We "discovered" Main Street a couple of years ago by following the signs to the microbrewery. (we like our micro-brews!) Since then we don't stay anywhere else. We prefer being Downtown and Main Street fits us perfectly. The casino staff is very friendly and we love the happy hour shushi in the Triple 7. The rooms aren't anything special but we don't spend a lot of time in our room. For the rates and comps, though,you can't beat it. They are clean and roomy. I wish the bathrooms were a little bigger but that's not really a big deal.

If you like to play craps, this is the place to be Downtown! At 20 times odds, you have the best game downtown, with friendly dealers and a beautiful casino,if you like antiques. Rooms are relatively small,nothing special.Bathroom is tiny, a bowl and old shower tub,though enclosures are relatively new. Sink is outside the bath. If you play modestly, free three day room offers will flow to out-of-towners and this is hard to beat. Every LV trip has at least a few days at MSS!

We stayed here 28/02/03 out 29/01/03. Very good place to stay,stayed before,will again.Me and my brother's only "complaint"is the shower head. Both being 6'2" and 6' 3" the shower head is at our chest.If you consider that a complaint.Great place ,great value.

I paid $65 per night for a Friday and Saturday at Main Street Station. There was NEVER a line at the registration desk. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. My room was big and clean, although very basic. I was on the back side of the hotel. When I first walked in the room I really noticed the noise from the freeway, but I got used to it. It's like a "white noise". All in all, I was very pleased.

Stayed for three days on special offer and found the hotel and casino to be top rate. Very clean and the buffet was great! Did good on the Video Poker but so,so on the tables. We will only stay downtown and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.......if the room rate is right!

My wife and I travel to Las Vegas twice a year with a Hawaiian Charter Group. We have stayed on the Strip and Downtown. In our experience we have always had better treatment all the way around Downtown, but the Main Street and its staff have always been the very best. The rooms are very nice and quite large, the food is excellent, and the friendly service from all the staff espicially the Casino employees makes our experience there the most enjoyable. We have never won anything, but we always have a great time and will continue to return to the Main Street as our primary choice of hotel and casino.

The rooms at the casino are big and comfortable and also clean. the buffet was excellent especially the Sat. and Sun. champagne brunch. The casino itself was not that great but when you get free nights who cares.

My family held our reunion at the Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel. The one word that comes to my mind when I think about the experience is, service. The staff of the hotel went out of their way to make sure our stay there was a pleasurable one and was free of any obstacles that can arise when one is trying to plan activities for 50+ people. They tried to get all of our rooms on two floors, assign non-smoking rooms to the ones who requested them, help out totally with our banquet, and gave us very reliable recommendations for extracirricular activities from shopping plazas to children entertainment centers. The staff was always friendly and made me feel that no question was too stupid or trivial. When they say " if you need anything, just ask", they mean it. If you are planning any type of reunion or get together in Las Vegas, I strongly recommend that you give the folks at Main Street Station Hotel and Casino a call. You won't be dissappointed!

If you're going to stay downtown (and I would recommend it) this is the place to stay! Unlike the strip, the walk to where you want to go is always very short. Their restaurants are wonderful, and the casino is the most elegant in Las Vegas - filled with dark woods, stained glass, and antiques. The rooms are showing some age, but for the cost ($15.00/night with Slot Card special) it couldn't be beat. Even without a special it only runs about $30-45/night. They are also very large rooms for downtown and very tastefully decorated. I am very glad we tried downtown this year, and even more happy to have stayed at Main Street.

Didn't stay here, but played here. Liked the atomsphere in this place. It's an easy walk from Fremont Street. Played mostly nickel slots here and did great.
The only time I have ever hit a ten times machine with 2 ten times. Had a dollar in it and bam, 6000 nickels.....love this place.

The casino and rooms were very clean. Sometimes you can hear the trains blowing their horns, but it's not too loud. If you're a late sleaper, I would suggest bringing a dark blanket to hang up on the windows to block the sun. The shutters are inadequate for blocking out the light and it's impossible to sleap in. The microbrew is good.

I and my wife have stayed at this property for the last three years and are going again 6-09-02 and as long as I am treated as I have been in the past this will continue to be our favorite Las Vegas stop. The staff from waitress to coin persons to check-in and all the others are excellent. From our first stay we were treated like valued family members. What a wonderful experience.

Pretty casino. Rooms are pretty nice, but noise from nearby railroad can wake some light sleepers up. Easy to get free room offers with a few hours play on their slot card.
Good food, great brewpub.
Walk from Fremont can be a little intimidating for some, but cutting through the California eliminates that fear.

This is the place for downtown. The price of the rooms for what you get is great. No room service but good size room and bath. Small number of rooms means easy access to and from on the elevators. The casino is the classiest downtown, nicer than Golden Nuggett. Slots are great, table games especially caprs are the best downtown, even better in my opinion than Binions (20x odds). Three negative, and I mean this in a good way, no room service (already mentioned), distance from the other casinos on Fremont and no cafe (the brew pub is great but where do I go when I want breakfast). I have found the buffet to be good but not as great as other posts indicate.

Didn't stay here, but played a little vp and some cards. Buddy hit 4 of a kind on let it ride, that was cool. Good service from the cocktail ladies, and great service while sitting at the bar playing poker. Always liked this casino, whether it was the antique setting or the layout, it's great. House beers are good, and 777 brewpub has decent food. Dealers were friendly, and talkative. Great time, and I will return.
