If one needs a room when arriving on a Saturday when all the big hotels have restrictions I have found Motel 6 off of I-15 and Tropicana to be accommodating. It is best to make reservations, though, because the rooms fill fast on a Saturday afternoon. It is also more convenient to have an automobile for transportation. This is a decent place to stay for one night. The room is basic Motel 6 with a clean bed, towels, and one bar of soap. They have HBO on the TV, and no charges added for local phone calls. That's an added amentity if you have a laptop to surf the web using the phone's data port. The motel is close to restaurants and casinos. For a Saturday night arrival it's good to know there's a room for a one night stay.
