (MGM, Excalibur, Mandalay Bay). The location is excellent...right in the middle of everything, and what is not close enough to walk to, there is a tram or a trolley to take you there. All staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The only 2 complaints I had were the smokiness of the casino (eyes watering smokey) and the Big Kitchen Buffet. The dinner buffet was mediocre at best (not a good variety, food was lukewarm). The breakfast buffet, however, was much better.
All in all a very good experience. The location can't be beat.!

hotel was nice - room was large and clean. Restaurant food was very good. I think the casino is rigged to ensure you lose, don't play there. If I ever go back I will probably try staying at the New York, NY or the Belagio - just to try one of the new properties, but I was certainly not disappointed at Bally's.

Bally's is now one of my new favorite hotels. The remodeled rooms are large and very nice. We paid $65/night on a weekend so you can't beat the value. The casino is a little small, but because Paris is attached and the hotel is located in the middle of the strip there are many choices for different types of games. BJ on weekends never went below $10, however, they had many single deck games for $10. Jubilee is not worth the $50+ price they try and make you pay. If you can get cheaper tickets, then maybe consider going. I felt the show was pretty outdated and there are many shows that are better. Some people left the show before it was over. All in all you can't go wrong with Bally's. I would recommend the property to anyone who is not willing to pay big $$$ to stay on the strip.

This property is beginning to suffer a little. Rooms are clean, decent size, minus the dirty windows and a huge moth in my room. We enrolled in the 22nd club; pretty good..light breakfast 7-9AM and cocktails ~4-6PM. Makes you feel a little special. Employees need to be more friendly. This is the 4th time I have stayed here over the last 6 yrs and between the dealers, bar crew and change girls, they seem to hate their jobs. Construction was in force throughout the place, and some of the $1 slots would not even register the PArk PLace comp card. Did not eat at any of the restaurants, but ate at LaCHine in PAris, pretty good.

The best service of all was housekeeping...they didn't come too early and they did a really good job replacing little things like soap and shampoo and glasses. However, I made an appointment at Bally's Spa two weeks before I went and they forgot to write it down. I ordered the Gold package at $250 which consists of a facial, seaweed wrap, and massage. They gave me a facial and told me to come back the next day which interrupted what we had scheduled. The next day when I went back, the person that was going to do my massage called in. Lucky, huh? They decided to do the seaweed wrap and the person that did it wasn't too happy and it showed. She didn't have time to heat up the seaweed and it was freezing!!! Then I ended up getting a Swedish massage which is my fault, I should have specified which massage I wanted. They never asked and I got what they gave me. They did downgrade my cost to a Silver package which is a $50 savings, but I ended up paying that in tips. Would not recommend the spa, they don't have enough people working when they screw up. If you go, I would recommend calling to confirm your appointment prior.

Bally's was a pleasant surprise as it was beautiful inside. It has been well maintained and is in one of the best locations on the strip. Paris is attached and the large new hotels nearby. Enjoyed the Big Kitchen Buffet and loved the crepes in the "sidewalk cafe" on route to the Paris hotel.
The tram between MGM and Bally's makes visiting the south end easy.

A friend and I met at Bally's again and had another great time. THis is my 6th stay at Bally's and always get a North Tower room. They are large, clean, safe and comfortable. I have never had a problem with the room not being cleaned. Check-in at the VIP desk is quick and easy. I like Bally's too because it is not overcrowded with people checking out the hotel, as there is not an attracting theme, i.e. Caesar's shops or MGM. And now that it is hooked to Paris, you can hit their bars easily.

Just returned from a three day stay starting 21 February. Got a great room rate of $69.00 for all days! Room was excellent, larger than expected, with everything I needed. I had a nice view, facing north looking over the Flamingo and beyond. All personnel encountered were friendly and seemed to enjoy working at Bally's. Food was quite good. I'm basically a video poker player but do play some craps and slots. The casino was good to me this trip.

I've been to Las Vegas many times, however this was only the third stay at Bally's. Overall a very nice visit and I look forward to visiting again in the not to distant future. Not sure I'd readily pay the normal weekend rates but if I can get a similiar rate I'll be back real soon.

They gave me two nights free and sent a fruit basket to the room and a letter of apology. The room at BallY's was completely redone and was very nice. The Hotel has been fixed up but in the future I think Ill stay at the Flamingo, worn rooms and all, or at the Paris.

We really liked the casino. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Many staff members went out of their way to be sure we were taken care of-- from the housekeepers to the bell captain. The dealers were great! Especially Charlie, who made an extra effort to make us feel at home. Being new to Las Vegas, Bally's was a great place to start out-- not intimidating, but a lot of fun. We got a great offer for this place and could not beat it for $35 a night! Our hotel room was a bit dated, but very large and clean. The bathroom was roomy and there was enough room for all my makeup and hair things. We stayed in the south tower with a great view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower, we could also see a bit of Bellagio and the fountains when they played. Check in was very easy, we did it at the airport and although we arrived at 11am, there was a room ready for us. I was going to use the TV checkout, but for some reason it wouldn't work, so I had to check out at the front desk, there was no wait for this and the women taking care of us was very nice. Overall, all the staff we dealt with (check in/out, cashiers, waiters) were all very friendly. The hotel is in a great location just about in the middle of the strip. It's easy to walk to many other casinos and the monorail (although a bit of a walk through the mall) is convienent when you want to spend time in the MGM/NYNY area. Overall, a great stay.

This was my fifth trip to Vegas in the last year and a half and my third stay at Bally's. We like the place because the rooms are large, the casino isn't (unlike the one at the Grand), the location is perfect and there are few if any children running around. It is a comfortable place for adults.

