No Hotel stay, just a very very short casino visit.
Entered casino, thought I would leave before I ended up with cancer from all the smoke!!
Get some air exchangers!!
Non Smokers beware!!

We found the rooms adequate, the casino small but friendly with frequent tournaments throughout the week, and the dining room offered good food at great prices for the budget minded.

I stayed at this hotel for about 8 days w/ 3 friends of mine. We didn't expect much, but it turned out to be a very good trip. The rooms are just like a normal hotel you'd find anywhere along an interstate. We paid less than $300 tho, so it was actually quite a bargain. The casino isn't the biggest, but the dealers are very friendly as well as the staff there. We ate at the grill every day. The $1.99 burger special was actually good. It was bigger than any fast food places burger and much better. The waiter we had was very friendly to us. They do get a little slow some times and might need some more help tho. It's about a mile walk to the strip, but very bearable. Usually we walked to the excalibur and then took a trolly to the rest of the trip, which was quite convienient. Overall we had a great time, and the hotel worked out very well for us.

WILD WILD WEST FORMERLY "KING 8" HAVE STAYED THERE MANY TIMES. WHEN IT WAS THE KING 8 THEY WOULD REGULARLY FORGET TO GIVE YOU A WAKE UP CALL, NOWADAYS I DONT KNOW, USE A TRAVEL ALARM. WHEN THIS PLACE WAS THE KING 8, YOU USE TO BE ABLE TO GO IN AND FIND A DECENT BAND PLAYING, AND THEY HAD A KNACK FOR GETTING GOOD BANDS. THE CORPORATE EMPIRE OF THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF STATION CASINOS CAME IN AND BOUGHT THE PLACE. THE CORPORATE BEAN COUNTERS TOOK OUT THE LITTLE BANDSTAND AND PUT IN A BUNCH OF CRAPPY TELEVISIONS. BORING!!! SMALL CASINO, BEAN COUNTERS HAVE MADE THE MACHINES TIGHTER. (OR AT LEAST IT SEEMS) THE RESTAURANT IS FAIR, WITH A PRICE YOU CAN LIVE WITH. ONLY REASON I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT, AND IT IS RIGHT SOMETIMES. BUT THIS MORNING I CALLED AND FOR FRI & SAT NITES OF FEB 28 AND MAR 1- 03 THEY QUOTED ME $79.95 PER NIGHT. WHAT THE HELL DO THEY THINK THEY HAVE ANOTHER BELAGIO?? THE ROOMS THOUGH SMALL ARE ADEQUATE IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT. THE POOL IS NICE WITH A SMALL JAQUIZZI. IF YOU DESIRE TO GO TO THE STRIP IT IS ABOUT A MILE &QUARTER WALK AWAY. IF THEY CAN GET THE PRICE TO $30 WEEKDAY AND $40 WEEKEND I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN. GOOD LUCK.

I did not stay at the hotel but did make a special trip for the alleged great deal on a hamburger special that was written up in a food column in the local paper. The $1.99 special hamburger (regular price) $5.99 was just awful! The fries that came with it were fine as was the roll. byt the burger itself was a slab of meat(?) that was as dry and flavorless as could be. I'd go for the extra $25 and get a Big Mac given the choice and I don't particularly like McDonalds food.
The wait staff left a lot to be desired.
