Date Visited: 02/02 - Good Visit
This is the little secret of mid strip. A 60's motor lodge provides clean and comfortable lodging at good prices. they havd AAA discounts and offer weekly rates. I hve stayed there 2 times and will be there again in Feb. It is on convention Center Drive across from Greek Isles (Debbie Reynolds Casino). It is a 5 minute walk to the strip at Stardust and there is a Walgrens on the corner.
There is a pharmacy and post office at the somerset plaza adjacent to the motel. It is a 10 minute walk to the convention center. They have a pool but it is not in use in Feb!. The staff include many older folks and are very friendly and helpful. Doors lock at 5PM and they buzz you in or use your key on the side doors. All units have refridgerators and most have kitchenettes, with a queen or twin doubles. they feature large closets, a well lighted bath with hair dryer. Beds were the most comfortable I have stayed at in LV. This is the quietest place I have stayed at and I really appreciate that. the furnishings are a bit worn but the rooms are maintained well for their age. This is not luxury but clean, quiet and comfy at a good price. There is easy access and parking and even a washer and dryer by the pool.There is an elevator as well.
