The sunrise and sunsets over the desert were delightful. What a way to wake up or to end the day by looking out over the beautiful desert from our top floor room. We found the hotel casino very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the stay and especially enjoyed the price !!

We visited the Ramada Express over the Christmas holiday. For the price that we paid for our rooms ($17/night), I was a little skeptical. But when we arrived I was very happy to see our arrangements. I almost asked for the adult only tower, but now I am happy with what we had. We had the West Tower, 22nd floor, facing the mountains to the West. I was actually pleased with this! The view was awesome for a sunset and we didn't have the annoying neon lights in our window bothering us all night. Definitely ask for a high floor though, so you don't get stuck looking at the parking garage! Also, these were about the cleanest rooms I have seen! No fancy soaps, bring your own conditioner or lotion, but for the guys- the bottle of shampoo should be fine.

Staff was friendly, and accomodating. The casino was clean and I mean spotless. Drink girls didn't come around as often as I would have liked, but not the biggest deal. I can't say that the slots were real loose. I did win at the Riverside, but the smoke over there is enough to kill you! I didn't play there real often as I felt the slots were looser at the the Belle or Harrah's.

The buffet is $3.99 for slot club players (this is free to sign up for). You save $2.00 if you do it this way. The buffet food was marginal. Food at the Dining Car Restaurant MUCH better! We did get great coffee and the most awesome chocolate eclair at the "Under the Stairs Cafe." Definitley a must!!!!!!!!!!!

The train theme of this hotel is really cute. The pool is shaped like a train. There was never anyone in it! It was great! This hotel also caters to the Veteran's, which is nice to see. Don't expect the wild party crowd though, it does cater to an older crowd.

I'd definitely stay here again. It was nothing but spectacular.. BTW.. I'm one year married and 27. I like the quiet, less touristy atmosphere. If I want wild, I go over to Harrah's.

Thanks...

I Stayed here December 31 2002, to January 2, 2003. Loved the big rooms, with plenty of room to move around. The ammenities for the room were great! Loved the cookies and milk that were present, and the New Year's Eve party hats, streamers, and noise makers. Rang in the New Year playing slots. Champaign was handed out to everyone, and balloons were falling. Had a great time!

I enjoy the casino, with a wide variety of machines, and a non-smoking area. Really appreciate that! The garage parking is one of the best features, with the elevators, very close to the elevators for the west tower. Will stay here again.

The Hotel was great..the food BAD...my first visit....I thought the area was generally nice and somewhat what I expected EXCEPT I was anticipating a MUCH higher level of guests....I mean bib overalls, sleeveless Tshirts, ..very low grade......I wasn't expecting that!

Since my many visits to Laughlin I'd say 90% of the time I've stayed at Ramada. I like their rooms and the 24hr cafe has good food. I've yet to hit a Royal here on video poker but I've hit a decent number of 4-of-a-kinds. I'll usually room here but I'll go play at Pioneer across the street. Good luck. Jarrod

We came down for a wedding and because of Memorial Day we had to stay here. I'm used to Harrah's but I found the Ramada was a nice place to stay this time. Very clean casino and friendly staff. The restaurant (the one that is a train?) was a little slow on the service but the food was good. We only stayed one night, but I'd visit again if at the right price. The downside is it's not on the river, but the Belle is right across the street. I sure would have loved an adults only pool, not just adult only hours.

Although nothing special about this hotel or casino, it offers a good value along with decent surroundings, friendly staff and ok food choices. If you go there and don't expect much, you won't be disappointed.

I've stayed here at least 4 times. The place is good all around; decent for the area without anything to make it special. It has always been clean, both the casino and rooms and the staff including waitresses are friendly. The food in the restaurants has been good as has been the service. Breakfast is good in the coffee shop. We sit in the train car : )...lol. The Italian restaurant is a good place to eat but the sound levels can get high when they are busy making it difficult to carry on a conversation. This is my only complaint. We usually stay here when we bring the boat and sea doos, spending most of our time at the lake. Get a river-side room in the tower if you can. The view of the rest of Laughlin is tremendous.

This was our first (and last) stay at the Ramada Experss and it didn't start off too well. The valet people seemed to be short handed and over worked, but they were still very courteous and prompt. We waited for a bellman for about 10-15 minutes (and never saw one) before deciding to take our own bags to the room. When we checked in, our room rate did not match what we were quoted (only a $10 difference for the first night). The check-in clerk seemed disinterested in even showing us on the map how to get to our room. The 24 hour restuarant wasn't any better. After waiting in line for a short time, we were seated where we waited 20 minutes for a wait person to give us menu. During this time, we watched others eat who were seated just before us. We couldn't find or get anyone's attention before deciding to leave, unfed and frustrated. The Ramada Express is a nice place to visit, just don't stay or eat there. The check-in and cash cage staff need to learn customer service skills and management needs to staff appropriately to meet the volume of the customers.

The one time we stayed here we were not pleased, but not exactly thrilled. The rooms were nothing to brag about. The adult tower was full so we got a room on an adult floor, that looked into the parking tower. The casino is OK but nothing special. What we have always liked is the Italian resturant. Other than that, why go to Laughlin and not be on the river?