My son, age 23, who's been to Vegas three times in the last year, sneers when we say that we're staying here, so something must be right.

We will be coming back again after mid-year for another visit and will definately stay here.

Asked for a view of the Bellagio fountains and got it for NYE 2001.
Room was a bit dated even though they said all rooms were recently refurbished. It did not look as smart as those posted on its website but the size and view made up for that.
Did not eat at the buffet but we had breakfast at the japanese restaurant, Icheban (on the concourse toward the monorail) that served a full american style breakfast for $4.95. No waiting like the deli next door and it was alot fresher as well and had friendly table service. Well recommended as people would think american style breakfast from a japanese outlet would be unusual but they are the ones who are wrong and were still waiting to be served when we were finishing up!
Overall, recommended but try and ask for a view of the fountains in the north tower and it would make it more memorable.

Bally's is a nice hotel which has undergone major improvements. The casino has also been upgraded, although I don't like the new "cashless" section. Instead of receiving coins back, you get a slip which you get to go stand in line to receive your money from. Want change to pay the drink lady? Too bad. Don't want to wait in a long line for $1.25 back- either use it up, let the casino keep it, or stand in the long line. Besides, what fun is it to win and not have those old coins just a dropping??
Other then that, Bally's is a great place with an excellent location.

enjoyed our visit to Ballys. First visit to vegas in 22 years so it was quite a nice surprise. We checked in at the airport. Only one person in front of us but when we got to our room the keys didn't work so had to wait for security to come and let us in and then wait for new keys. It took about half an hour. The rooms were clean and big. The maid service was great. The rooms are a bit dated. We paid about $350. for 4 day stay. I think that is a bit high. One thing i would tell anyone visiting vegas bring your own water. If you need water it can cost $3. for a litre of water. $3.us is a lot of money for 2 glasses of water. It was 109 degrees and higher most days and nights we were there and so we needed the water. Watch out for the timeshare salespeople as well. They are everywhere and man have they got a deal for you. Don't waste your time. I would come back to ballys any time.

Date Visited: 00/00 - Good Visit
Stayed at Bally's from 6/8/03-6/13/03. All I have to say is out of all the choices in Vegas,I am very glad I chose Bally's. From the check-in to the house keeping, this is a 1st class hotel. I got there on a Monday about 1am,did the 20 dollar deal and got a beautiful suite with sunken whirlpool/tub.So nice,I couldn't get my wife to leave the hotel at times.Extremely clean, smelled great. The housekeeping dept is Great. They always left enough towels and toiletries and snapped that room back into perfect condition. We we were missing an iron, called and had it in 15 minutes. Please, remember to tip these people appropiately, they work very hard. the hotel is well laid out, very clean and everyone there is pleasent, with the exception of a couple of dealers, stone faces. As a matter of a fact almost everyone my wife lisa and I talked to was very nice. We went to see "Bottoms up" at the Flamingo, tip the usher a 10 spot and get a great seat. I t was a good show,a little dated, but the enthusiastic performers made up for that. A good way to relax the feet and kill a couple hours. Lisa and I also went on the Bus tour of the Hoover Dam/Lake Mead. ent through All American tours I think,Vision tours does the actual tour though. Make sure you ask for the driver Tony. Tony is fron Cuba and made this trip a really great experience. He was funny, intelligent and knowledgeable. Hey Tony! don't forget to look me up in Tampa when you come here, lunch is on me. While in Vegas, we had some up and down eating experiences. Harrah's buffett was a good deal, excellent prime rib!. Go behind bally's,off of Flamingo and get a $5 steak dinner and cheap breakfast. Customers can be a little suspect, but that is half the fun. had meal with the home brewed beer at Main st station, the food was fine, the beer killed me and my wife, rude sounds for a day in a half.Clean and back flush the taps were in order I think. Also, the only unfortunate thing about Bally's was the "Sidewalk Cafe'" not that good for the price. We had an awesome meal at " Don Miguels" at the Orleans, great Mexican food value. Over all,we had a great time in Vegas, the only really bad things were the people handing out the smut coupons/brochures,really annoying, the trash on the streets, especially the "off the Strip" streets was terrible and the Time share people. You want a great location with a beautiful clean room at a reasonable price,go to Bally's! one note: the Machines in Vegas are getting to be a real rip off,i goo to the casino cruises around the Clearwater/St Petersburg Fl area and do a heck of alot better. Go to the single deck Black Jack tables and win some money.I hope this helps you!

I have visited almost all of the major casinos in Vegas and found the one at Bally's to be the worst casino of them all. They are under staffed so the service was horrible. I waited 20+ minutes to cash in a bucket of coins and over 1/2 hour for a hopper fill. The Casino has no character and fels like a warehouse. I will never visit this casino again.

Went to Bally's last September for 4 nights. The location is perfect, good walking distance from both ends of the strip, and the Monorail is great (except that is closes at 11 some nights which left a long walk home from MGM at about 1 in the morning). The casino was my least favorite part, it is boring and the slots were very tight. I had minimal play in the casino, maybe about 6 hours (mostly nickel slots) during the trip and Bally's has sent several offers for free rooms in the last couple of months. I am returning over Valentine's day weekend with 2 free nights, $100 in gaming chips, 2 free tickets to Jubilee, and $50 in dining credit, not a bad deal considering I didn't do a ton of gambling there. The service was fine and the room was clean (although the non-smoking room still reeked of smoke). I am looking forward to my free trip! 4 night trip in September (Wednesday through Sunday) only cost $280 for the 4 nights, a great deal considering the prices of nearby hotels. Recommended for the budget conscious traveler looking for a great location at a great price!
