We didn't stay here, but happened by it while driving around. We planned on just a quick visit to see what it was like, but ended up staying for half the day! The casino is nice and has a large selection of games. We only play slots and both of us ended up winning over $200. We also had a comped meal at their Cafe which was great. Next time we may consider getting a room here!

Santa Fe Station is a good value for the money. I liked the location,
it allowed me to see a different side of Las Vegas that I had never seen
before(away from the Strip). Santa Fe Station is easily accessible off
U.S. Highway 95 at Rancho Blvd. The mountain views there are simply spectacular. Santa Fe Station has an Ice Arena and Bowling Alley (which is
great if you don't want to spend all your time gaming. The staff at the front
desk was always friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean with kind of
a New Mexico decor. I ate at the Santa Fe Cafe once and got a sandwich which
was very good quality. There is a Starbucks coffee in the Casino which I enjoyed on several occasions. There are about four other fast food places in
the Casino which it good if you want to eat there. While playing the video poker in the Casino the bartender did give me a beer on the house. I didn't go
swimming, but I did take a look at the pool and was pleasantly suprised to
find a nice size pool with a little waterfall by it, with cute palm trees and
landscaping and several loungers all around. It also had nice changing rooms
by it. Santa Fe Station was not overcrowded like so many of the Hotels I went
through on the Strip. There is a McDonald's very close by and the Century
movie theaters across the street has matinee shows. It was easy for me to get
to the strip on the expressway from Santa Fe Station to see shows at other Hotels. While staying at Santa Fe Station I was able to take a day trip to
see Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Santa Fe Station is in
an area of Las Vegas which is booming with new home community's if your in
the market for that. Many places around Santa Fe Station seem to be brand new.
My conclusion is if your looking for a place to stay in Las Vegas away from
the strip and a good value for the money, Santa Fe Station has a lot to offer.

The Santa Fe Casino is a DUMP compared to other casinos I have been in (Shreveport/Bossier is superior to this). The dealers are nasty, they act as if it's their money they are playing with, and according to my wife, the slots were fairly tight.

My in-laws live 5 minutes away and they are regulars. My mother-in-law enjoys the giveaways they have for locals. It is the only positive I have heard about this property.

Just another "Station Casino"... I really hate this place (and the rest of the Stations.) Move from one 21 tabe to another and it's like you're in an post 9/11/01 airport. "Do you have a card with us?" Very annoying! The casino hosts & dealers act as if it's their money you *Might* win.

The only reason I've ever visited the dump is, it's a close location to where I live. If Sams Town was across the street, I would expect the Santa Fe to go under quick. (Sams Town = better casino hosts, better play, loose machines)

Oh and since the Stations have taken over the place.. they removed the buffet.

Never stayed in the rooms but they want $39 for off days. Not a deal IMHO.

Stay away and keep your money. If you *LOVE* the "Stations" McDonalds type casino service... well you have no taste and deserve to get cheated.
